Every year we celebrate our anniversary at The Melting Pot even during covid. We love the bouillon fondue with steak and veggies. Mostly we look forward to the cheese fondue appetizer and the milk chocolate dessert fondue. This anniversary we waited 1 hour past our reservation time before we were seated. No apologies, nowhere to sit and no water offered. Very disappointing.

A fun and delicious experience. The cheese appetizers are delicious (we had the Wisconsin cheddar), salads were tasty, dinner was great, but it is a bit of wait time so be prepared to have a lot of conversation as you wait for food to cook, and dessert was decadent. Highly recommend taking a date for dessert.

have never been to this restaurant before, but have heard good things so my husband and I gave it a try. I can't say I'd go back for anything other than the dessert. Great service, and very attentive staff, but a little sloppy on presentation and mixing the fondue. Our carrots went rolling across the table, but the waitress acted like it wasn't the first time. The bread seemed a little stale and the cheese fondue was very overpowered with the wine mixed in. But no biggie! Onto the main course! Lighting was very dim which made me nervous grilling our entrees without knowing if they were really cooked throughly, so I skipped the chicken altogether. The dessert though was spectacular. Lots of sweet choices to dip! Overall, for the cost I think we will make it a fun memory, but likely only to return for the chocolate fondue. And again, the staff and management was very friendly.

Fondue is always really good at the Melting Pot! The only thing about this location is that it's at a strip mall, which attracts a lot of families. There's nothing wrong with that, but there were/are some parents that would not watch their kids and let them run around while these poor servers were carrying very hot liquid. There also was not much walking room, so they impeded the servers quite a bit, who had to find ways around them.
They were pretty busy when we came, so our server didn't come as often as we'd hoped, but he was very good and really funny and we understood he was busy. All in all, a pretty good anniversary dinner!

Great food, loved it all. The drinks were alright, the yin yang martini is to die for. They were short on staff today and ended up having a very long wait in between courses, but when more staff arrived, service was excellent. Fun way of paying someone else to have you cook your own food (:

Always love coming to Melting Pot. Have been fortunate to visit various locations including the ones in Charlotte and Madison. Never been disappointed.
But today....hmm.... Service was super slow; probably because it seemed like our waiter was tending to the entire section of 10 tables. Can't blame him. To be honest, with the current situation with the labor market, I can't even blame the restaurant. I didn't deduct the 1 star for that; they get a pass.
However, the teriyaki beef was super disappointing. Check the picture-- left it alone after trying one; just couldn't do it. It was chewy and just weird. I would recommend avoiding.

forgot her name but she had a pink-ish blonde pixie cut) was just the best server ever super helpful with ordering and made my birthday so sweet she even sang happy birthday with my sister. Really good Thursday night deal btw!

Have not been to the Melting Pot in several years. Had such a wonderful celebration for our friend. The food was so good and of course, the chocolate is the best. Kit was our server and one of THE best servers I have had. Personable, attentive, informative and went above and beyond.
We enjoyed the Pacific Rim and Steak Lovers, Fiesta cheese and the Chocolate Turtle dessert. Now we are rolling home. 😄

We had been there several years before and we were hoping to recreate the experience. We did the four course meal. The cheese, salad and dessert were great! My meat ad rosemary near it and that just ruined it. Our server never came back to check on the temparture of our cooking oil and we had to figure it out on our own. That was a bummer as no one wants to eat raw meat. I'd go back but mostly likely skip the meat.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We had to wait to get a table... the place was only half full. I ended up getting drinks at the bar because our server was so slow.
The food wasn’t that good. Very small portions. You end up spending around $50 a plate. Took more than 3 hours to eat and get out. The oil wasn’t ready but our food came out. We sat for about 20 minutes waiting for the cooking oil to heat up. I felt like the restaurant didn’t know what they were doing, on a Sunday night. Thanks for ruining our night. Will not go back

We went there for my birthday. The food was excellent! It is a nice place, good atmosphere, friendly staff. The only reason that I rate it a 4 instead of 5 is because there was a long wait after the salad before we got the entree course. It was probably a good 10- 15 minute wait. It wasn't spectacularly busy so I can't say why the wait but there it was. I would definitely go again!

I love this place! My chef/ waiter Timothy was fantastic! I have been going there ever sense I was little and now I just celebrated my 30th birthday there. It is my favorite restuarnt. The atmosphere and experience is great! I would recommend it to anyone!

The food was good but we were under something that was dripping on us the hole time. And our server was very slow.. they say the hole experience could take 2 hours and ours took 4.. good thing it was good company.

My best friend and I came here our first visit. I was very impressed by the friendliness of our waiter Mrwon and the manager Steven, they really took the time to explain the menu and the different sauces. The food was awesome. We are definitely coming back.

We had an exceptional experience! The food was great! Timothy, our waiter was very attentive and a lot of fun! The only negative is that the prices were a bit high. Also the bathroom was dirty! But all in all we had a great time for my daughter's 40th birthday celebration!

I wish I could remember our server's name I do remember she said she's worked for Melting Pot about 7 years but she was spot-on always there asking if everything was okay ,entree's are really good we tend to get cheese fondue and then chocolate afterwards I must say they make a killer dirty martini!

Poor service both times we went here .... The first time we were here we found a rubber band in our cheese .... Waiting over 45 minutes from when you sit down until you get your appetizer is far too long especially when it's not crowded.... We gave this place a second chance and there won't be a third
