The quantity and quality of food here is exceptional as well as the service. My wife and I ate here last night and we had a small antipasto and we split an order of veal parmigiana. We still brought home a little of each and we left full. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
The meatballs never disappoint and the sauce is the best. I'm always happy to bring friends and family here. The food is good, service is friendly and the ambiance is unmatched. Truly a family owned, neighborhood restaurant.
Must order the veal parmigiana. The stuffed shells were great. Good staff and classic atmosphere. Rivals the best restaurants in NYC....one of the best restaurants in upstate New York!

we love Ferrari's and think of it as the best Italian Restaurant around. Alway good food and plenty of it, served by warm friendly staff that really do treat you like one of the family.
Not in a very long time have I ever tasted or experienced a great Italian restaurant like this one. We made reservations for 7:00 pm and got there a little early. ( place was packed like sardines)I put our names in to "grandma" she said, "relax and have a drink, you are at grandmas, we are running just a little late but will seat you soon." I thought that was so adorable🍷. We were seated and were met by the humor of our waiter, Nate! He was full of energy and very accommodating ! The food portions and taste were over the top! A sauce ( Sunday gravy) like no other! 🍝Calamari melts in your mouth! And the cheesecake was🍰 the size of a double decker cake! Get there and try all that they have to offer! Can't wait to get back there! Definitely make reservations with grandma!👵🏻
Big portions.. great food .. fast service. Dinner for two with salads and appetizer in and out in an hour .
It's a must go when we are in town
My favorite Italian Restaurant. Fantastic food, wonderful staff. I highly recommend pasta night. Go.... you won't be disappointed.
Outstanding food and a great family. One of the best golf tournaments I've ever played in.
We had a surprise birthday party for my mom and the food, atmosphere, and service was outstanding !! I highly recommend Ferrari's for an excellent dining experience!!!
Service was impeccable, portions were huge. I had veal that melted in your mouth. My only issue was food came out too quick next time we visit we won't put our order in until after out appetizers otherwise loved it!! Would definitely go back.
The best Italian food and the best people. Jackie, we love you!
Ferrari's is excellent. They have a Wed special of Spaghetti & meatballs or sausage or one of each, including an excellent salad & bread & butter for $8.99.
I have gone here for years & I have never had a bad experience. I love their home sauce & meatballs. EXCELLENT!
Great local family run Italian restaurant. The food was really good and the service was great. Nathan was my server and he was super attentive and funny.
A very small but awesome family owned restaurant right in the heart of Schenectady County. One dinner will feed two people with plenty leftover. You better go with your appetite! The Eggplant Parmesan was ginormous 😊❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋 and yummy yummy 😋! The sides were ridiculously good and large. I mean like a dinner plate large.
Excellent meal on 7/5 with friend. Chicken Antonio was absolutely delicious...tender chicken and layers of flavor in the accompanying sauce. Side of linguine with red sauce also delicious. Pasta cooked perfectly; and again, an array of flavors in the sauce. Loved my meal. Kudos to the chef! Cannot recall our server's name but she did a great job, as well as the young lady bussing tables. At no time did we feel rushed even though the dining room began filling up. Would order this dish again in a heartbeat!
Their sauce is delicious. The
meatballs and rigatoni were great. Cooked to perfection. Very nice salad with roasted red peppers, cubed cheese, celery, black olives and tomatoes. Great Italian bread too.
The service is superb!
Take a decent appetite with you to Ferrari's, because you're going to receive a lot of food. It's an old, established restaurant in an old neighborhood with on-street parking. The lack of fancy decor should not deter you from going, because you will have a delicious Italian meal at reasonable prices! I got the in-house made manicotti and my husband had the braciole. Both dinners came with a side salad and basket of bread. Dinner for 2 (with one glass of Chianti) was less than $50.
Schenectady is known for it's red sauce restaurants. Ferrari's sauce does what a sauce should do, it complements the dish, it doesn't overpower it with either too much sweetness or acidity.
Good authentic Italian dinner. I had the lasagna the pasta was as far as I could tell was hand made. This was pleasantly surprising and the sauce not overly embellished with spices.
Great atmosphere well worth the trip.
