Food was DELICIOUS and came out quick. Service was also very friendly!
This was the best Chinese I've had in a long time. I truly enjoyed it. And my bf doesn't like spicy but got the Orange Chicken, I told them no spicy and it was on my reciept as well as the box! I'm sure he'll love it as much as me. The portions are wonderful!! I will have enough for work! Amd they even wrapped my box in cellophane and tied it so it wouldn't spill!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
The smoothies are great. The coconut is our favorite. The food is very good as well. Good egg rolls.
One of the best in NWI.
There are two restaurants that I have found to be close to what is available in Illinois.
This is my favorite place to get Chinese. The smoothies they have are delicious. The portion sizes are good for the prices. And the fact you can order online and pick it up is great because I hate talking on the phone.
Superb! Top marks! My wife and I spent 30 years in Seattle eating some of the best Chinese food in America. Since coming to Northwest Indiana, we’ve been looking high and low for a good Chinese joint—and we’ve found it in G. Jin. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is apparent, and the preparation of the fare is spot-on. The Szechwan Crispy Chicken strikes a lovely balance between heat, sweetness, and umami; the Sesame Chicken is complex and flavorful; and both the Salt and Pepper Chicken and the Black Pepper Chicken are revelations. The fried dishes have a wonderful, crispy on the outside/juicy on the inside texture, while the sautéed entrees are succulent and skillfully seasoned. What’s more, G. Jin’s prices are eminently reasonable. Don’t judge this place by its unassuming, strip-mall tenor—it’s the best Chinese food in the region.
I ordered two Egg Rolls, a large Sweet & Sour Chicken, a small Orange Chicken, and a large Chicken Fried Rice. It took about 30 minutes, which wasn’t too bad. It’s a local spot for me, so that’s also a big plus.
The Egg Rolls were awesome! It had a nice breading with many ingredients inside to blend them together. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was cooked just right and wasn’t too crispy. The sauce accompanied it even better. The orange chicken was pretty good. Some of them stuck together, but it was mostly because of how thick the sauce is to it. The Chicken Fried Rice is near perfect. I love how you can taste the onions throughout.
The portions were very generous and definitely worth the money. Everything was packed neatly and served professionally!
Overall, I’d say they have some of the best Chinese food around. I’ll be ordering here again for sure.
It was my first time here. I love their food, I will go back any time I’m craving Chinese food. Good reception.
I gave a 4 because their food quantity is a little off for me. My large looked like a medium.
