Really delicious Menudo , very flavorful and the barbacoa was very tender! Homemade corn tortillas. My girlfriend got the Mexican plate and the enchiladas, rice and beans are on point!!! Thank you so much El Charro!
This was our first time eating here and our waitress didn't seem to speak much English. BUT between her English, my very very very little Spanish, smiles and gestures we communicated nicely. She was very sweet and checked on us several times throughout the dining experience.

So I’m trying to enjoy my meal at work el charro restaurant in schertz with a partner after being in the hospital unable to eat. we’re the only customers there and there’s about 4 of the workers (6 people total in the restaurant) sitting at a table diagonal from us in full view. They’re all speaking
They are always ready to make ur breakfast fast and good. My name is Joe and I go there every chance I get. I love the girl's there. They treat me like family.
The food and service is always great here, especially lunch during the week! I especially like their crispy chicken tacos with the spicy red salsa.
Corn tortillas are homemade and DELICIOUS!!!! And the barbacoa is just as good, nearly no fat all meat they are not selfish with their portions.
