Service was excellent while the food fell short. We did love the street corn, smoky salsa and guacamole. The cauliflower and pork tacos were a miss. The chocolate dessert was delicious.

Excellent spot for a well made meal. The drinks were strong and we loved the atmosphere. Try the salmon or the half hen

Nice restaurant. Best margaritas I've had in Arizona. The guacamole is awesome, and they offer multiple spice/heat levels to fit all palates. The sevice is excellent. Nice casual dining experience on the patio. I would definitely recommend.

The place is decorated beautifully! The guacamole made table side is very good along with fresh chips and salsa. The cocktails are very good as well. The food is good, but they can improve on the tacos as they are too small to pick up and eat. The service is something to be desired. On a slow lunch day it took too long to get service.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Service was very good . Food had such yummy flavors, that My taste bud's wanted more. This is not Taco bell. If You expect the usual blase Latino food,it's not here. Give this place a try . You're taste buds will thank You.

Love this place! Jordan crushes it at the bar with delicious original drinks! (Ask him for one of his ā€˜off the menuā€™ specialties!) Vibe is relaxed and casual, with a top-notch menu. We had three appetizers and all were delicious. Peruvian Duck Fried Rice, Crispy Pork with Cola Like Glaze and Grilled Street Corn. All had original flavors. None of them were boring. We will definitely be back!

I really like The Mission! This was my second time here and I love the look of this restaurant. High ceilings, decor that fits the cuisine, and solid layout for seating. The service was excellent on a Wednesday afternoon. It also wasn't very busy at this time. I love places that make guacamole to your liking once you order. Awesome selection of ingredients and plenty of items to make it spicy (serrano, ghost pepper sauce etc.), you can choose mild, medium, or hot. I got the Rick shrimp tacos, they were delicious. The tacos are a little small, I wanted more after finishing, but that's just me being greedy. šŸ˜‚ I was a HUGE fan of the roasted poblano grits and the corn as sides. I will have to check out the Old Town location next!

Great for business meetings, family dinner or solo drinks at the bar. Brian, our waiter, curated a perfect experience. We weren't sure what to order, we said " two apps, 3 entres, " and the perfect dinner arrive just a few minutes later. Cocktails were well crafted and we didn't wait long for drinks or food. The 2nd floor balcony was perfect.

Anniversary dinner. Great food and service. The kale salad is the best Iā€™ve ever had; and we enjoyed the fish and carne asada tacos. The pumpkin spice bread pudding was incredible! Super margaritas, too.

This is a higher end restaurant with unique food options that focus on Central American flavors with a little nod to Mexican food as well. Drinks and food are great, service from Crystal and the manager were stellar for my friends bachelorette party. The only little hiccups were that they were out of a few food items and the soda I ordered was forgotten about even after asking a couple times. I would be aware that if you are looking for ā€œAmericanā€ type food, this is not going to be your spot but if you are looking for a special and different dining experience with great service this is your spot.

Went here for a late lunch this past week while on vacation, after a previous outing left my itch for great Mexican food unscratched. It was fairly empty, something to be expected in the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday, so I can't speak to the other reviewers' experiences of slowness during prime dinner time but our waiter was on the ball. The drinks we ordered were well made and we even splurged for a high end Reposado that was smooth. The chips came out warm and were perfectly salted, the salsa had a really good flavor of chipotle and a good amount of heat. We got the table side guac service and the only downside was the portion was on the smaller side; you'd need a couple orders for more than two people. The flavor with the cotija cheese was outstanding however. A second round of chips and salsa came without having to ask. My girlfriend and I ordered tacos: she opted for the sweet potato while I went with the mahi mahi. This dish was easily the best thing I've eaten all year. It's true the portion size may be a bit under what most Americans think of regarding a chain restaurant but not for something upscale, and the flavor outweighs the price point by far. The fish was light and extremely crispy in the best way (not burnt) and the olive aioli was heavenly. Don't sleep on dessert: go for the bread pudding. Its brown butter and toffee flavor is paired with a vanilla ice cream and the combination will make you forget about all that ails you! My only regret is that I live 1800mi away but we'll be back.

This place is swank. We usually go to the original in old Town but had to try out the Kierland location tonight. The guacamole is 100% incredible made tableside. I am a believer. We had the pork shoulder which is nice. Very messy. There's alot of delicious sauce which seemed kind of barbequey, sweet and spicy. It definitely splattered when it fell out of my delicious tortilla. Glad i wasn't wearing a white shirt. Way more pork than tortillas, which are hand made and outstanding. The service was spotty. I think they may have been understaffed so I want to give the benefit of the doubt. While our server was very friendly there were some things that could improve. He was often absent. We ran out of water and didn't get a refill until we were ready to leave. We'll certainly be back though! What a cool spot!

I took kids here between lunch and dinner. Even with a limited menu it was delicious and enjoyable. We had the steak tacos and brussel sprout tacos, both were amazing. The salad was huge and too much for a single person to eat as an appetizer.

The ambiance was beautiful, I sat at the bar and Ryan and Taylor took great care of me! I wasnā€™t very hungry, just looking to experience a drink and appetizer. I decided to get the elote, black bean dip, salsa and chips with a bonus ghost pepper purĆ©e that was excellent. I enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back and trying an entree and dessert.
