We were on vacation and came here for our final dinner. First time trying this restaurant and not only was our food delicious, our server- Shayne was phenomenal. He was so kind, attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and enjoyed our food. Had a great experience and looking forward to coming here again on our next trip to AZ. Thank you Shayne! Our server, Logan, was the epitome of professionalism, warmth, and expertise. Right from the beginning, Logan welcomed us with a genuine smile, creating an immediate connection that made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. Their knowledge of the menu was extensive, and their recommendations were spot-on, demonstrating a deep understanding of the culinary artistry that Kona Grill is renowned for. Throughout the evening, Logan exhibited an impeccable sense of timing, ensuring that each course arrived at our table with perfect precision. Their attentiveness never wavered, yet it was done with a subtle grace that added to the overall sense of relaxation and enjoyment. Logan expertly balanced being available for any questions or requests while also giving us the space to savor the flavors and engage in conversation.
The only thing redeeming about this restaurant was the wonderful service from reece. Never had a better experience in my life. I have nothing to say about the BBQ flatbread other than mid. Thank God I took my laxatives before I got there otherwise it would’ve been a mess.Had a wonderful marg to get the pills down.
Best experience ever!!!! Our server, Shayne was so funny and attentive. He had 10 tables at once and was able to make his rounds in a timely fashion! By far the best server we have had here! Happy hour is a great time as well to come due to prices and the portions!
First of all, Bethany, our waitress was sooo amazing! She was personable, professional, funny, and easy to talk to. She also gave recommendations on the menu. We hope to have her next time we go. Our food was so good too! We had the Kona calamari and the BBQ chicken Flatbread and the margarita flight. Everything was good!
The atmosphere is really nice too. Great for all occasions. I would say its kid friendly until a certain time because it just has an adult feel/vibe. Try it!

We've been back a couple times since my initial review, but I only took pics for Restaurant week. It was delicious, as usual, and you can't go wrong with prices during this week.
Our experience at the Kona excellent! The food was amazing and our server Derek elevated the experience! My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Arizona and were recommended to try the Kona by our hotel staff. We were not disappointed! Derek genuinely cared about our experience, was very professional and personable and made sure we had everything we asked for! Would highly recommend the Kona Grill to anyone in Scottsdale area!

After shopping at the Fashion Square mall we decided to grab dinner and the Kona Grill was available, and its casual and relaxed environment was perfect! We also had the most attentive, friendly and very much customer service oriented wait staff led by Century! She was just great and Denise (manager) also stopped over and checked in. What a super pleasant experience! 5 stars!
We had the best dining experience with Shayne as our server. He was very knowledgeable and all his recommendations were on point. He was very friendly and made you feel welcome as soon as he walked up to our table. Definitely will be back.
My server Derek was exceptional! He took his time and ensured my order was correct. The sushi was great as well, but the service made all the difference. Surely coming back and I hope to see him again!
I had a really awesome experience here last week!! Not only was my salmon dinner amazing but my server Century was the sweetest thing! I had a few allergies that required some modification and she knew the menu like the back of her hand and was so helpful with her recommendations. Totally will be coming back
The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly and came quickly despite a packed house. The drinks were better than most 5-star restaurants. And what more could we possibly say about the service? I wish my own daughter was more like Stephanie. SIX STARS.

Went for hubby's bday...sat next to the fish tank which created a great view and atmosphere...our server Victoria was awesome! Petite with a huge bubbly personality who did her job well. Always checked on us, our drinks never went dry and made our evening special. We started off with some happy hour foods of fish tacos, chicken skewers with Thai peanut sauce and the crunch roll and all were delicious ...then we ordered the jalenpeno yellowtail sashimi which melted in your mouth like butter, pricy but yummy! Then my husband ordered the miso sake Chilean sea bass with bok choy and broccoli and OMG, it was lite and rich at the same time. I ordered the macadamia nut chicken with string beans and miso whipped potatoes and then topped off the night with the carrot cake, which was one of the better carrot cakes I have ever had. The food, service and evening was just perfect and made my husband's birthday special. Cannot wait to go back and try some other things..thank you Victoria for the great service and to the cooks at Kona for the wonderful food.
Food was amazing but our server Shayne really made it a remarkable experience! He was prompt, quick, caring, and knowledgable about the food. He just had this friendly demeanor about him that made us all happy! Hands down best server I’ve ever had.

The food was delicious! This is my favorite restaurant in the entire Fashion Square Mall. Our server Stephanie, I believe, was very kind & accommodating! My friend thought she was slightly weird but I thought her knock-knock jokes were absolutely a riot! We may go back just to hear the jokes again
That tall handsome boy named Derek really made our visit to Kona so much better. Very personable and accommodating young man. I asked for his schedule and will definitely be coming back on the days he’s serving!
