We’ve been coming here for years… The most popular dishes my family loves, are the happy family chow mein, but we substitute the noodles in the dish which are thin and fine, but the rice noodles, which are wider and flatter and fabulous. See photos from tonight.
We also add soft tofu. That dish is world class and wonderful and sometimes we ask for low salt. We tried for the first time tonight the fried catfish dish, which was an amazing surprise, perfectly cooked beautiful light sauce. We asked for no spice and the fish was incredible. Must try this is a little treasure tucked in between Sherwin-Williams in Liberty station barbecue. And they have a full bar and the most delightful young ladies working there. Enjoy!!
I understand what the low stars are saying…but frankly, they’re wrong.
Ordered shrimp w/ lobster sauce.
Did it LOOK like shrimp w/lobster sauce that I had everywhere else? No. But to say it was “good” would be a wild understatement.
The food here may not remind you of the stuff you get at panda express or whatever other generic chinese you’ve ever had, but it is absolutely a much more flavorful, authentic, richer, and more amazing dish. Yes, The potstickers are sticky (SRSLY?!). The egg rolls are tightly packed, the soups are practically HEALING, no chewy bits of overcooked, deepfried bulk nonsense in sugar sauce, the noodles are oiled but not *oily*.
Yes, you might think they got the order wrong. They didn’t. I promise they know better than you. Thank the nice lady, and get ready to have your horizons expanded.
Or…feel free to carry yourself back to that walmart fare you think is “right”.
Glad to dine in again after a long time of only offering take-out. Staff very friendly. Gave 3 stars for atmosphere due to place looking tired, old and dusty. Will return for same great food and hoping owner will spruce up restaurant to look new and fresh again.
Excellent food and service. I had the Sweet and Sour lunch plate. It comes with either a salad or soup. The meal comes with an egg roll.

We're so glad that they're open for dine in again. I had the mooshoo pork and it was outstanding! They also have the bomb egg rolls. Highly recommend this place. Great service.
I forgot to get the servers name because I was on a hot date, but she was very nice. Excellent service. Really cared about everyone and took her time. Food was portioned well and had the perfect amount of spice. Dinner came with hot tea. Great time
This is some of the best Chinese food I have had in the valley. I used to come here when I was a kid and the food is just as good today as it was back then! This restaurant is a true staple in Cave Creek!!
Very nice, food was excellent! Restaurant was very clean, utensils, cups and plates were very clean, no water spots or lipstick grime. Staff was very nice, prompt and helpful. I had the Pad Thai, my daughter had the chicken fried rice and my husband had the Mongolian Beef. We also had the pot stickers and chicken egg roll as appetizers, all were delicious! Our drinks were filled promptly and were never empty. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.
The dining area is not open, but the carry out business is booming and I know why. The Chef or Main Cook, Lanoi is absolutely incredible. In my 55 years, this is by far the best I ever had.
Decor inside was very appealing. Restaurant was clean and well presented. Our server was a bit slow and forgot simple things like napkins and utensils we had to ask for, but was nice about it just the same. The food was on the salty side, but my wife who is Chinese and picky gave it a thumbs up for "an American Chinese restaurant." Not quite authentic Chinese food, but it satisfied our cravings just the same. Try the hot and sour soup and well made spring rolls!
