Finding Russell's was like finding a hidden gem right here in Scranton. We found Russell's about 5yrs ago and it quickly became our 'go to' place.
The Staff is by far outstanding, hands down to any other place. There is no better service. While we completely adore Katie, we know everyone there is quite competent.
Our food is always cooked to perfection and I love the diverse menu. If something was not quite right, I can count on the staff to make it right. They check on us frequently to ensure we are pleased.
Thanks Russell for having a great place, great food and being reliably consistent!
Russell's is a quaint Italian restaurant off the beaten path, with attentive and friendly staff. The food is exceptional. I personally recommend the salmon au poive.
It is a favorite of ours!

Our first time here to celebrate my birthday..It was amazing! From the atmosphere to the servers, the food was excellent! I worked in food service for 13 years, so I'm a tough critic..No complaints here!! Food was hot, and delicious!! We'll be back!!
We love it here! Great food, the owners are so very accommodating and friendly , great service ...a wonderful atmosphere...the food is so delicious! Deserts are crazy good (a coconut cake to die for!💕) I love it one of my favorite places!
Went for dinner last night for the first time in a couple of years and our food was fantastic, the patio is gorgeous and they had live music. It felt like you weren't in Scranton. We will definitely be putting this on our frequent list!

Got there an hour before on our way to an engagement. Russell graciously opened for us. This is service that you rarely find these days! The food is excellent, the atmosphere terrfic and the service superb. Highly recommended if you are near Scranton.

Food was excellent. Staff was very attentive to our group of 11 ladies. Has a nice upstairs dining area. Great for a little get together. We will again dine here with our group.
We had a group of 6 people and the restaurant was mostly open. We were seated right away but it took about 30 minutes for someone on the wait staff to come and take our drink order. Other than that, the wedge I had was one of the best I've tasted in a while. The Balsamic creamy dressing made the dish. I had the prime rib special. It was cooked to perfection and it was HUGE, even by Texas standards. I strongly recommend going her, but go hungry! We'll be going again as soon as possible.
I visit this restaurant every time my daughter visits as it is a favorite of ours. This last time, I went on my birthday . We both had a wedge salad, and it was fresh and yummy. Daughter had chicken eggplant dish and I had the haddock. I love the salmon here as well. Both dishes equally good. We had a wonderful waitress and very nice time. Thank you Russell's!! See you soon!!

They have outdoor dining too. We ate inside. We had pear martini's and they were fantastic. We had Stuffed baked Clams as the app and they were wonderful. I had pork with peaches & cherries with a side of red beets..... Fantastic. They source all the fruits & veggies from our local farmers market and credit the farm on their specials menu. They also have whole wheat pasta, my friend got that with clams, scallops & shrimp

Very nice staff. Delicious food and large portions. Steak au Proeve was awesome, little pricey however beef is thru the roof right now. Eggplant was done just right.😋 Wish the bread was warm and they would give u a basket with butter instead of one at a time and had to wait for butter.
