Unbelievable Sushi !!!!!! Great service (ask for Harry), amazing presentation, it was so nice to have the courses served one at a time instead of a huge plate or boat with all the sauces running into one another. Above all the food was over the top, the absolute best we've had in NJ. KUDOS to Yumi and their entire staff

There is no comparable sushi restaurant in New Jersey. The presentation and the preparation is unbeatable. The staff is friendly and courteous and the ambience is cozy. Would highly recommend Yumi to anyone who has never experienced great sushi.
My first time at yumi...... I did go for dinner , I had the octopus plater some sashimi and then a roll , trust me I have had great sushi from the east coast to the west coast (and dropped some good money on the way) , but yumi was excellent , the quality of the food , the friendliest servers , open kitchen , everyone super professional, even the manager came over to see how everything was, but the star of the night was the fish, 1 st quiality for sure, and to top it off yumi is a BYOB stablishment , can't wait to come back, I have a felling I will become part of the yumi family �

From start to finish this was the best restaurant experience I’ve had. The staff was incredible and the food was impeccable. From options to flavor to plating…it was perfection. 12 dishes later (yes 12), I was overwhelmed with how good every single one was. I’d come back 100 times over, it was that good! Thank you Yumi!!!
Yumi has been one of my favorite restaurants in the entirety of Monmouth County for the 10+ years I lived in this community. Firstly, the location is gorgeous right by the water. See sunset pic below as proof! Secondly, the menu is absolutely massive, from sushi and other raw fish dishes to items fully cooked from the kitchen, I’ve never had anything here that I didn’t like. Many of the items on the menu are also super innovative - things I don’t typically see at other Japanese restaurants, even in New York City. Thirdly, this place is super buttoned up in terms of service and how the dishes are plated. I love coming here and hope it’s around for years to come.

The food here is outstanding. The plating is creative and beautiful. We had everything from the tuna tacos to pork belly ramen to a banana and chocolate pouch for dessert. There were 8 of us so we tried a lot of items and there were no disappointments here. You must try this place when you are near Sea Bright.
I love there sushi. They also have great service and there atmosphere is great you should get the sea right roll the Yankee roll. And the crab roll. They also have great red beans ice cream you should also get there edamame and miso soup. And there green tea.
Everything was great I only wish the meal was better paced. It took a very long time for each item to come out. The course items did not come together either. The food was terrific when we received it and the staff was very nice.
A must visit in Sea Bright! The specialities are amazing and their fish is very fresh. What I love the most about this place is the service and the fact they have a huge selections. Everything was good but I recommend trying their wagyu gyoza 😋
