My Family and I went to Sunday brunch today! Our waitress and the entire staff was absolutely lovely! Every item on the brunch buffet was amazing and of the highest quality. Will definitely be back soon! In addition, they served the best bacon i ever had in my life!!! Looking forward to “Happy Hour” soon!
Monica, at the bar was very friendly and knowleable. She recommended our bottle of wine as well as our dinners. She was very attentive to us even though the bar was packed but not overbearing. Matt behind the bar was also very attentive and filling our wine without interrupting our conversation. Friendly professional and efficient. Of course, the food was absolutely superb. One of my new favorite places. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening. We will be back soon.
I had my sons communion party here and everything was perfect. All of my guests raved about the food, the service was excellent, and April, the event coordinator, was beyond helpful. I can not say enough great things about the staff and I can’t wait to go back for dinner!
WOW.....Thank you Alex Loehwing and the entire staff for making my first visit a most pleasurable experience. Starting w/the coconut martini, a sampling of apps and a perfect cheddar burger (Tuesday is burger night) I had no room for dessert. Look forward to my next visit��

Easter brunch was absolutely amazing!! The food was superb and the service was impeccable as well...I cannot wait to come back for dinner!!
Right from the door my party experienced superb service. The lobster dumplings and bacon on a clothesline appetizers were hits at our table! The ginger and black pepper salmon was cooked to perfection. But be sure to save room for dessert because the signature cheesecake pops will satisfy the sweetest tooth around. Thank you Drifthouse for a fabulous evening and delicious food.

We got to the restaurant a little earlier but we did not wait that long. Hafid the asst manager was kind enough to seat us outside which has a nice view of the beach and the pool below. Service was very good and food was good as usual. I have been to the Orchard in East Brunswick so I know the food is going to be good. Highly recommended! And thanks to Hafid for the nice service!!

We had our wedding at Drifthouse, in the middle of Tropical Storm Ophelia, and it was incredible. Penny, the event coordinator, was outstanding - she was patient, kind, and made sure every want and need was met both before and during our wedding. The entire staff was nothing short of fantastic - attending not only to us as bride and groom, but to every single guest without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy for us. Onto the food -- incredible and ABUNDANT! The passed apps for the first hour set the tone for an incredible night -- the lobster dumplings, lobster rolls, crab cakes, mushroom risotto arancini, baby lamb chops, and tuna tartare tacos did not stop coming! Every single item was the correct temperature and so delicious, people were raving about them. The servers were great at making sure every guest had as many helpings as they wanted. The dinner stations were equally amazing - sliders, pasta, BACON, carving, raw bar -- our guests could not stop raving about the food. Every single person left full to the brim and so impressed, and most of them cannot wait to come in for a dinner! Of course it was the best day of our lives, but we cannot imagine having had this event anywhere but here. It was absolutely perfect and we can't thank the staff at Drifthouse enough for making our day incredible, even in the midst of a tropical storm!
We recently booked an event at Drifthouse for a cocktail party with open bar for 18 people. It was amazing. Penny, the events coordinator, was wonderful to work with and went out of her way to make the night special. The wait staff was excellent, and the food and drinks were nothing short of wonderful. It was a friday night and the band was outstanding. I would def reccommend booking your next party at Drifthouse!
I was scrambling to find a reservation for Mother's Day so when I called here, sight unseen, and they said they had an early opening (11am) I jumped on it. GLAD I DID!
I've never heard of Drifthouse but I do know David Burke so I knew that it would be a solid place but it exceeded my expectations. Although the prix fixe brunch menu was pricey it was worth every penny. All the food was delicious as well as the drinks and the VIBE, even early as it was, was good. Can't want to try it in season when everything around is open as well. Go with confidence.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots! The restaurant made sure to make us feel special with a hand written card waiting for us on our table. The food was amazing especially the lobster bisque (the best we’ve ever had). We loved the live music and the view all made for a great night out! Would definitely recommend!

First off, compared to other places typically on the shore, this restaurant is great. The vibes were slightly dressy but honestly we went straight from the beach and it was totally fine. I have mixed feelings about the food because there were some courses that were so good and some that just fell flat. I think the conclusion my friend and I came to is that it's worth it to get the prix fixe menu, but really not worth paying the a la carte prices. For example the standalone lobster & shrimp scampi was good but pasta itself wasn't that special.. Off the prixe fixe menu, the egg yolk ravioli was amazingly delectable, but the market fish was just okay for me. Even in dessert, the chocolate mousse cake was great but the tiramisu lacking. Also the mushroom side should get a special mention as it was a side but still one of our favorites!
Overall my impression was that the food was surprisingly good but inconsistently so. Still, if you're down for a night out or want to get a nice meal on the shore, it's still a good place to check out!
Everything was delicious! If you eat pork, you must try the bacon on a clothesline. The service was on point. Presentation of the dishes was beautiful. And the selection includes both unique and classic dishes. Beautiful view of the pool. ocean and sea wall from Driftwood beach club.
We've been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years and it never fails to impress. Our server Janice was excellent and everything we ate was amazing. The porterhouse was great to share and they even take pride in their deserts. Highly recommend.
Went for a wedding reception. Food was great - Lotta seafood, but they are oceanside - and the ocean view during daytime hours is beautiful. Bar was fully stocked. Great time.
The food was well prepared and flavorful... Yhe drinks were unique and not overpowering... The main dining room was well lit, the musicians played appropriate dinner music and the staff was attentive... We will be back to try more of their dishes!
Every time I walk into drifthouse I’m greeted by the nicest hostesses. Bartenders are super friendly and great conversationalists. Bussers are quick and efficient and servers are attentive and really care about their customers. The manager Hafid is always so nice to me and I feel at home when I’m in their care. I love this restaurant.
If you're looking to have AMAZING food on the beautiful shore, Drifthouse is the place! The dining room had a warm feel designed with beautiful artwork. The food was excellent and all staff members were attentive, friendly, and super professional.
All-round a fantastic restaurant and bar, can't wait to go back!
