In Seabrook Tx. Incredible food and atmosphere and I'll warn ya. Watch your heat number! I did a #4 and I can handle hot food. Tasty but left an impression on me! Highly recommend Merlion!
One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The staff as well as the chef takes pride and great care in making sure it’s guests are being taken care of. I have never been to Merlion and not had an enjoyable evening. The food is amazing and the drinks are always great! I highly recommend this hidden gem. I wish Merlion and staff great success in the new location!!
This place is AMAZING. Had a small taste of their fabulous food and hospitality at the Rodeo Uncorked event. I knew I wanted more, and soon. Went for dinner tonight and the experience was even better than I expected. They have a prolific list of both red and white wines, with excellent prices for both a glass and bottle! Calamari appetizer was delicious. Raad Prick was the most delicious curry dish I have ever had. Treat yourself, and get it a little extra spicy if you like a nice kick! . This place is more than worth a trip over if you're not close. I'm sure I'll be back often. Be sure to make a reservation before you head over for dinner. You won't be disappointed!!
Love this place! Great atmosphere, wait staff are friendly, the chef is phenomenal! Best food I’ve eaten in years! It’s not “just” Thai food, it’s Royal Thai. The mixing of flavors is incredible.
Great food. You can never go wrong with anything on the menu. Don't be in a hurry when done there as every dish is freshly prepared. I can't wait until they get their new restaurant built.
I love going to Merlion for dinner. It is a great date night, girls night or I just want good food night. The staff is always friendly. The food is always made fresh and you never run out of great wine choices!

Great atmosphere. The service was fantastic. We had a large group for a birthday party and they did a phenomenal job serving us. Food was great! I got the Kao Pad with lump crab and my friend for it with beef, both were very tasty! 5 stars all the way!!

Absolutely fantastic evening. We had a three families for a party of 6 for the first time and the waitress recommended us to do a family style type meal. She made some recommendations that were superb and allowed us to enjoy several different varieties of Thai which we would not have done otherwise. Super environment, but do not plan on being in a hurry as they make your food when you order. FANTASTIC and we will ALL be back I can promise you that.
Awesome food and service. We even bought some of the art displayed for sale. It's on our regular rotation now.

The Chef's Table is an experience everyone should try! EVERYTHING that came to the table was amazing and delicious. We are never disappointed when we dine here.

This was a wonderful place! The whole restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. The service food and drink were very reflective of the environment, with seasonal options and fun interactions. I was blown away with the selections of meats that can be alternated with your favorite dish. This was my first time here, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had the absolute BEST sever Shaye! The best we’ve ever received at a restaurant! Shaye knew the menu so well and every item she suggested was perfect!
We were there to celebrate many milestones such a birthdays, anniversary, and engagement and Merlion did not disappoint!!
But what truly made this dining experience stand out was the exceptional service we received from Shaye. From the get-go, Shaye's attentiveness was remarkable; seemed to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them. She described each dish with such enthusiasm and detail that I couldn't help but trust her recommendations and so glad we did! She went above and beyond to make us feel like a valued guests creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality that's hard to find these days.
So started with shrimp in the mussel sauce along with the French bread! Oh my word it was amazing! Then on to Kao Pad with sirloin and seared snapper with raad prick! All the dishes were just amazing.
This was by far one of the BEST dining experiences we have ever had! Food was great but Shaye was a gem and she was stellar! Before we book we want to make sure she’s there and asked to be seated in her section. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!
This place is one for the record books. Some of the best Indian food around. Careful with the spices the heat can get hot fast. I’m a spicy food lover and a 3 is my limit here. I’ve been here 3 times and had multiple dishes as we normally share. Everything had been so delicious. This is definitely one of our favorite places to come. Make a reservation early as they can fill up fast especially on busy nights. I love the fried rice, dragon dumplings, lobster dumplings and everything else on the menu.
This is by far the best Thai food I’ve ever had in the United States! It’s so authentic to the best cuisine I experienced in Thailand. The flavor profile in everything we tasted was absolutely amazing. Super impressed! They aren’t playing around with the spice level. Even if you like spicy food, a level 2/5 if extremely spicy - beware.
My wife and I shared a memorable dinner last Friday. Jimmy, our waiter, was attentive and very informative about the menu. The food was delicious and the vibe was very cool. We can't wait to visit again.
Nice restaurant, bar, and lounge. Wendy provided great service; just the right amount of attention without being annoying. Went to happy hour. Drinks were generously poured- whisky and pinot. Had several appetizers- mussels, soft shell crab, spring rolls, corn cakes, and dumplings. Food was quite good and service great.
Our server was amazing and the food was great but the music from the bar was SO loud the bass was shaking out table. I understand having a fun atmosphere on one end and a dining experience on the other but the bass was way too high and made our dining experience less enjoyable:/

My wife and I and two other couples, had dinner at Merlion Thai restaurant in Seabrook. Our server was Michael. This was my first Thai food experience and we decided to go during Houston Restaurant Weeks. For my first course I had the CHICKEN SATAY KABOBS which were chicken skewers served with peanut sauce. My wife had Lobster and goat cheese stuffed dumplings, garnished with avocados and topped with pineapple curry sauce. For the second course I had PAD MED MAMMUANG (STIR-FRY CASHEWS) which were Hoisen based sauce sautéed with mushrooms, onions, snow peas, water chestnuts and cashews. My wife had KANG KARI (YELLOW CURRY) which is Thai yellow curry with curry powder, potatoes, onions and cashews, with a hint of cumin, turmeric and cinnamon. My dessert was Coconut sweet sticky rice topped with fresh chopped strawberries. My wife had Cheesecake topped with mango puree. We also shared a bottle of Nine Hats Red Blend. I had asked the server to bring out extra spice on the side. The food was delicious. I did add some of the spice to the stir fry cashew and it really added some heat. The restaurant was very busy and the wait staff was clearly over worked. Michael was extremely friendly however we did have to wait a fairly lengthy amount of time for our first course and again for our check. I did not mark down for this since it was clearly not the server's fault, however I mention it because customers should adjust their expectations if there is a crowd, at least until the restaurant can adjust its number of staff. All in all we really enjoyed our first Thai meal at Merlion and we will definitely return.
Just an amazing place to eat in Seabrook. The food was amazing and the drinks were just what you need after a long day of work. We were celebrating a birthday and they took amazing care of us. I would highly suggest giving Merlion a try.
Wow! I was blown away with Merlion. The patio had a nice view and the tables were socially distant from other diners. We were here for a birthday dinner and Pedro treated us fantastically. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! I can't wait to return when I am in the area.
Our first time dining at Merlion and it won't be our last. I had heard good things about it from friends and we decided to try it during the HRW event.
I admit having traveled to both Thailand and Singapore, I was a bit confused with the cuisine vs. moniker issue, but the curries we had were just about as good as the ones in Chiang Mai, she that's saying something.
The best place for Thai food in the Bay Area. Merlin takes the traditional curries and elevates them with delicate flavors and proteins like duck, lamb and wild game. Also, an extensive and very diverse wine list well matched with the food. They will be moving to a new location sometime later this year. The current location has intimate indoor seating and a very nice patio.
Best place for adult dining, would not recommend bringing kiddos due to the artwork on the walls. The food is amazing and the customer service is top notch. Been a thousand times and by far is my favorite place for Pad Thai. You will not be dissappointed!
This restaurant was a spicy surprise. The restaurant is in a beautiful location in Seabrook. The bar is a martini lovers dream. There is a good wine selection too. We had the Restaurant Weeks menu which was a three course meal: appetizer, entree and dessert. This Thai restaurant offers spice levels from 1-5. We had level 3 and I thought it was perfect, but my wife would have been more comfortable at level 2. I ordered the dumplings for my appetizer and panang curry with Shrimp for my entree. My dessert was the lemon layer cake. I'm a lemon fanatic, and this was perfectly lemon.
I absolutely love Merlion and it’s new location! We arrived early last night and got a drink at the bar. Liz, the bartender, was so friendly! I ordered a glass of Jolete Pinot Gris and my spouse ordered the blueberry basil martini. Oh gosh, I had a sip of the martini and it was absolutely to die for!! Liz highly recommended the dumplings, so we ordered those. Delicious!!
Once The rest of our party arrived, we sat at our table. I got my usual Kang Ped with chicken, spice level 2 (they said the peppers were warmer), and as always, it was so good!! However, the spice wasn’t nearly enough for me so I found myself putting a lot more spice on it. I finished the night with Juggernaut Cabernet Sauvignon and it was delightful!
The give you a dessert and bottle of champagne on your birthday, which is a nice touch!
Server was great. my sister's and I all shared a Chicken Curry. very spicy, but great curry.
Raad Prick is THE BEST curry I've ever had. The food is absolutely delicious, service was amazing, and the view from the Patio was great.

We came to Merlion for our anniversary and had a great meal. We started with a mix of Satay chicken and beef. We liked the beef a lot more, and the sauce was great. We then tried the Tom Ka soup, which was unique and a nice taste. We also got the Goat Cheese Salad, which was delicious. The cheese was really good and mixed great with the fish oil vinaigrette.
For our main courses we had the green curry with lamb and the Massaman with duck. The green curry is definitely a spicy dish by default, so be aware. My wife had to trade with me as the heat really builds on you. The Massaman was great with a truly duck flavor that worked perfectly with the duck.
We bought a bottle of my moscotto wine that we enjoyed, and I got a Texas Tini which I also enjoyed.
After our meal we were brought a complementary lemon raspberry cake and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary.
We really enjoyed our meal and I'm sure we'll be back, either for a nice meal or even just appetizers and drinks at the bar for happy hour.
First time here. I was very impressed. Happy hour prices on apps. Was able to try several different plates at an extremely reasonable price. Service was excellent and informative.
