It's a little small place on the side of Race street in Searcy that you might accidentally miss if you aren't paying attention...but don't miss it! The food here is SO good. Especially the chorizo (or mushroom if you like) fondue type appetizer. When they bring it out it is huge and sizzling hot. It says on the menu you order for 2 or 3 people, but I could eat the for 2 one by myself.

This place has the most authentic Mexican food in Searcy. In addition to their excellent tacos served with home made tortillas, they sell a variety of non-alcoholic Mexican drinks. They also stay open later than most of the other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant over any of the other fancy places in town.

If you are looking for delicious tacos, then this place is not for you. The tacos I received can only be described as knockoff taco bell at twice the price.
I was also overcharged by the man working the counter. He took my card before reading me my total and then charged me 10 dollars for an item that is 6.70 on the menu.
Don't make the same mistake I did. Save yourself from eating cold food and having your money stolen. Eat anywhere else.

Tacos were terrible, just mushy greasy meat covered in a mountain of lettuce, and the owner overcharged us as well. I called to ask about the price, and he lied to me about the price of queso. Menu says $6 and change. Owner said $9.80. If you're looking for better tacos than El Paraiso, you could very easily start with Taco Bell. They at least charge the prices they advertise.

Best Mexican food in Searcy! I really enjoy the Tacos al Pastor, carnitas, and fresh guacamole! Always tasty authentic Mexican food. You can literally see the difference in each plate. You won't find beans and homemade tortillas like these at other local Mexican Restaurants.

I eat here often. Recently, I have tried and loved some new things like deep fried whole tilapia, tostadas, liver and onions, and spinach enchiladas; but the things that make it great and above all others is the flavor of their basics added to the scrumptious main courses. Their refried beans, the flavor and crispness of their chips and their lettuce mix, and the three salsas are spot on. Great service, Great pricing, and Great food. Shredded Beef Tacos will make want to explore their menu too, ask for it special and see why I can't help myself.

This might be the best Mexican food in the state. You might miss it if you are not looking for it - the outside is really nothing to look at. The inside is large and not that "festive" compared to other Mexican places, but that really doesn't matter because the food is amazing. The refried beans are the best I have ever had. The food quality is high and plentiful and the prices are amazing. I have driven very out of my way to eat here, twice, and I will again in the future.

My wife and I ate here knowing nothing about the place. My wife had the Chile Con Carne (she was given a choice of mild, medium or spicy and she chose spicy) and I had the Brochetas mixtas con Chorizo and Queso (#16A). We also ordered some guacamole. The chips were really good and they came with two salsas - one had no flavor besides hot and the other was a typical salsa. We mixed the salsas and together they had a nice flavor. The guacamole was excellent. <br/><br/>My wife's meal had a really sweet taste to it and I thought it was really spicy. She claimed she couldn't taste any spice at all. The sweet pineapple flavor was something I'd never tasted before with Chile Con Carne but I thought it was good.<br/><br/>My meal was fine, but I don't think I'd order it again. There was plenty of food and it tasted fine, but it didn't ring any bells flavor-wise.<br/><br/>The service was great and I wish we had had time to go back while we were in Searcy.

This is some of the best Mexican we have had we live in Heber and we have made the drive just to eat there. The waitstaff is always friendly and service is quick. I crave their punch, salsa, and shredded beef tacos my mouth is watering thinking about it!! Love love love this place!

This place will not last. El Paraiso Apulco is disgusting. Their food is clearly not up to any sort of health code and the staff may be awkwardly friendly but that does not shadow the fact that they are sitting on their tushes not doing a damn thing. I truly question the quality of both the staff and their workplace. I will not be back, even if it's offered as a free meal!
