LOVE IT!. This is the best catfish around, I have been all over the state and this restaurant has the best variety and the best tasting food out of them all. The people are friendly and the bar always looks good. The homeade desserts are to die for! Can't ever get enough; I eat here at least once a week.
If you like catfish. If you enjoy catfish, this is the place to go. The service isn't great and the other food isn't spectacular, but they have good catfish

Seriously, though. This place has great catfish, both steak and fillets. If you're not a fish person, they have great fried chicken and BBQ ribs. It's also home to great sides like baked beans, cornbread, white beans, homemade yeast rolls, and what I can only describe as a seafood stuffing.
Fish was good. Husband liked the fried chicken. Ribs i got were so tough they discreetly met my napkin. Cinnamon rolls were amazing!
So good! My son says "this is the best restaurant on the planet". Good catfish and shrimp. All the fixings and the cinnamon rolls with serve yourself icing...what more could you want?
Really enjoyed the variety on the buffet. Service was very prompt and food was really good. Will definitely go back when in the area.
Better food than before. Got there 8 minutes after 5pm. I got the suspicion the line was forming long time before opening time - 4:00pm. This itself proves many families love the place.
I must say the food was excellent. Being a OTR I have seen and dined at most tasteless artery blocking eateries the roads have to offer.
Take it as the gospel the meal was prepared...not fixed. Just as it came from my grandmother's kitchen.

We went there yesterday as a part of my parents 50th anniversary. The catfish was amazing and the staff took really good care of us! I appreciate the restaurant taking our reservation seriously and roping off a section of the place. I would say that was the best catfish I have ever had and the hush puppies were crisp and full of flavor. Would definitely go back if I am in the area. We are from south Texas and there aren't really any catfish houses. It seems like the locals like it as well because when they opened at 4 there was already a line.
