Great new spot on the boardwalk! Went last night, had a bunch of stuff from the menu..cool ranch bites, shrimp tacos, Mexican pizza, al pastor tacos and more Delicous, great vibe, bring some Mexican beer and you're set! Hot sauces are on point too, try them all!

Every time I come here, Santeria is amazing! The poke bowl and stuffed poblano peppers far exceeded my expectations! I'm so excited there's an amazing taco place on the boardwalk!

Loved it here! Great food, (I had the shrimp burrito), Originality is seen from the moment you enter this restaurant. Alot of pop culture references..... the artwork and welcoming atmosphere were a huge plus. And it doesn't get much better than sitting on a boardwalk in the middle of summer as you listen to the ocean waves while you eat. Can't say I didn't have a few moments where I wanted to break out into karaoke mode and sing "Santeria" by Sublime! Highly recommend. A++++

Great food, great music, vintage bohemian ambiance. As a vegetarian I love "The Leftover" with avocado, black beans, citija cheese, chili crema and cilantro

Some of the more inspired food on the boardwalk. Great quality and less than typical flavor profiles. Loved the watermelon tacos and the street corn fritters. My only wish, is that watermelon tacos weren't so difficult to eat. They literally explode in one bite. My other request, despite the initial sauce being delicious, is that the fritters come with a different sauce that will offset the cheesy richness. I just felt like the creamy cilantro sauce only added more of the same, whereas I'd love to see some something a little more sweet and acidic paired with the fritters. Awesome ambience and decor. If you're hitting the boardwalk, skip Spicy. This is where the flavor is at!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time. The fact that they had Banh Mi tacos on their daily specials made us want to try it. We each got a box of 3 tacos, one Banh Mi and one Barbacoa. They were absolutely delicious! Well constructed, loaded with meat, and cooked to perfection. Sad we haven’t tried it earlier. They have a few picnic tables outside, and they have a order and pick up window. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

We've been trying to get there for two summers and finally made it today. It's great new age Mexican and an excellent restaurant in general. Best nachos we've ever had with the Barbacoa! Great queso dip- how queso is supposed to be- nice and gewwy. Hubby had the Bahn Mi and Calamari tacos. He said it was the best fish taco he ever had. I had the Barbacoa taco and kids loved their kids chicken taco. Can't wait to go back this weekend to try out other dishes. Best addition to the boardwalk.

Service was very good, our server was very helpful and pleasant (if I was rating on service alone I'd give them 5 stars). Food was also quite good, the barbacoa taco was great, however the al pastor tacos could use a bit more heat and were a little dry. Overall though I was very happy with the atmosphere (good music and artwork) and would definitely recommend stopping in. I will be returning the next time I'm in the seaside area for sure.

These tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. The Poke Bowl was to die for. The calamari was cooked to perfection. The guac of the day was superb. Can not speak more highly of this place.

Maduros 8/10 Carne asada tacos 7/10 The Leftover tacos 7/10 Guacamole (does not look or taste handmade) I'm a Cuban living in Toms River and was actually looking forward to Chicharrones (fried pork chunks) BUT, they offer pork rinds and call it Chicharrones on their menu; it is very misleading! The food was decent overall.

Always a go to while on the seaside boardwalk. They host events which we recently attended (art fair). It hosts some local talent that shows promise. Food is always on par, but don’t forget to bring your beer! (BYO) thankfully we had some friends think lightyears ahead of us and brought for the group! The tacos are amazing but depending on what time of year you go, you may miss out on some seasonal delights!

Very cool mexi-Calif place on the boardwalk. The food here is really good, especially the nachos. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and willing to work with me and my allergies so I could eat certain dishes. Great place to stop for s bite on the boardwalk.

Food was fresh and delicious. The barbacoa was perfectly seasoned. Also very unique dishes and flavors. Want a fan off the "weekly guacamole" but maybe next week i will be. Great food!

An excellent addition to the boardwalk! We stopped here after our day on the beach, and nothing says 'beach cuisine' like fresh tacos. The menu had an eclectic mix of tacos to please the adventurous palette. For example, traditional picadillo is traded for carne asada or bahn-mi style pork belly. The tacos are topped with a variety of unique ingredients, like pickled watermelon, corn salsa, cojita cheese, and potato stix. Not into tacos? Quesadillas are also available! Truly, a tasty and different take on Tex Mex cuisine - don't pass this place up!

Great new Mexican place on the boardwalk. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Nice variation from the usual boardwalk junk food. Congrats to the owner for bringing a great new place to town - and for supporting local causes.

They have several vegetarian options! It can be hard to get something other than a slice or a veggie burger on the boardwalk as a vegetarian, but this place provides (The Leftover>Jardin). As for meat eaters, everyone seems to obsess over the Barbacoa. They always have a list of specials up by the register. Pass on the rice of the day and guacamole of the day, stock up on the street corn bites. I’ve been four times, and they keep getting better. BYOB.
