We come for sushi here every year; and they haven’t let us down in eighteen years. The food is excellent and the service is great. We like to eat during happy hour between 4 and 6 because it’s a great deal. I highly recommend it.
Great service and food were delicious. We ordered 3 combo bento with pork cutlet, karage, spicy tuna roll. Karage was very taste. We also ordered Tempura dish which came with 3 shrimp, mix vegetable and a mushroom. Street parking but easy to find during the off-season.
The food was good overall. The sushi rolls that came with the dinner combo were smaller than the ones they make if ordered separately. I had the teriyaki chicken with vegetable roll and California roll. The miso soup was very good and the side salad that came with the dinner had a very tasty dressi
Great atmosphere and attentive wait staff during a unexpected rush of patrons. The sushi rolls were extremely tasty, well presented, and exactly as described in the menu. Must try the Monkey Ball appetizer as that is truly unusual and a very delicious preparation of stuffed mushrooms. I always look
The atmosphere is great, and the food is tasty! The only complaint I had was that service was a bit hit and miss...we were one of only three tables, and while I got the impression she was trying to give space or something, I could have done with a couple check ins, if only for a top up on my soda. I
I love this place but the sweet sauce is too sweet. It's like a honey garlic sauce that's pure honey. I would recommend switching to an eel sauce instead. The service here is always excellent. My favorite roll is the pink lady and they have a great happy hour with discounted rolls and appys
Pleasnt place. The food is of good quality, though not very detailed in terms of presentation. The server did not know what house Sake they had, or if they could heat from a bottle... overall not unpleasant from a tourist town with limited authentic Japanese options.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, I can see why some people have rated this restaurant a little less than perfect. Some of the rolls did fall apart. The waiter we had was new, second day. I think once he gets the lay of the land, he will be an amazing waiter. The flavors of the food were incredible.
Get the specialty rolls. The baked ones are amazing. Nice seating areas and friendly service. Salmon and chicken were good but I'd get 2 specialty rolls next time I'm on vacation here. Normal spicy tuna rolls were good too but get the specialty rolls!
omg the food amazing we got a lot of food and it pretty pricey but it worth it it all good it take a while for the food to come but it ok we order a lot but still it was soooo good I would come again and again
Well worth the price. I have been many times, (it's my #1 choice for my birthday) and I will definitely go many more. Sushi is my favorite food, and Tora is the only 'REAL' sushi place in the northern Oregon coast. It is exquisite 👌.
A really fun time for the family and great sushi rolls. Definitely try it out. I should have took pictures of our sushi rolls, very good
The food here is pretty good! I really loved the atmosphere and I'm sure during a nice nightly excursion it gets even better. The staff was pleasant and helpful with dumb questions and our food came out in about 15 min.
We had a lovely sit at the sushi bar. It was very good. They have some great spicy rolls. Fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely order the specialty rolls! The tuna and salmon sashimi was Devine.
