Love the chowder, so much flavors in it! Can’t find broasted chicken? They did an excellent job making it crunchy and juicy. Awesome food with awesome service! You can tell the new owners put in a lot of effort making improvements and kept all the good things about this place.
Great place to stop by when you visit the coast!

Wow, what can I say.. I was really impressed and pleased with my dining experience at the Roadhouse. I opted for the daily special, which was fry bread tacos and they were really special (especially for food offered in the area). People in my group also got the sea food options (the seared scallops were next level) and it was all delicious and reasonably priced for the area! I heard it was just acquired by new ownership, so I had to test it for myself.. and I think you will not be disappointed with the experience. They also have a cute little bar to grab a drink and a few lottery machines if you’re feeling lucky. It was so good I had to come back and try the prime rib special (which I believe is two days a week) and wow.. worth every penny!
In conclusion: if you are traveling through Cannon Beach or Seaside, it’s definitely the perfect place to grab a well priced and delicious meal!
P.S. Hopefully you will also get a chance to try the cinnamon roll crusted pear pie with whipped cream and drizzled sauce.. perfect conclusion to a delightful meal!
We all got clam chowder, my dad and I got garlic bread, and my mom got a side shrimp salad to go with her soup. It was delicious! Probably the best clam chowder any of us have ever had! Very flavorful with good thickness and plenty of fillings. The service was also fast and attentive.
Halibut fish and chips were amazing and tasted super fresh. Clam chowder is the best I've ever had. Waitress was super friendly and attentive.
Absolutely the BEST clam chowder we've had-- ever! We've compared, and it is much better than another popular area restaurant chain.
Also, I don't know how fried seafood can possibly taste this good, but it's also the best I've ever tasted. It's very flavorfully battered. I rarely order fried food, but theirs is totally worth it! And the cocktail sauce! Amazing and unique.
We're so glad we stumbled upon this restaurant! Seriously, it was the only place where we could park our fifth wheel as we passed through several towns around lunchtime. It should be a destination and area attraction.
Took my grandson here for his 5th birthday and he requested the beach! So of course fish and chowder are a must!! Sat outside on their patio as my friends had a dog with them. Service was spotty to find out it was the bartender serving us. Food was amazing, just had to wait longer than expected especially on drinks. My friends suggested it as that is the only place they go to when in Seaside. Great food and okay prices.
16 dollar chicken fried steak w eggs and potatoes, + biscuit = winning!! That was off thier thanksgiving specials.

We stopped in just to check this place out. We ordered a couple drinks and some scallops! Food was amazing, staff was friendly. Will definitely be coming back
I stopped in after a morning of clamming and found this place to be great. Portions will definitely fill you up and they are fairly attentive to keep your coffee cup filled. I liked it so much, I ate there the following day as well before heading back to Portland.
Easy to spot from the road, plenty of parking, friendly staff and good food. Also a few of the tables have outlets to charge your phone. There's also an outside deck which is great in nice weather!
Fettucine w/huge scallops & bread. So tasty! This place is always good & filling.
Great food and good people. Andrew, the owner, is very nice, and the food is awesome. I've been here twice now, and plan to keep stopping in when I'm in the area.

Prime rib dinner was excellent! Cozy diner that was perfect pitstop on our road trip. Definitely worth the stop.
New owners now ..but same menu...a little disappointed in this visit but will try again when new guys get settled... otherwise it has been an amazing place to eat for Many years.
Nice plain food, in a 1950s atmosphere. Never a big crowd. Very convenient to both highways.
