Service is amazing in this little joint. You know a restaurant is great when it's full and this place was no exception. Had the Cubano torta which is loaded with all the meats they serve I believe and it was super good and filling. The wife had the jalapeno tamale and she said it was delicious. Agai

La Tortuga is a Oaxacan restaurant with absolutely delicious choices from breakfast to dinner and amazing looking desserts, too. We ordered the Nachos and La Hollandesa Torta. Both were outstanding. 2 drinks, 2 dishes, and 4 conchas for tomorrow for under $40! Finally delicious food with reasonable

We ate at la Tortuga the server is really nice and attentive. I had chilaquiles Verde camaron it's really good and I also ordered menudo. The menudo is tasty as well. My husband has the trio it's good but the meat were dry. We also had desserts we ordered tres leches, flan and strawberry cheesecake.
One my favorites after a round or two of golfing onbthe Monterey peninsula. Had the chili Verde, yum. Generous hunks of pork in a wonderful verde sauce.

After coming to try this place, I understand why 5 star is aplenty for this eatery. Fiesta El Mar portion is good for 2 share and, we got a soft taco (beef cheek and tilapia) each. Good and service are great!!

Been there a few times now, very good, flavorful and large sandwiches, consistently friendly service, great prices. Definitely would recommend. Parking lot in back is small, and not much street parking nearby. Indoor and outdoor setup for dining.
