A laidback tap house with some eccentric decor, including a graffiti wall, a hung surfboard, and a wall of posters/stickers. There is also a variety of seating, such as traditional bar, tall tables, and a few couches.
The beer selection is large and runs the gamut. They also have a decent wine selection. I enjoyed the hazy on tap as well as a couple different sours. I also tried a 13.5% oak-barrel-aged beer that was pretty out there and heavy. My German friend was surprised by all the German-stylized coasters and glasses.
The bartender was pretty cool. He was easygoing and funny, and gave some nice pointers about the beer. This spot also has a huge bottle/can selection and does growlers too. I have to say this is one of the most eclectic, high-quality tap rooms I’ve been to in quite some time.

Place is great for craft or harder to find beers. Couple of wines are available too but really just beer house with some on tap and plenty more in bottle or can. No food on site but they allow BYOF.

This little known taphouse, hidden in the heart of Sand City is a local favorite. Owner Kai and the rest of his ‘beertenders’ offer a Cheers-like atmosphere among the regulars, always friendly and open for good conversation. Post has a rotating array of taps with something for everyone. In a world currently dominated by IPA’s, Post No Bills always has an eclectic variety, no matter what you’re interested in. And if the taplist doesn’t thrill your gorilla, there’s probably over two hundred selections in cans and bottles. They have a nice patio for warmer days and I’ve never seen the bathrooms less than clean. They regularly have food trucks outside to help sober up if you’ve overestimated your alcohol to blood level ratio! And every month they have a tap takeover, usually offering special to go four packs, coupled with a draft and collectors glass for a little over $20. There are tv’s available for game day and Happy Hour offerings every day but Saturday. The only negative is that the place does get packed on the weekends, but it honestly only adds to the charm.

The bartender is always so sweet. Décor is hand painted dragons that transport me to another world. Great brews and cider and just always a lovely crowd. It’s our crew’s after-rehearsal go-to place. Very fun. Food trucks outside offer good fare.

Pretty awesome place in a very cool neighborhood. Great selection of tap beer and cans as well and also an official clamper watering hole, 💪🏼 makes this place a perfect hangout for me when I’m in sand city.

I stopped in and picked up a six pack of craft beers... I had 5 and the gentleman working mentioned they give you 10% off with 6. How can you go wrong. They had some really amazing beers available. Prices were a dollar less than marked price for to go orders and ranged from $4 - 9 for what I chose. They have a bar and several beers on tap when covid settles down.

Looks like a nice place. Came up on a dog friendly search. This place is not dog friendly, no dogs allowed. No outside dining. Just an FYI. Don't take your dog. Google forcing me to rate. Looks like a nice place. Parking, not too busy.

Great beer selection with everything from pilsners to lagers, sours, ciders and ipas. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice that it's located in a quieter part of town. Thanks!

I truly enjoy the easy going atmosphere and the art on the walls of Post No Bills. This trip I had a quick taste of two dark drafts after a bike ride at Ft. Ord.

What a great place to relax and have a brew. Great stuff on tap and if that doesn’t suit your fancy, pick a bottle from the fridges.

In response to the two negative reviews. Dominianne & Cassie, stop your whining. PNB is neither Denny's (open all night for your pleasure) nor is it Target, with an army of people to serve you. PNB is a very cool, excellent craft beer bar that's staffed by one or two people on any given evening - and at times, closes early because of slow business.
If you need a bottle of wine at 10 pm, go to Safeway. If you want great customer service, try Target - they have amazing customer service - and plenty of Budweiser in a can - just for you. And don't bad mouth a great place because you both are needy, whining, complainers. I'd guess, the both of you have complaints no matter where you go. I can hear you both saying, "Don't go to the ocean, the waves are too loud and the water is too cold" Here's a little secret - no one wants to hear you complain about things that are incidental. Try and focus on the fact that it takes great effort to offer excellent craft beers in very cool setting, staffed by very knowledgeable beer people.

Disappoinment. I arrived at Post No Bills tonight at 10:15 pm, ready to buy a couple of bottles of wine. There were people at the bar, drinking, and the lights were on.

Yay! I thought. So glad that this place is here!

Then I tried to open the door... Locked. The people looked over, and made the throat slitting sign. I explained, I just want to buy a couple of bottles of wine. They laughed.

I'll take my business elsewhere, and send my friends elsewhere too.

Rude service is the worst turnoff. Especially if they're just being rude, and not even being service.

If you want to drink privately, do it in private.
Cassie
Horrible service, bartender disrespectful and threw coasters at my friends and I in a dismissing manner. Don't bother checking this place out that clearly doesn't appreciate business.

Craft Beer Lovers Unite!. **IGNORE THE GUY BELOW**
This place is great! They have solid line-up of beers on tap and a large selection of bottled beer at great prices. My friends and I t tried a beer that we ended up not liking and the owner bought us a round on the house! You can drink the bottled beer at the bar or take it home. BYOF (bring your own food) if you're hungry or order a pizza delivered. I highly recommend this place if you want to try some delicious, hard to find micro-brews in a relaxed friendly environment.
