While waiting on an appointment for my granddaughters to get finished, my daughter and I decided to get some lunch and stopped at Erik's deli. My daughter said she had been here before and it was a good place to dine. We walked in and the place was spacious and open. See the photos below. There is ample Room for anyone who is handicapped and in a wheelchair or walker, with handicap parking out front. Although parking is streetside, we found no trouble parking.
We each ordered a combo meal which included sandwich and soup or a salad. We opted for the soup, clam chowder, it ended up being delicious-I'm very picky about clam chowder.
Very good sandwiches, good chili and okay soup. Great service, food arrived quickly, reasonable prices, plenty of parking.
The staff here are what makes this restaurant a 5-star in my opinion. They are friendly, courteous, polite and accomodating. My ordered an Abbotts Habit Sandwich which normally consists of roast beef, swiss, sauce, and veggies. The veggies were mushrooms, sprouts, tomato, red onion. My son didn't realize the sandwich came with all the veggies when he ordered his sandwich. Originally he told the man at the counter not to put mushrooms in his sandwich. The guy who made the sandwich was happy to remake my son's sandwich without the veggies. Which was very kind sice it was our mistake.
Excellent soup & sandwich! Service was above par as well as the food.
We will return if ever in the area again.

Very clean and appealing location from the inside and outside. Superb customer service from all employees. Attentive and friendly cashier. Prompt delivery of food. Farmer's Market sandwich and Chicken Vegetable soup were exellent. Will come back to this location.
So yummy!!!! Chicken pesto sandwich was so amazing I forgot to take a pic before I ate 70% of it lol.
I eat at this Erik's as often as I can - in addition to loving their sandwiches and a nice bowl of hot soup when the fog rolls in, one of my favorite things about eating here is the terrific ambiance...I love all the windows that let the daylight in.
If you're in the area, this Erik's DeliCafe is the place to grab lunch (or the occasional dinner).
Sure it's a chain, but the sandwiches I had here were the best I've had in years. On the East Coast I've missed that crunch you get from sprouts, and sampled a couple of the options here. Delicious! Tyler is funny and attentive and cool; love the stage bows.
Update: down to 4 stars. Have returned multiple times. Since, food is still great, but the kids who work there definitely need some customer service training.
First review: 5 star: The employees were young and gossiping, but the place was completely empty and it was clean so I guess I would have been doing the same thing. The sandwich was fresh and amazing. They forgot our soup but quickly served it once we brought it to their attention. I like the Mason jars for in house fountain drinks. Perfect lunch spot. Will return.

Tyler and Cassie rocked my G-D socks off with their amazing customer service and TOP TIER food. This place is effing amazing. And if any management reads this, please give Tyler and Cassie a raise for the best tomato bisque I’ve had in my life.
A superb deli with some of the most tastiest creations. There sauce or should i say goo, is what makes the sandwich. A not so chain restaurant feel to it. And has just the right amount of employees to help get you your yummy sandwiches. Oh yeah great soup too.
We ordered Erik's Deli for a last minute staff lunch, it was a large catering order- and they made it work. They were friendly, helped me to the car, had my order ready quick and on time. We will order from them again! The sandwiches and salads were fresh and delicious!
