I ordered the lobster roll online for a dinner pickup. I arrived early, parking wasn't terrible. My food came out almost right on time (if not on time). They were not busy at 6:00p.m. I ordered water and white wine and took my food to the beach lookout. I saw a comment or two about the bread not being soft but mine was really soft. Similar to a less garlicky Texas toast bread. It came with a side of butter and I got a side of chips. It was really filling though some of it might be the bread. For $42 (lobster roll only) I thought it to be a little expensive considering full entree meals run you that other places but it was an experience, somewhere new, hadn't had a lobster roll before, and it was good so I'm not too mad at the price. I enjoyed my wine, my lobster and my view. I'd definitely go back and try other menu items.
It was delicious, the only thing that would’ve made it better was the bread. It was on the dry side, I prefer softer bread with my lobster rolls like a garlic lightly toasted bread. For anyone wanting to know the price range my lobster roll was $38 today but it depends on the day, most menu items are around the $20 range.
I seen all of the good and bad reviews but everyone seemed to love the lobster roll so that’s what I got. We sat there for maybe 5 minutes and it was out. Food was amazing. I paid 45$ for my lobster roll, bag of chips, and a drink. Very expensive but who cares when ur at the beach. Highly recommend.
Adequate but pricey food. Central but boring location. Oysters were good and the lobster grilled cheese was good! Skip the tacos.
If you want it fresh, you can’t go wrong with shrimp shack. They have the best stuff for the area. If you want the best on 30A try goat feathers. That’s my preference for our seafood gumbo if we didn’t catch all that we needed that day to make our own.
