We ordered a west Caribbean bowl, and Caribbean fries. The fries were good and spicy (I like spicy) but couldn’t see much difference from other fries 🤔 The west Caribbean bowl with tofu was delicious. I was a little apprehensive after reading other reviews, but I liked it. We asked the server for veg options but he wasn’t helpful at all. He himself was going through the whole menu to identify veg options along with us 😆

I was on a trip to Seattle when a family member recommended this place. I rarely eat pork, but this was recommended, so hey, love a little. The pork sandwich was unbelievable. So good. The people who work there were so helpful and friendly. The price was right and I'm looking forward to going back.

Swung by Paseo for a quick lunch. We shared: -carribean roast $12.95: flavors were there, could use more meat -carribean fries $6: mayo was good, and they give A LOT of fries Food did take a long time to come out. Even when I grabbed our food, the sandwich was only lukewarm, when I was expecting it to be pretty hot. Fries were hot. They have some seating inside and outside. Street parking is hit or miss. Luckily we were able to find parking right outside.

Go eat now!! Haha. It is so good. We got the smokin' thighs, famous Caribbean smoke, and ham and cheese. We all had a little bit of each and my GOODNESS! All of them were amazing. This is definitely NOT an eat and drive type sammy. You'll want to sit and savor. The indoor and outdoor seating at Freemont Paseo made for ample options/space to do so. The service was awesome. We ordered curbside, and it was completed timely. Thank you, Paseo!

Paseo or Un Bien seems to be a question I get asked. They both have very similar menu and feel ( hole in the wall), difficult parking. Personally, I like Un Bien a bit better. The sandwich is really hard to eat, not a bad thing cause it is loaded with meat but also grease. The meat will fall out from the sandwich. You order up front, pick up your food when they call your name, bus your own tables kind of place. I wouldn't sit inside cause it is warm even with the door open ( probably cause of the open kitchen) . There is 3 tables under fake flowers and one sidewalk table for outdoor seating.

We got 3 sandwiches, fries, 3 drinks, and salsa with chips. Everything was delicious! I got the cod sandwich and the guava club soda! It was perfectly refreshing for a hot day! Loved their space too! Super chill but cute and fun!

I still dream about the sandwich I had at this beautiful establishment 7 years ago, and yesterday I was able to reconfirm that it is indeed one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had (and as a Chicagoan, that’s saying a lot). Get the #1, you won’t regret it.

Came in recently for my birthday sandwich and noted they're using a new bread. It had been a while since I'd ordered a sandwich as the last few times I've been I've gone the bowl route. This bread is far denser than I remember which makes it difficult to eat and not very enjoyable. It's too rigid so all the insides end up on the outside. I don't think I'll get a sandwich again. I also find dining in sort of annoying. Depending on the day they'll either bring your food out to your table or just call your name/order out for you to pick up at the counter. I don't like the inconsistency, nor do I like making multiple trips back and forth to get my order from the counter inside to my outside table. What am I tipping for again?? It's certainly not service. I'll come back while the West Caribbean Bowl remains delicious, but Paseo's on warning with me...

This is the place you would write home to your mama about! We got the infamous pork sandwich, roasted corn, tostones and plate with rice, beans and pork. The sandwich was perfect! The bread was the perfect vessel to hold the fillings of caramelized onions, jalapenos and juicy pork. That bread didn't get soggy. We got one roasted corn to share, but once I took the first bite, I told my friend she needed to have her own. As a woman of Caribbean descent, my friend was immediately taken back to her mother's/grandmother's cooking at the first bite.

We ordered off doordash and received the wrong order. We reordered through the app and called the restaurant to make sure we get the right order and they let us know that our dasher grabbed the wrong bag. When we received our reorder, they included the original bag that the dasher was initially supposed to grab. So we got twice the food, and obviously were so happy. The food was amazing, so flavorful and still hot despite being delivered 30 mins after being picked up. The customer service and food are wonderful! Thanks for everything!

Well, I was there on a Monday on a wet day so there was nobody there. I had the first item on the menu, the roasted pork sandwich. This places has the perfect combination of flavors with the roil, the tender pork and the sauce. There can be a line 15 minutes long sometimes.

Delicious sandwiches! Spicy means spicy here. Lots of vegan/veg options and great meats as well. Limited but excellent alcoholic bevvy selection. Small dining room, seems like they do a lot of takeout. Awesome & would recommend.

Amazing sandwiches! This place is famous for a reason! The #1 sandwich was delicious at a decent price. Seating indoors is sparse and it's hot but there's seating outside too. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I highly recommend you stop by here and grab a bite if you're in Seattle!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Also one of the messiest, but I don't mind the mess when it tastes that good! Great portions of the meat as well!

Ordered the #1 and #2 along with tostones. Both sandwiches were juicy and full of flavor. We love banana peppers ,so we enjoyed the #2 a little better. The tostones were crisp and salty and paired well with the chipotle aioli.
