Came here for dinner with mother and wife on a Saturday night.
We were really impressed by the quality of the dishes here, even though they were a bit in the pricey.
We ordered crab cakes, fried oysters, and mussels for appetizers. We really loved the oysters if that is your thing. But the grilled swordfish was the best! It was cooked perfectly and the meat was actually a lot tender than I expected: I would highly recommend the swordfish! We also ordered the grilled scallops which were super yummy too!
Overall it is a great place for a special occasion!
Was expecting more
Food: The clams were amazing!!! I would only get back because of the clams, so fresh! the rest of the food was just okay (salmon was dry, friends did not provide good feedback about the fish and chips and rest of the plates)
Service: The host was so nice and did the best to accommodate us. The waitress looked like he did not eanted to be there and was a little annoyed when I mentioned some food restrictions in my diet. Either way, a 20% service was charged no matter what
Ambience. We sat down inside, which looked like any other restaurant. However, outside, they have a place by the water, really pretty for early dinner.
It's just an okay place for everything except for the amazing clams
Such a fun little place. There were only 2 of us but we wanted to sit outside, so they put us at a communal fire pit table with another group of people, but it wasn’t too crowded. They sat on one end and we sat on the other. The food itself was really yummy- highly recommend the spicy grab chowder ! Jason was our waiter and he was really knowledgeable of the menu and had several suggestions. He was really great. It was a little pricey- but overall you’re paying for the experience of being on the water.
What I appreciate most about this place besides how stellar the food was, is their transparency about the service fee. There is a short description about it at the bottom of the menu, but when you take a look at their website they describe more about where the service charge goes, and the commission/hourly rate for their employees. They don’t pressure you to tip, because the employees are pretty well compensated for their jobs. They do leave a disclaimer that if you feel the service wasn’t worth the 20% service fee that they can reduce or remove it from your check, but we were very impressed with our server Dante, and how knowledgeable he was so we didn’t find it necessary to ask for them to remove the fee. We went with the Caesar salad and some oysters for our appetizer, I’m not super knowledgeable about different types of Oysters so Dante recommended some different types for me to try. For our main course I got the seafood pasta which had the perfect variety and amount of seafood, and my husband got the Ribeye steak, which was immaculately cooked including the sear on the outside. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
A great place for a stop while visiting the piers in Seattle. We chose Elliott’s specifically for the oysters and the did not disappoint. We had a smaller dozen. The waitress and oyster chef were so nice in inquiring about what we liked in an oyster and specifically gave us small oysters of a good salinity. The atmosphere is great. They include a 20% service charge and they are very transparent about this and who it goes to. The hamachi pastrami was simply phenomenal. We will be back.
Great atmosphere by the water. Fantastic service! Seafood pasta was very good, as well as the salmon, spicy crab and corn chowder. Also had some pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert that was good. Not fond of their clam chowder. Be prepared as it is somewhat pricey.
I would recommend booking it seemed very busy when we visited. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service here. Our waiter seemed very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The food was super fresh and delicious and cooked to perfection, we had been craving seafood for weeks beforehand and this definitely scratched that itch. We had six kinds of oyster with a delectable coriander dressing, fish tacos and the alasken golden King crab. I could not fault a single thing and we sat on the deck in the shade on a perfect sunny day with a fabulous view of the water and enjoyed every minute of it.
Although I enjoy eating oysters, I don’t know much about them. What I do know is these were FANTASTIC! So, so fresh + love the side sauces. I wasn’t wild about the True Cod and chips, they were both a bit dry, but the oysters were great enough to go for!
The outdoor seating view is epic!!! Being able to look at the sea, ships, and birds with having seafood is such a blessing experience.
The clam chowder is fine. Not very creamy with many potato cubes.
Oysters are fine, too. I tried three different oysters and cannot tell the difference.
Grilled salmon came out first time raw, so they redo it. The second time it was perfect. The color, charred surface, flavor, and English peas are delicious, too.
Great oysters, service, and atmosphere. Honestly, the best thing we ate were the muscles. Easily the best I've ever eaten. I would return just for that.
The only reason I knock off a star is for the 20% added fee. The restaurant automatically adds a service fee to your check and then our waiter asked for an additional tip given that the fee does not 100% go to them. This caused us to spend probably $25 more than we would have anywhere else on a nice dinner out.
Wonderful seafood dinner by the water with views of the sound, ferries, and sunset. Ordered the Kumamoto oyster, mussels and crab cakes as starters. Followed by the grilled prawns, swordfish and scallops as entrees. Oysters were so good and especially liked the grilled prawns. Highly recommended~
We were on a sister birthday trip. This was a day lunch and the food was exceptional. We had oysters, spicy shrimp, both salads and the mango cheesecake they were all so good. Our waiter was Joshua and he really made our experience quite memorable, thank you Joshua! They were a bit busy but we were seated fast and we weren't in a hurry. Well worth it ☺️👍🏽
We loved this place. The ambiance was nice, and it definitely helped that it was an absolute perfect day in Seattle. Almost 80° and not a cloud in the sky. We dont know much about oysters, but we sure enjoyed the dozen we ate🤣.
Been awhile since I've been here and was excited to stop back in. First off, Joshua is the best waiter I've ever had and don't say that lightly. I was waiting for a couple others in my party and he took excellent care of me. Walked me through the Oyster menu and made perfect recommendations. Our group got crab cakes, fried oysters, raw oysters, scallops, halibut, and chowder. It was all delicious but the Oyster sampler really stood out for me. The accompaniments were incredible and had the best flavors I've been in a long time. Yes, this place is spendy but I still recommend it for a special night. From the service to the food to the ambiance, it's all top notch. Excited to come back!
Great oyster bar and restaurant. They have a really good selection of west coast oysters. I recommend the Fanny bay and Barron point. For entree I had the king salmon and it was cooked to perfection. The spicy crab chowder was very good also. The crab cake is also one of the best I tried.
In my personal opinion, I think the best oysters I've ever had was at Elliot's Oyster House. They have a wide array to choose from. If you're not too sure what you want, don't be afraid to ask your waiter. Our waiter was fantastic and chose a great selection for us ranging for salty to creamy. I didn't even know oysters could taste creamy! My friends and I only got the oysters, but we'll definitely have to come back to try the food.
We went in without a reservation, but we didn't have to wait too long. We were able to spend the 20 minute wait by watching the sunset and ferris wheel. Elliot's has a perfect view of the ocean, and there's a secluded deck area behind the restaurant with tables to pass the time.
Had the dungeness crab which was really good. The service was great. I didn't love the cocktails on the menu. The creme brulé was really delish, highly recommend.. I had vanilla cheesecake which was just OK I'd say. Friends loved the oysters..I'm not a oyster eater so can't comment on that.
