Japonessa Sushi Cocina - Seattle - Photo album

The best experience with sushi I have ever been to, and I look forward to coming back. It was great. The fish was so fresh the chiefs were all of the right people for the job! The people bringing the food and drinks don’t know much it’s the waitress’s and waiters who know the go to things!! Just ama
Pretty fresh sashimi and rolls with decent size cuts. The service was really good. The prices are high but we happened to be here during happy hour after visiting the Seattle Art Museum across the street. There was no wait when we arrived but the large space filled up pretty quick. I would dine here
Really good sushi experience. Also loved the non-sushi plates like the garlic short rib and the ginger chicken. Also had very good old fashioneds. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend this spot
Sunday open at 12:00 sharp. Happy hour until before 5pm. It s a must when come to nearby Pike place Seattle. Waiter and waitress here are very neat and handsome/beautiful. Food are presented and taste excellent.
Chris and Peter provided amazing service! I enjoyed the Basil Bees Cocktail made with Nikki Gin, honey, lemon and fresh basil. It was amazing and paired well with my spicy tuna roll. A great spot and stellar staff! Thanks for the exceptional experience; will enjoy again!
The highest selection and grade of yellowtail (hamachi) I have found in Seattle. You can't go wrong with any of the rolls on the menu. This place has been great for any occasion.
Incredible sushi- ordered the Tres Diablos and Spanish Lover rolls and was very impressed, even taking into account Seattle’s already high standard of seafood quality. Drinks were reasonably priced and complemented the food flawlessly. Atmosphere was friendly and accommodating- fancy enough to dress
Excellent. Very busy , and rightly so. Food is amazing. Staff are very attentive and very likeable with great knowledge of their menu. Location is excellent (downtown Seattle). Would highly recommend & will be back to sample more.
Came to visit seattle and spotted this location walking around Pike. The food was really good. I ordered their margarita and (I believe it was called) the Mexican roll. It did not disappoint. It was fresh and very delicious, and the next time we come back to visit Seattle, we are making a stop here
Great spot in downtown Seattle for Sushi. Happy Hour on a Saturday was an awesome surprise and we took full advantage. We made a reservation and glad we did because the place was packed at 2pm on a Saturday. Would definitely go back next time we’re in Seattle.
I try to get sushi just about every time I’m in Seattle and this restaurant was so good to me that I keep coming back. This time around I grabbed some edamame, takoyaki, and the matador before my flight. I’ve never had filet on sushi before and had to try it and it was fantastic! The edamame was eda
I was happy to find a quick and more affordable area for sushi and sashimi in the area. The specialty rolls were delightful - eel, spicy salmon, fatty tuna, and the sashimi selection of eel, surf clam, and octopus was more than enough for us
I love their happy hour menu. They have lots of options to choose. The service is always nice and friendly. The food is good, it is fresh and delicious
I am a regular here and totally love it. I always order the ginger chicken, calamari apart from the sushi rolls. I have almost tried every one of them. Highly recommend! Location is a plus, in the heart of downtown and even can see the Seattle wheel from the tables. This time went for dinner here wi
Been here a few times now, good sushi. Tried their spicy tuna roll and the veggie roll with mango sauce, both of them were good. The spicy tuna roll is must try, it’s not too spicy but has so many dimensions to it! The tofu pot was delicious too. If you are looking for something to drink try their
The Food wasn't really good, we eat much better than this Sushi before . We had much higher expectations. It's not really recommendable.
Party of 2 and we decided on 2 rolls (Madrid moon and scorpio sting) with omakase; the server recommended the 50 PC based on how hungry we said we were and it was flawless fish cuts with the perfect amount of food. Our cocktails Sake Sangria and Boy Scout were excellent as well.
Best sushi I have ever had! The Latin spin this restaurant has sets thier sushi apart. At other restaurants I find myself asking for the spicy options and not tasting the spice. Japonessa brings it! If that isn't your thing, they have plenty of non spicy options as well. The cheesecake was also so F
