Buongiorno!! My fiance and I are in Seattle, WA for the 2023 Italian Festival. To authenticate our visit even more, we chose this restaurant for dinner Saturday evening. Words cannot adequately describe our experience, but if taste buds could talk!!!! Casual-formal atmosphere, ambient lighting, decent noise level for how >busy< they were, and, again, the food!!!! Each of the Italian food names had descriptions in English, and the chef did not disappoint! This is definitely going to be a repeat dining experience. The owner, his staff, and the entire restaurant are a shining star removed from the Italian homeland, and reservations are highly encouraged. Ciao!!!

Great food! Lasagna had just the right ratio of sauce, meat, noodles, and cheese. I was pleased to find the sauce prepared traditionally with carrots in it, which gave it great flavor. My wife very much enjoyed the chicken picatta - tender and flavorful. Service was prompt and friendly, my only criticism is my first serving of wine was served in a dirty glass. Comfortable seating in the covered area outside.

There's so many fancy Italian places around Seattle that charge 25 dollars for pasta and 45 dollars for entrees, many of them great, honestly. But finding a neighborhood Italian eatery with delicious dishes at a softer price point can be a challenge. Fortunately for those near Belltown, La Vita E Bella does a fantastic job at this. Their food is fantastic, the service is fantastic, and the ambience is too, whether you're dining inside or outside (with heaters in the winter). We've had a lot of success with walk-ins, but you may want to make reservations just to be sure.

An authentic Italian restaurant at the heart of Belltown, in business for many many years. My all time favorite is Tomato and Leak Pasta. It is just fantastic. Very reasonable inexpensive price, especially if you join for lunch!! Nice seating space outside along the street to enjoy some European flair.

Wow! I was looking for a nice, local place to host my family and I for a graduation dinner. I called the day before, booked for 9 effortlessly, and came in to find a welcoming staff and environment. Everything we tried was amazing! Authentic food, handmade pasta, fresh bruschetta. Flawless!

We loved La Vita E Bella! The staff, the food, the feel, everything was at its best. We entered with a list of diet restrictions, but the staff was super accommodating! After exploring all their vegetarian, no onion, no garlic, Jain food options, we tried their Penne Al Pesto and lemon Ripieno. Loved the flavors! The service was quick too. We're definitely gonna try their other Jain option in our next visit!

Amazing food with a surprisingly friendly price. This is the first time I've had gnocchi in red sauce but I loved it. The desert was also so flavorful, you definitely shouldn't miss it. The only thing that slightly bothered us: we went on Christmas with a reservation knowing most of the restaurants would be closed. But people just didn't plan ahead and we ended up being surrounded by people standing next to us waiting for a table. It was stressful.

A very authentic Italian experience, with very good food. I would eat here again everything is awesome. The only ding on their review is the cleanliness of the restaurant. I'm sure everything is ok but water spots on glasses plus a discarded crouton on the floor under my table from a previous cover, shows that there could be room for improvements here. I will still eat here again just maybe up the standards of your cleaning.

Great Italian Restaurant in the Belltown Court Apartment Block on 1st Avenue we stayed in. There is an internal courtyard. garden within the block plus pool and gym. Good position in town for sightseeing.

Our group of six stopped in after our monthly escape room. We got there about 15 minutes early, and as we waited outside they let us in about 5 minutes early and got us water which was nice. The service pace reminded my husband and I of Europe where you are given time to enjoy your food and nit rush. We started with the Piatto misto plate of sliced meats, some cheese, pickled artichoke and seasonal greens. Gaberoni Cipolla, shrimp and roasted peppers, this dish had a lot of flavor would recommend starting with this if you like shrimp. The salad we tried was the Braccio Di Ferro, spinach with walnuts and gorgonzola tossed in extra virgin olive oil, while normally a favorite it had salt o. It, wasn't like the spinach was in salt water more like actual salt. If it was just added salt I would recommend hold the salt. Vitallo Portofino, got a very good down to the last bite. I am not a fan of Veal so didn't try it. Crepes tried Funghi Salsiccia mushrooms and Italian sausage, had a good flavor reminded us of biscuits and gravy. Prosciutto crepe in a creamy Parmigiano sauce was delicious flavorful and light. A crepe and salad would be a perfect amount or appetizer both was a bit much even sharing. My husband and a friend had the fettuccine tartufo, italian sausage, mushrooms cream sauce with truffle oil. We both liked the flavor and while the noodles seemed different my husband ate his portion. Our friend on the other hand couldn't do it and asked to trade to what his wife had which was the spaghetti carbonora which they both enjoyed. For dessert yes we had dessert, I had the custard with a burnt sugar topping, no it wasn't a brulle. It was good and light. The tiramisu was tried and considered good. We had an enjoyable dinner the staff are all super nice and accommodating.

The ambiance is romantic, but that's ok for dinner with our son. We started with amazing bruschetta, then my wife and I both ordered the special, she had the tortellini and shrimp, that was accompanied by a zesty fresh tomato sauce with a slight red pepper kick to it. I was torn between my two favorites of chicken picatta and chicken Marsala, and with the waitress's nod to try the Marsala I was floored with how rich and creamy of a Marsala sauce that chef Maria concocted. The combination of a rich creamy sauce and delicately cooked chicken was perfection. The fresh veggies didn't disappoint either. Our son had the sausage and mushroom in cream sauce, no pictured and I got a taste of it and wow the flavors didn't disappoint.

Delicious Italian place that executes their dishes beautifully. Came here for dinner and had the meatball appetizer, mushroom pasta, and a pizza: all of which were delicious. The pasta had a good flavor and springy texture while the pizza had that firebrick oven char. Everything was a great quantity for a good price. Will recommend and return.

Unpretentious authentic Italian restaurant. It's probably not changed much in the last thirty or so years. Some regular and some unfamiliar options for main courses. Good service and it was swift but not rushed. Good flavours too. A little grubby and down market but very very tasty.

Highly recommend this spot - cozy location with an authentic environment, but still upscale and with all around good taste. The bus girl truly made our experience - she was helping the wait staff during a busy evening and was so cheery, polite, and positive. Wish I could have gotten her name - she’s the daughter of an employee that’s been at the restaurant for 18+ years - someone get that girl a raise! Pizza and pasta were both great - would recommend if you are swinging through the area or even for locals - you can tell it’s a good local spot.
