Weather it's stoping to pick up fresh oysters to cook over a fire top grate or relaxing in the restaurant and bars throughout the western side of Washington Taylor Shellfish never disappoints. Also ask for an oyster shooter with tequila, it really gets the day going great thanks sqaw. truly fresh and amazing.

Visited the processing plant after speaking with Megan a lovely young lady at Xinhs restaurant. We was priveledged to be able to have a tour without booking. Megan was the person who took us around the plant and explained the various process that Taylors shellfish go through before they arrive on the table. Very interesting to go in and see and made better by someone who was passionate about her job and what the company does.

A visit to Anacortes wouldn't be complete without a run out to Taylor's for oysters, clams & mussels.

This was my first time trying a lot of this seafood, and everyone at Taylor Shellfish was so helpful in picking what to eat and how to eat it. Cracking into the crab was such an exciting experience! Everything we had was perfectly seasoned, and complimented the natural flavors that came through. You could tell all the food was fresh and guaranteed to be of good quality.

Wonderful spot that was the perfect stop for a birthday lunch for our father. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff there was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and we look forward to coming back next time we’re in town.

Pleasantly surprised!! After hearing about this place for quite some time, my wife and I finally decided to go and I have to tell you it was absolutely amazing watching the oysters get pulled straight from the bay in front of us while enjoying a dozen ourselves. We also had the charcuterie board with pickled herring and smoked tuna. Very tasty!

This was our first spot when we got to Seattle and it did not disappoint. After a 3 hour drive, it was nice to be immediately seated during dinner service and the food came out very quickly after placing our orders. We started with some oysters and then tried their geoduck sashimi which was very fresh. Followed by the Caesar salad with anchovies, one thing that I should point out was the excessive amount of croutons that was in it but otherwise an amazing salad. The chowder is undoubtedly my star of the dinner. Possibly even dethroning New Englands, maybe. It was so good and definitely one of the more memorable dishes I had my whole trip. The waitress did forget to place our order for the Dungeoness crab but when she realized, immediately corrected that and got it to our table with 10-15 minutes, which was great appreciated. 10/5 stars for them also not charging us for it due to the mistake. All in all, it was a great experience and we even went back the following afternoon for happy hour and more chowder. Don’t hesitate and give this place a try, it will not disappoint!

I wanted to try geoduck before leaving so we came here. We got oysters and geoduck sashimi. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Geoduck was decent, I wished we had more on the plate for the price. Restaurant isn’t big but we got seating for our small group. Prices were a little expensive. Service was fine. Our waiter was great:

It’s a Seattle classic. I usually take family to try it when they’re in town. Chowder and clams are the basics to get. It can get busy so try the weekdays for better/faster service. Shigoku > Olympia and they cost the same. FYI there’s a automatic 19% gratuity, but it’s nice you can pay using your phone/receipt from the Open table app.

Checked out a bunch of seafood restaurants when we traveled to Seattle and this one was the best that I found! The Salish Sampler is Pricey but Worthy! It pretty much included all the signature items you need to check out! The Geoduck sashimi is always my favorite, and their cut was pretty thick so it’s extra tasty! All the oysters were super fresh as you can see the little farm right in front of you! Also ordered Manila clam and couple other things, and they’re just all outstanding! But also because how popular they are, you might have to wait to get yourself a table..

I dropped by Taylor Shellfish after a visit to Virginia Mason and then Starbucks Reserve, which is very close by. They appear to mainly sell shell fish, but also have a small lunch and dinner menu and appear to get really busy, the staff was very friendly and service was excellent. I ordered the chowder and the tuna, both were amazing and I could eat them every day. The tuna had a sweet mango sauce and salt, which made the tuna even more tasty. They also serve wine, but I just opted for water. The prices are very fair and I left full. I will go back and try the other locations.
