Amazing shop! Great location, service was awesome and the ice cream sundaes were ridiculously good! Highly recommend!
Happened upon this cute shop while on the way to SAM with my best friend. Such a great and welcoming environment and I loved the retro feel. We both had ice cream cocktails. I had Gran Gran's Cocoa and my friend had the Frangelico Noisette Liqueur. Both were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back for more! Had a great chat with the owner too.

This place is a dream! The staff are friendly and sweet to children. The menu has variety and all of our 5 items were as tasty as they were adorable! This will be our new family sweet stop!
The staff is friendly and the place has an old fountain, but everything about the menu has a modern flair. Very impressive place. Pike Place Market needed something like this. In peak ice cream season, they will have to scoop like speed demons.
I recently hosted a bridal shower here and the owner, Colleen is AMAZING! She was amazing at helping prepare and even personally took care of us when it came to party time. This place is not only charming and cute but has amazing sundaes and fantastic service! I highly recommend!
Being an ice cream maven ( which is Jewish for an"expert") and having vast experience in the ice cream world ( I drove an ice cream truck in college) Shug's is like a 10 star place. First of all the ice cream is DELICIOUS! Second of all the people who work there are smart and professional and at the top of the ladder for courtesy. And finally if you want to have a little party there with like 20 of your best friends they can take care of you to the max. The ice cream is so good I had 2 different dishes and felt quite healthy and sane.
The ice cream is great but the customer service is even better. You should definitely try this place!

We went to Shug's for the first time to celebrate my daughter's 6th birthday. They went above and beyond to make her feel extra special including playing the Trolls soundtrack which is her favorite. Highly recommend this adorable sweet shop.
Had the affogato with Frangelica (and a little Kalhua by mistake) on chocolate truffle ice cream. Outstanding! Great service at the counter also.

I hired Shug's ice cream cart for my wedding and it was the most incredible experience. First of all, the owners of this establishment Colleen and Paul are the kindest people. They were such a joy to work with and have the most amazing life story; they have hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro! They have the most beautiful ice cream cart, in this gorgeous mint green color and they themselves are the ones that served the ice cream at our wedding, which made it all the more special! We got to do an ice cream tasting, which was such a blast and go to the shop while it was closed. They even served us Prosecco to sip on while we tried the various flavors. In the end we got to choose something like 6 flavors for the ice cream cart, so there was a lot of variety. They also offer add ons like cones and toppings if you choose to have those extras at your event. We feel so grateful to have been able to meet and work with Colleen & Paul. Can't wait to visit the shop soon and check out their new location in West Seattle!
Highly recommend!!! My visit to Shug’s Soda Fountain & Ice Cream was fantastic! I tried the S’mores Sundae with Earl Grey and Cherry Amaretto ice cream - an amazing blend of classic and unique flavors. The Earl Grey added a refreshing touch, while the Cherry Amaretto was sweet and rich. Along with great service and a cozy atmosphere, Shug’s provided a memorable ice cream experience. Definitely a five-star treat!

Yummy icecream !! They have lots of varieties and flavors. The waffle cone is delicious and crispy. Loved the chocolate truffle which I purchased on a late Saturday night. Friendly, kind and welcoming staffs 😍 such kind ppl working in this shop. Highly recommended for delicious and cost worthy icecream 😋👍🏽.
Amazing little ice cream store. I got the brownie sundae with PB cup and cookies and cream ice cream. Highly recommend and great atmosphere.
Got a Prosecco float and it was very good. I prefer this to ice cream having alcohol. If you do not like wine, then select something else from the menu. Everything on the menu are good. If your a wine lover, especially Prosecco, got to give this a try. The service was great! They also have affogato!
This is a great little ice cream spot in downtown Seattle. Recommend trying the orange sickle if you stop in..
Stopped in for a quick couple of sodas on a hot day. Got a root beer and a cola (both refreshing). Had a great vibe inside. Saw a lot of people getting ice cream that looked REALLY good. The wait for my drinks was a little long, but they were obviously very busy, so it didn’t bother me that much. I’ll be back to try more of the main menu!
HUGE scoops of fresh-made and very delicious and decadent ice cream. Plus, shakes, malts, sundaes, etc. they even have NY egg cream if that’s your fancy.
Ample seating, private room available for groups and a 6-person counter/bar.
Friendly staff and great value for a sweet treat. Highly recommend!!!

The sherbet!!! 🤤 I had the raspberry lemonade and will be going back for the cucumber lime! Very nice girls working there. Oh also the vanilla soda was AMAZING!
Super fun ice cream shop with delicious flavors to choose from. We got the s'mores sundae and the worker behind the counter came out to fire it up in front of us. Fun experience that my girls loved! The shop was clean and there was free self-serve water. Love the old-style feel with the bar you can sit at.
Shug's is a nice little ice cream parlor on 1st Ave close to Pike Place. The line can get pretty long because a little after we ordered, the line reached out the door.
We got the brownie sundae with pecan praline ice cream. The ice cream was really good but there wasn't enough brownie. Definitely need to go again to try their creamsicle floats!
Best of the best! I’ve never tasted such an amazing Soda Drink in my life. The portions are huge and the price is good. I really like the Old School design of the cafe. You can take cool photos and spent a great time with your friends there!
Very cute place! Not a lot of AC. Back room has more room for bigger groups and a fan which helped. Fun dessert options, especially the boozy ones. Okay prices for a touristy area. It was more fun than overall delicious- the taste of everything our group had wasn't particularly amazing but the staff (only 2??!! They powered through!) Did their best. Setup was very cute. We weren't totally sure about ordering or when to get our stuff so make sure to stay close while waiting for your order. Cute and might come again.
A brownie sundae and a smore! So the s'mores weren't as good as we imagined and the brownie wasn't hot (not sure if that's something one can request, you can try, if you prefer it that way) but the ice cream was delish. Though, 2 scoops just became too much for us to finish after lunch. So just keep in mind their scoops are pretty big and order accordingly. Will definitely go there again but for a single scoop this time 😂
We used Shug's ice cream cart for our wedding last weekend and are so happy we did!! The ice cream was amazing and the cart was such a cute touch. They have so many different flavors to choose from but Colleen was so helpful in helping us narrow down the flavors. We got so many compliments on how great everything was and we would recommend them to anyone!
