Disclaimer: I'm a foodie. Wow, I wasn't expecting this level of flavor, quality and presentation from a charitable organization. It was a phenomenal experience in terms of food and the US Bank volunteers serving the dinner were better than many "professional" servers. My husband attended as a donor but asked "when can we come back?"

The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was very friendly. I love the concept of all proceeds are reinvested in programs to apprentice students and rebuild lives.

The food is always excellent here. I highly suggest the house roasted turkey sandwich - especially if you’re pregnant like me but can’t have store bought turkey. The sandwich was insanely delicious! The service is always great too and I’m happy to give my business to a business that is doing amazing things for amazing people. We will be back more often!

We enjoyed a culinary delight at last night's Guest Chef Night! We're never a fun table to cater for as I am a celiac, my wife a vegan, and we brought along a lactose intolerant gluten free friend! That said, the kitchen was unbelievably kind and creative in re-imagining versions of our dishes. The food was lovely and we all had a fantastic time! Congratulations to all the graduates!

Great food! Eating a Fare Start meal helps people on so many levels, too. People wanting to get off the street and start a career learn skills, chefs and restaurants and wineries get a chance to do good in our community, and the people of Seattle get to eat a special dinner out while contributing to the lives of others. It's a win-win-win.

This was my first visit, we had a celebratory lunch to commemorate our first book being published! FareStart is a beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown with an equally beautiful cause. I had no idea until I asked my friend about it, and was amazed. The food was excellent- I had a roasted beet salad with orange, candied walnuts, field greens, and fresh chevre. It was delicious- large enough for a main, and excellent flavours. I shared an order of the truffle deviled eggs, and was amazed, they were terriffic. Lastly, I had the lavender begnets, which I will definitely be getting again! Absolutely superb food, and the staff were wonderful. Our server had a great sense of humor- when taking my friend's coffee order, she requested it be half-caffeine, half decaf, and he said 'I'll put the decaf on the bottom'. :D I can't say enough good things about our experience today, and I will make this my first choice for every fancy occasion in the future!

Nothing mind blowing but good food with a great cause! The fish and chips is pretty good! Oh and the fires with carrot-tomato sauce is awesome!

I love the ambiance and decor of this place. The tall ceilings combined with glass windows all around at this corner location opens up the place in a unique yet private way. Just to top that off, the food here is delicious. Every dish I ordered came just right as described. The dishes themselves are very common American dishes, but you can see and taste the detailed work that went into each plate.

Really delicious sandwiches, the spicy Nashville one was a favorite. Probably on the expensive side, but certainly worth contributing to their cause. In a nice area close to all Amazon buildings and beautiful Seattle downtown.

Great initiative to support homelessness and poverty. Food was nice, the chickpea fries with carrot ketchup were fantastic. Note that they don't serve alcohol during lunch service, only dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised with the recent menu and presentation. I have been coming here since they opened. Food has always been good, service friendly and ambience comfy. But his time the plates were impressive both in terms of visual pleasure and taste. Next time, got to try those cocktails.

Team lunches are a quarterly event for my team. For this quarter’s team lunch, our team chose FareStart to have the team lunch. I am aware of the positive impact FareStart is having on the community. We arrived on a rainy Wednesday for lunch. I opted to get a red wine and the impossible burger for my lunch with a tomato basil soup. The burger was served with some pickled onions and pickles on the side. The burger itself was juicy and delicious and the chipotle mayo style dressing on the bun was adequate for the size of the burger. The burger is definitely bigger than an 8oz burger and was filling. For dessert we opted for a seasonal mint pie which was a pie in the form of a burger. The ambience of the place is astounding and I will definitely come back or try the other FareStart restaurants in the Seattle area.

Nice restaurant for lunch. Food presentation is good. Supporting the cause is more of a reason for me to try this place. Come with a little bit more patience as staff are still training and learning.

The labor behind this restaurant is so noble. The fact that this nonprofit is behind changing the life of men and women who have come out of jail or such is just priceless. Please go to Farestart for a great meal and I can almost guarantee you'll leave with a smile on your face knowing you contribute a little bit towards the success of people not so privileged.s
