What can you say about Husky Deli. Classic West Seattle place. The young man who served us was more than enthusiastic about hooking us up with ice cream. Loved his job. I always encourage my girls to get a job there once they are of age. Loved them for years!

Thank you Husky Deli for helping to make our grad party on Friday June 16th a huge success and memorable event. Everyone was impressed with and enjoyed the food. Jack and his crew took great care of us and was spot on with amount of the food we needed. I will 100% recommend them to friends.

I've been coming here since before I could walk. I still drive down just for the root beer ice cream. I love this place!

So how many catering outfits will call you up to say,"You've ordered way too much food. You need to cut this order in half." That's what Jack did for me, and he was absolutely right and then some! Husky deli provided a lovely luncheon buffet for a memorial service reception for our family. Everything was delicious, AND they delivered around the Blue Angel bridge closure schedule. This place is the best!!

I’m here visiting form Los Angeles for the All Star game and found this eye catching deli in West Seattle. I tried the grilled chicken pesto, and it was perfection! They also have an ice cream shop with great selections, and samples!

Love this place. The staff are always super helpful and kind no matter how slammed they get, and boy howdy do they get SLAMMED. they offer an incredible variety of, well, evening. Their specialties are delicious hand crafted sandwiches, ice cream, candy counter, and import pantry goods. This is one of the few spots in the greater Seattle area where I can get a liverwurst sandwich, and a darn good one at that. Highly recommend you stop in and don't be daunted by the line, they work FAST!

I was so glad to visit and see that this place is still busy. Their hand spun shakes and personalized scooped cones are amazing. I miss the "banana split" flavor they had but was very excited to see that Swiss Chocolate Orange is still on the menu. Try a double scoop of Swiss Chocolate Orange with one scoop of coffee milkshake. Very yummy!

A long time jewel of the West Seattle Junction shopping area. The ice cream they make is delicious. I especially like the Kona Coco Rum. The deli is higher than others but their sandwiches are the bomb! Also, there is an assortment of dry goods available that are from around the globe and not sold at supermarket chains.

Wicked sandwiches, old school Grocery and fantastic ice cream make this a must visit. The turkey Swiss cheese and tomato on marble rye is a killer sandwich and they even offer half servings. Pick up a great tee and apron.

I wasn't planning on eating ice cream at 7:30am when I walked in but Jack, the owner, was so kind and genuine. I had never been to Husky Deli and he saw me looking around and offered me multiple samples and talked to me about their process. It was one of the best customer service experience I have ever had and I will definitely be back to support this local Seattle family business. Also, the ice cream is unmatched! Coffee Oreo is 10/10.

Been going here since I can remember. I usually just get ice cream, but I decided to get breakfast this morning and it was wonderful. The California Ave on sourdough was nice and tasty, and this weird little apple drink I got was delicious. Definite recommendation :)

I dare say this is the best dang ice cream in Seattle! Seattle has no shortage of great ice cream, but Husky Deli is at the top of my list ahead of the known greats. Horchata is my absolute favorite, but really can’t go wrong across their entire list. Past the ice cream, they are firing on all cylinders for breakfast and lunch fare as well, their sandwiches on focaccia are a delight. We love having Husky Deli in our neighborhood!!! You are the best!!

So many good choices. Great variety of different bakery breads. The Reuben on swirl rye- delicious. The avocado chicken on focaccia. Extra tasty. Also, there's ice cream that I believe they make there. If you're visiting West Seattle, don't pass this one by.

Call 15 minutes ahead to order a grilled sandwich on fresh focaccia. Jacks special and London Burning (hot peppers and roast beef FTW) are my go-tos. Good selection of edible gifts and pantry items. Ice cream is excellent (both by the pint or in a waffle cone). Enjoy the best of the west.

These guys had surprisingly good ice cream for a random deli. It's been years since I've went, but I remember they had some trademark flavor that I really liked (probably called the Husky, or something). Overall, would recommend giving a look, even though most people may not find themselves in West Seattle often.

I visited Husky Deli on a quiet Sunday morning and I was impressed with the selection and service. The space has a lot of things to choose from. It’s almost overwhelming seeing all of the different things in the store. As you enter there are a bunch of ice creams to choose from. There is a deli counter on the right where you can order cuts of meat or meals. There are chocolates and candies to choose from in other cases too. Throughout the store there are a lot of European foods to buy. A kind employee asked if we needed any help finding anything and while we didn’t at the time, she exuded kindness and hospitality. While I didn’t buy any of the foods on the shelves, I got an ice cream cone with a scoop of Raspberry Decadence – chocolate ice cream with raspberry ribbons. The ice cream was sumptuous and delicious. Husky Deli a West Seattle institution and I hope to return.

This place is great, I stopped here for ice cream and came back the same day to take a look at their other stuff and get a few pints to go. They have tons of flavors which you can see in some of the photos. The ice cream line was long (10 or so people) both times but it moves pretty quick. We also got some cheese from the deli and some dry goods. They have lots of interesting dry goods like pasta and jams and syrups and sodas and sweets. It’s a good place to get some ice cream or a sandwich or some specialty items. They’ve got local products too like Seattle chocolates and market spice. It’s a delightful little shop that I will certainly be coming back to, even though it’s out of my way. Parking was easy but I got lucky (it’s 2hr street parking in a crowded area).

Here has everything. Savory to sweet! Local historical shop. We stop by here at our bike ride for a snack. Seasonal ice cream flavors are fun to try. We had houchata, they said "egg nog" ice cream is coming out after Halloween. We gotta go there and have the taste.

Great meats! This is where I go to get my spicy landjaeger and other deli meats too. The young kids working here are always really helpful and quick. Definitely a West Seattle landmark on California.

Institution. Old school WS experience. We hit the sandwiches harder than the ice cream, but you're missing out if you're just visiting and skipping the ice cream. The rotating cast of hs and college kids and the family working there are always sweet and fun to watch dynamics of. iykyk

Husky is a very eclectic shop in the junction in West Seattle. Worth a visit if you are looking for some lunch, deli meats, ice cream, candy or other things. The staff here is super friendly and always having fun which makes the environment much more welcoming. They have a huge menu of sandwiches, the 12th Man is pretty much the best sandwich. Prices are bit high on the ice cream, but they make it themselves so it's from scratch and delicious.
