What a quaint little restaurant hidden under pike place market. The food is delicious and the stuffed mushrooms are the best. Every dish we ordered was a delight. Even though we had no room for desert we ordered the Creme Brûlée and we weren't disappointed. The service was very personal and attentive. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for an amazing evening!
I don't usually take the time to sit down and write a review about anything but, I had the best time at Red Cedar & Sage. It was a good friend's birthday, and we were looking for something new and fresh. This place couldn't have been more perfect. Delicious food and drinks, at a great value. The service was great but, the food is what will keep me coming back for more. This place is a hidden gem in Pikes Place, and I almost want to keep it hidden for myself. If you go here, you won't regret it. Try the Salmon, it will leave your mouth watering long after you've devoured it. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Every dish was a delight for the senses. We shared each dish around the table, and each of us were amazed how each meal was perfection.
Great place, great food, great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone.
Our new found fave place in Seattle. Awesome staff, amazing food. Best clam chowder, and martinis!
Thank you Brian❤~Afton & Jason
This place is great. Super friendly staff. We walked in just to find a little relief and sit down for a quick cocktail and nosh. We were so impressed with everything we went back for a quick lunch break. Best .... carbonara ..... ever.
Service was impeccable (which we did not find in some of our other Seattle restaurants) and the food was creative and delicious. One of the best brunches I’ve had in a long time.
Requested the corner table on the patio #123. Awesome View, Awesome Atmosphere, Awesome Food, Awesome waiter..... Can you tell that we had a great time!
The food was amazing and it is a cool location. I had the bruschetta as an appetizer which had a hint of spicy 🌶. And spaghetti carbonara which was the best I've had in years since Sicily.
Excellent food, excellent service, perfect location. Definitely recommend!
Excellent, unique flavors and a killer Bloody Mary. Hidden gem in Pike Street Market!
We stumbled upon this place on our honeymoon last year and it was wonderful. What was supposed to be a quick stop for a drink to rest turned into a couple hours of amazing food and great company.
This place is tucked away in Pikes and can be hard to find, like all good treasures. We took over the glass dining room for my birthday and it was a blast. The tuna tartare and truffle Mac n Cheese will make your taste buds sing.
The service was honestly the best we've experienced in years and the menu selections and food were wonderful only to be surpassed by the Bloody Mary bar! Thanks for a great Father's Day, we'll definitely be back.
The service & food were fantastic! Colin & Jonathan were very attentive to our table & family! We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others & come back again! Love the atmosphere too!
What a find for a couple of clueless tourists! We both had the scallops and they were out of this world! And the clam chowder YUM! Great service too!
My family and I came here for our first time for the Mother's Day Brunch special they had. The decor and atmosphere is very mod and clean. I loved the look and the feel. There was a set menu for the occasion and everyone in my family had something different off of it. We all sampled each other's food and it was GREAT! The mimosas were on point too!
A nice and cute restaurant, the service was fast and the people were very friendly. Reasonably priced food and very tasty.
First stop on our short visit to Seattle. Great place and the food was delicious!
Price range was a little high but you get what you pay for - great food and even better service.
They have superb happy hour, food and drinks are worth trying.
Came in with my daughter and fiancé and was just blown away by the amazing time we had. The food was phenomenal! And the service and atmosphere was just perfect. I can't wait to be in area again so we can stop by since we do live a hour away. If not it's definitely worth the trip!!!!
Their wifi was incredible, their food was also incredible.
The only problem I had with this establishment is that the only soft drinks that they had were Coca~Cola and Disgusting Sprite.
They didn't even have Pibb~Extra!
Amazing from the service to drinks and the best part....the FOOD!! OMG. Incredible!!!
Great little spot sort of tucked away within Pike Place Market. The food was really good. I had the pork chop upon recommendation, and it was probably the best one I've ever had. It was a great date night!
I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment back in September when I was in town for an interview. This restaurant's outdoor eating area caught my attention. The decorations were minimal but truly aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the Club sandwich and a Coke. It was delicious and huge! The waitress was charming and efficient. When she found out I was from out of town I noticed and felt a surge in hospitality from great to excellent. The manager came out to chat as well since we both shared the same home city. This experience solidified my desire to live in this great city and to work hard to be a part of it. I got the job. I look forward to eating here again.
I enjoyed my lunch at the bar of Red Cedar and Sage where I was treated to great service and a juicy Ruben Sandwich. Located in the center of Pikes Place Market- Pike Street Entrance- elevator to the 2nd level. Tuesday afternoon was quiet and the bar tender, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was bright, open and modern. Well worth a visit if you are in the Market but want to get away from the bustle of the tourists.
Fantastic ambience and service. However, not a lot of variety for vegetarians. Deserts and drinks are pretty good though! Try the spicy chocolate fudge cake and mimosa cocktail!
Love their happy hour. The first time I came here was for Restaurant Week. I arrived early enough to enjoy happy hour prior to the restaurant week menu. I went back a week later to save the experience with my husband. The food was amazing. Their mushroom pasta was delicious and the service was great. This has become a go to happy hour place for us.
Came here for brunch on a Saturday because we passed by, and this restaurant was so pretty not to walk into! I really loved the atmosphere of this place. For drinks they had a Bloody Mary bar, and also orange rosemary mimosas for only $5. I ended up ordering a mimosa which was actually really delicious! I also got the pork belly belt, and the pork belly + fries were perfectly cooked. Everything we ordered was so tasty! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're around Pike Place.
Had friends in from out of town, New York and Toronto, Canada. I knew they would like this place since it’s my favorite restaurant in downtown Seattle and they trust my judgement. But I had no idea they’d fall in love with it as I have. Everything today has been 💯💯💯 and Red Cedar & Sage had put the cherry 🍒 on top. Thank you guys for the AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS 🍸
WOW!! Man this place is amazing! Hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! The view was amazing and the staff is amazing! Only downfall was the other guest we had a table full of girls blabbing about their personal life.. 🥴
My Partner and I had a wonderful time for dinner March 15, 2019.
We were seeing the sites at Pike Place and it was time that we had dinner. The Marketplace was quiet, and most of the businesses were closed. We were looking for a menu that was vegetarian friendly for my Partner, and also a restaurant that appealed to our taste. We were welcomed after walking inside, and I was already pleased by selecting this place. Everything was perfect. Imagine everything that you’d expect for a comfortable and enjoyable dinner for two. Remarkably quiet throughout our dinner. The service was right on the mark, and the food was delicious. We will remember Red Cedar & Sage.
A bit overpriced but to be expected for the location. The salmon benedict was excellent, the everything bagel was less impressive for the price ($18). Adams bloody Mary was delish. There was an issue with one of our meals and the staff professionally and promptly rectified it. The location and set up of the restaurant is its biggest draw. Unique atmosphere. We had some trouble finding it - it's between Western Ave and the next level up of Pike Place Market. Entrance is between two sets of stairs.
An overdue review! We've known about this restaurant since it opened, but never took the opportunity to try it so we finally went for our anniversary in October. Why did we wait so long?! We started with the charcuterie - great selections, would go back for this alone! I had the steak frites and my husband had the sirloin and both meals were fantastic! We had to get dessert - I had a piece of delicious chocolate cake and my husband had the carrot cake which was served in the most creative and unique way. We both had great cocktails as well. The atmosphere was simple, warm, and nice and the service was probably the best we've had since moving to the city. I've already recommended it to several friends and coworkers. I only managed to get a photo of the charcuterie, but we'll definitely be back!!
A little pricey but delicious. Great atmosphere and decent coverage even when the sun's out and it's warm.
The Salmon is the best I've ever had, for sure.
Not only was the food amazing, but the the waiters and waitresses were really nice. The music selection was also incredible. Even the restroom was nice.
Loved hanging out with the bartenders and servers. Would highly recommend visitors to their drinks and seafood selections!
"Also, Go Niners!" Goes out to our server who thought we would get crushed. :)
The brunch here is on the expensive side but it is worth it. Food was distinctly better and the presentation was also clean and refreshing. The outside seating is unusual and nice.
Unusual bar, right on the steps between Pike Place Market and Western Ave. Bar has huge windows that open and make it feel open-air. Bar stock is higher end with delights like a cask barrel of bar blend whiskey, a boozy slushie maker and Roots infused vodkas.
The unusual location made this place feel a little more tame and sucluded than surrounding bars (a good thing), like an oasis in the desert.
Excellent food, wonderful service, but the space is the best part. Awesome 3rd story loft-like restaurant filled with light and gentle breezes!
The atmosphere was amazing. The food was to die for!! Its the perfect place to stop and take a break for lunch!
