The Rhododendron Cafe is downstairs in the Inn at Virginia Mason where we were staying for a procedure. We dined there several times during our stay and each meal was delicious.

Great service, delicious food. The place is small and cozy nestled in the lobby of the inn. It's a tad pricey but it's worth the money. I ordered french toast with a side of sausage and had coffee to drink. The french toast was amazingly fluffy and had some tangy fruity sauce and cranberry garnish.
My mother and I were at the hotel all week for her procedures, and the RC, was a huge blessing.
The day crew and night crew both exceptional. Very customer oriented and knew the menu.

absolutely love this restaurant! My favorite item is the shrimp and grits. Shrimp and Grits run out quickly because they are so good, so I try to show up before 11am anytime I come for brunch. I highly suggest the prosciutto & pear sandwich! It was everything I wanted. The bread was soft. It was the right balance of sweet and savory. It wasn't too dry. Also the prosciutto was very tender- I've had really dry, gross prosciutto before. The house chips were solid too.

The food was great. Jacob, our waiter was attentive and patient. Chef Chase even came out to chat with us. Lovely ambiance, great food and great service. Even the food runner was spectacular. Highly recommend the beet salad. Really lovely afternoon.
Best stuffed French toast I've ever had!! Avocado toast cake with a generous side of fresh seasonal fruit. Friendly, prompt staff. A quiet cafe conveniently located in the Inn.

The staff here are very friendly, the coffee is cheap, the desserts are delicious, and it’s only a 2 minute walk/elevator ride from work. The courtyard is lovely when it’s sunny too. This place is great, and so nice that it’s right outside the hospital.
