Had a traditional Greek Lamb Gyro for $10.88. It was good and tasted as authentic as other Greek restaurants I have been to. This restaurant had the lowest prices around, which was probably why it had one of the longest lines. The fruit shop right next to it had the sweetest nectarines we have ever had! So, stop there too to get fresh fruit for dessert!

It's basically a family tradition every time we go to Seattle we have to go here they have the best gyros ever. The wife and I literally salivate as we drive towards Seattle. The staff is extremely friendly and greeting and my god I ordered a small fry I swear to God I don't know what the small means to them but they gave me a large. Go here you won't regret it.

Delicious food. Great prices. Lamb gyro and fries for about $15 (before tip). Helpful and engaging service as well. Plus, you can order your food and then walk through the market to eat at the waterfront overlooking the sound.

I ordered a beef steak yeero and a 6 piece falafel 🧆. The yeero was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t get enough of the creamy garlic sauce they added, but I think I was shorted since it only had 3 small pieces of steak. Otherwise, it was phenomenal. The falafel were okay. They looked smaller and flatter than advertised. I think they were slightly overcooked but tzatziki sauce was awesome. Overall this is a cute little stop for a quick lunch. Thank you!

I got the "Greek Style" gyro. It was really tasty! The gyro had good flavor and the combination of everything works great. I loved that it had the French fries inside the gyro which is how they do it in Europe. It's so much better that way! Great way to grab a quick flavorful meal. I wish it came with lettuce in it and I wish the chicken was shaved off like the gyro meat. But recommend for sure!

Visited on 07/07/22 Great: the food was pretty fast, considering how busy they were. The gyro was good and simple. I had the traditional lamb. Good: the seasoned fries were a mix of soggy and crispy. They could use more flavor. We also ordered the Greek-style lamb gyro (they ran out of chicken). It was ok and nothing special. Bad: nothing bad.

Staff was super friendly, service was very quick & the food was delicious. I had a half order of the Yeero Greek Fries & that was enough to make me full. I remember eating & taking forkfuls only to keep getting more meat & fries beneath so I can’t imagine what the full size would be. With my food, another food item for someone else & 2 drinks, the order total was $29.95. Would definitely eat there again.

Along the cobblestone of the famous Pike Place Market, lies an old world style eaterie with tables fence-marked on the other side of the side walk. Having come highly recommended by locals, I was not disappointed. I ordered a Greek style chicken gyro and dolmades. The sauce was perfectly balanced, the meat cooked just right and an overall wonderful taste. Highly recommend it! God bless you and yours!

Food was delicious! My daughter’s food allergies were also accommodated. Only pic was of the baklava because we too busy enjoying our meal!

Having come across Mr. D’s quiet often in my several visits to Pike Place, never actually tried their menu. While I was headed to my favourite bagel place for breakfast, again on a Saturday morning, I took a detour as I decided to try Mr. D’s this time. Scouting through their vegetarian options, I asked (probably Mrs. D) on what’s the triangle shaped pastry. Moment she said it’s got Spinach & Feta (a classic & my favourite combo) I was sold & ordered the freshly made Greek Spanakopita. The slightly more oily pastry had a very generous filling of cooked spinach with oozy feta. Even though the Feta had its distinct flavour, slightly more strong here @ Mr. D’s, I loved it. A great breakfast option, albeit a healthy one that Popoye would agree. Don’t miss it if you are here, am coming back for their other pita options, soon.

I hate driving to Seattle and all of the traffic around Pikes Market but these gyros are so amazing. They are my favorite, we love the lamb ones. They are always fresh and the cans are ice cold which is great on a really hot day. The guys who work here are so nice and personable too

I had the chicken gyro wrap and it was amazing! It's a nice little place that faces out towards the main street so you've got a lot to watch and see while you're waiting for the food. It's a great portion for the price. I don't live in Seattle and honestly this would be one of the only reasons I would go back! (Besides Pike Market itself of course)

I've been coming to the market to get their Gyro 🥙 since Mr. D was still alive. Now it's his kids. Still great food. Worth the trip.

Love the salads and gyros here! Always super fresh and large portions. I get the lamb or the chicken salad, the small size is plenty! Friendly family type vibe. Great fast service even when there is a long line.

Can’t complain about the food at all, it was fresh and flavorful. However, the wait was long and the prices were a bit steep. It was also tricky to eat without finding a designated seating area.

Super vegetarian friendly with many options to choose from! I went with the falafel gyro and it was delicious, our one year old loved the falafel too! My husband got a traditional gyro, and we shared some of the gyro fries (II pulled the meat off of the ones I ate, but, they do have the fries without meat!) delicious! The spanikopita was very dry and seemed like it had been reheated a few times. Everything else was EXCELLENT so we didn't mind this. Seating is very limited, only 4 tables outside, so during lunchtimme, someone will be hovering near you waiting for you to finish your food and get up.
