I really liked the location of this restaurant on Queen anne. The food and drinks will not disappoint. They also have a lovely patio area and our server Ashley was super friendly and helpful with choices. I stopped here before a concert at Key Arena and was glad I did.
The best and freshest seafood I've ever had! And our server as well as the rest of the staff were wonderful. I will go back next time I'm in Seattle!
Delicious! Salmon was excellent! Crispy cod taco was awesome, and smoked salmon chowder was surprisingly great. Prices were very reasonable as well. I would definitely put this on my regular visit list.
We came into town for the Husky vs Stanford game ( The Dawgs mauled em 44-6!) We looked up great seafood restaurants in Seattle, this one was high on the list and I definitely agree!
It was a Clean, Great ambiance and Fantastic service! Awesome Fish n Chips and they gave me a sample piece of the Fried Salmon.... Delicious! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. This was a 5 star dining experience for us!

We had a large family dinner here tonight and it was wonderful. They were a wait staff member short so Paul waited on us and he was so nice and accommodating, as if he had nothing else to do. Thanks Paul and staff for welcoming us to your business and a great dinner.
The grilled Signature Salmon is amazing - honestly, I think it was the best I've ever had! So many great choices - our son loves the crispy shrimp tacos and fish and chips. Paul and the servers are always so pleasant. It is one of our favorite places on the hill.

Had lunch here for the first time today. They have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for weather like today! They have all you can eat fish and chips on Fridays that also comes with all you can eat coleslaw and fries for just $13! The best part is that it's actually GOOD fish and chips! The cod is lightly breaded and not too salty, which makes it perfect to keep eating. My dad had the grilled salmon which I took a few nibbles of- YUM! Also not too salty, and grilled perfectly. Came with a light teriyaki sauce that really sweetened the bite. I will definitely be back!

Great food, friendly service. Fish and chips was very good. Server said they cut the cod for it, and it tasted fresh. My wife said the fish tacos were delicious. Not very busy on a Friday, but I would return if in the area again.
I was nervous at first because there wasn't any people in the restaurant but we ended up loving our food-especially the salmon and the chowder! Relatively inexpensive and casual seafood dining.

We have not visited Seattle for about 3 years and we noticed on this visit that fish, except at Pike's Place, is harder to find at restaurants. We are so glad that we depended on the Yelp reviews and came to Five Hooks. It is even better than everyone has said.
Yes it is unpretentious. Yes the sauces don't have 18 ingredients you have never heard of. Yes if you want great fish it is Perfect.
We had New England and Manhattan clam chowder, a fish taco, Fish and Chips (3 huge pieces of fish), and the chef gave us grilled zucchini. All of this food for $20, including the tax. It is amazing that they can deliver that high quality for that low price.

Great fish tacos. We saw this place on our way home from the Queen Anne farmers market. Looked interesting, so we gave it a try. Fish tacos were awesome (both crispy and grilled). The whole family had a great meal, and the prices are very reasonable. The french fries are very good (forget the calories). Paul (I think he is the owner) was very attentive and helpful. I would definately recommend Five Hooks for a casual relaxing dinner in Queen Anne.
I had a salmon salad that was great, good sized, and well priced. My son had the cod wrap and he said it was great. Not to mention the give you free mini apitezers

Fish tacos were great with a fantastic sause. Sweet potato fries and the regular fries were very good. Slaw was very good also. We will return.
Great new spot. Had the fresh Ahi with the spicy sauce. It was awesome. Big plate for reasonable amount of money. Great Value! Good family environment as well. You gotta try it!
Enjoyed our meal here, good service and good food. Everything on the cod plate was very good and my fried prawns and scallops were good too. (Requested the cocktail sauce and it was great) My only issue with our meal was the fries. (chips) I will never understand why anything other than a fast food chain would use frozen prepared fries; these were actually pretty tasty but I would've enjoyed seeing a little more pride in the meal.
Delicious food and was plated nicely. Service was quick and friendly. They have a small outdoor seating area and we sat outside on a beautiful night. Portions were generous and all meals were great!
Experienced Five Hooks Fish Grill for the first time at Salmon Days in Issaquah. The flavor on the chowder was actually really good, the only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is because the chowder was not very warm when they gave it to me.

First time I’ve ever had salmon breaded and fried. It was good. My companions enjoyed their cod as chips very much. Bottomless soda fountain is nice and pretty rare in Seattle. Worth the trip up Queen Anne Hill or just to hit up if you’re in the neighborhood.
The food and staff here are incredible! It's our new favorite place to eat in Seattle. They have a great kids menu and my kids, who are picky eaters, are very happy with their meals. My husband has three different food allergies (gluten, dairy, soy) and they did a phenomenal job in making sure their wasn't cross contamination. He was able to eat a very delicious meal.
We love getting a salmon Caesar salad from here, but alao their soup and crispy plates are great when we decide to mix it up. Everything here is made from scratch and is delightful. Overall, the food is amazing and service always top-notch.
Awesome food, incredible atmosphere, and dedicated service. Loved the attention my family (and dog!) had on their outdoor seating area. Looks like the owners will be installing an awning to make it a perfect place for both summer & winter. Highly recommended for a fun night of delicious food!
This was such a great dining experience. First, the atmosphere. Quiet, cozy, and with very tasteful decorations. There was also a working fireplace warming us! Second, the food. It tasted delicious, and almost as important, didn't cost us an arm and a leg. This is one of the few seafood restaurants in Seattle which is both incredibly delicious and affordably priced. Third, the service. The service was the best part of the experience here. The waitress was attentive, and the chef/owner even came out and talked to us about the place and the food! The entire staff was incredibly nice. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for great seafood in Seattle.
Family owned restaurant, good chefs and fantastic waiter. The food was amazing I had their signature salmon and the person I was with got the shrimp tacos, both excellent dishes. The onion rings were also quite good with very good seasoning.
This was an unbelievable find - a fantastic seafood restaurant! We have lived in Seattle for over twenty years and have been consistently disappointed in the quality of seafood in the city’s restaurants. While the Northwest is famous for its local seafood selection it’s been our experience that quite often the fish is overcooked and tasteless. The Five Hooks Fish Grill really takes seafood to a new level. The owner obviously knows his product and has a true passion for preparing and presenting great seafood. My wife had the Signature Salmon dinner and said it was one of the best salmon meals she has ever had! My swordfish was perfect. We are going back next week for the Friday special – all you can eat fish and chips for $12.99. Can’t wait. The place is the real deal.
