Love this neighborhood resto. Their fried chicken is especially good, crispy and tender and melts in your mouth. Seems like a family run resto where everyone is super friendly and helpful

Pleasant Neighborhood Surprise. We're looking for a place for dinner before a concert and ran into Sand Point Grill. Wonderful! Service was very attentive but not over the top; the food was fabulous. We shared the Beet Salad and the Coho Salmon special. We were both happy that we were able to find food that accommodated our diet. Wonderful!

Friendly service, REALLY nice to the kids. I had Link Lab sausages that were great, but the goat cheese polenta was even better. My wife's braised meat fettuccine was also a winner.

Sand Point Grill is an incredible neighborhood restaurant. Its cozy and comfy with attentive service. The food is great, I've never been let down. Of particular interest is the nastalgia dessert. Happy Hour has great drinks, great food, and a friendly bartender. Stop by and check them out!

Happy Spot. Love this neighborhood spot. Been going here for years (before and after current ownership) and this is where we tend to go when we want a good reliable dinner near our house. Good food, eclectic menu updated w/seasons (kind of reminds me of Palace Kitchen downtown) but keeps the old favorites available. Professional/friendly/efficient service. We choose to go here both with and without children in tow. Has a bit more ambiance than you might expect of a neighborhood/no-view place, and enough variety on the menu to fit your mood (healthy/splurge/etc.). Have not had a bad meal here (ever). Desserts worth saving room for. My husband says order the NY Strip steak if it's on the menu. Just good food, carefully prepared, and a bit more involved than I'd attempt at home.

Excellent little restaurant! Found it by accident on the way home from Magnuson Park, and ended up having a very delicious dinner served by very friendly staff. They have classic American bistro comfort food such as meatloaf, cheese burgers, fried chicken, and pastas, plus a few other surprises. They also have a neat bar area, and a robust drink and wine menu. Highly recommended if you're looking for that classic Americana meal that feels like it was cooked in granny's kitchen. 5/5 🌟

We all loved our drinks and food. We had fish and chips, portobello mushroom dip, pork schnitzel sandwich, and the meatloaf dinner.

So sad I didn’t take a pic of the shrimp taco. Came here for Happy Hour. Such a cute quaint place with great food. I had two Wagyu beef sliders ($5 each) and one shrimp taco ($6 each) and bread pudding ($8.50) served with vanilla Gelato. I didn’t have my usual Tito’s (because it was HH) but the house vodka was good too! Go treat yourself and thank me later!

Amazing service and extremely welcoming!! We went here for a quick little date night and had a wonderful time!! The Pork Schnitzel sandwich was so good and the cookie skillet was to die for, especially the vanilla gelato that came with it. Would highly recommend!!

Recent changes to the menu and ownership made me put Sandpoint Grill on my list of great small restaurants in NE Seattle. The service was outstanding and our dinner of salmon and polenta was perfection. I’ll be back and back soon.

I can not recommend this place enough! I went today and got a lavender lemonade, which was tangy and delicious! For food, I got chillquilles! They used feta cheese instead of cotija, but they were still delicious. I also had potato skins without bacon to share, which was also good. I would get all three items again (not all at once because I was extremely fully). My mom got the Reuben. She said it was not bad, although she has had better and she probably wouldn't order it again. The atmosphere was also really nice. The venue is much bigger than it looks from the outside. I also loved the low lighting. Bonus, the friendliest pair of women, who were seated next to us, and we had a lovely conversation. The atmosphere of the restaurant really allows you to talk to others (if you'd like). **We went during happy hour, which is between 4-6 pm. I didn't see chillquilles on the regular menu, only the happy hour menu. I'm not sure if I just overlooked it or if it's only available during a certain time.

My wife and I probably dine here twice a month, and SPG is a really charming neighborhood bar and grill. The food is good and the low key atmosphere make it a great hangout. The staff is always friendly and efficient and all the neighborhood locals hang out together, it’s a very inviting pub.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. The food is incredibly good and the service provided is outstanding. The owner of this restaurant has a unique management style, he checks to make sure that customers are well served and never forgets to ask if things are OK. A++

The experience here was good - not blow your socks off, but solid. I don’t think you’d be disappointed coming here! The food itself was cooked well, the portions were large, and overall I enjoyed it. However we felt that the pork chops were missing oomph - some sort of sauce would dramatically improve the quality of the dish - the broccoli was amazing! The service was very prompt and the servers were extremely friendly! Overall somewhere between 4 - 5 stars.

Great food and stellar service. Every time I come in it feels like family. Between the out of this world meatloaf and Cassie’s great service I can’t help but comeback. I recommend Angelo’s Paper Plane if your interested in cocktails it’s to die for.

Have not been in person but have ordered take out many times now. Before the pandemic we had sub-par delivery experiences (slow and canceled orders) from this place but ever since they have figured it out and no issues the last 5+ orders. Food is delicious. I've tried buttermilk fried chicken, pork loin, burger, Caesar salad, lamb pasta, and schnitzel sandwich all were very tasty. I've also had the shrimp diablo pasta and my only complaint is the amount of shrimp... I think I got maybe 4 shrimp and would have liked maybe 7-8. Definitely recommend the place, great food!

Delicious burger, fish and chips excellent too. Can't go wrong with the food here in our experience. Pricey for what it is ($21 burger and fries). Service excellent, friendly, and attentive.

Fantastic, local food! Staff friendly! Only thing that could have been improved upon was the decor, although it wasn't too bad, just a little boring for my tastes. I also wish that they had put the dining in the front by the windows and the bar in the back. The food and service was worth the visit though. We will be back! They also had kids eat free several days of the week. The kids had chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. It was not your ordinary kids meal. It was really yummy. We had the mussels and the tuna tacos. They were excellent as well! If I could, I probably would have taken a half star off for the decor, but I couldn't give it just 4. The food and service was worth more than that.

Get comfortable, this is a long review for a comfort food haven. We were finally able to take our family out, and our first choice was our long anticipated visit in to the Sandpoint Grill. We all shared some amazing dishes. The schnitzel sandwich was surprisingly fresh for a fried sandwich, the vegetables were delicious and the fresh locally-baked bun held it all together very well. The burger seemed to have the same bun and it was perfect. Usually with towers of vegetables the buns disintegrate or become mush. Not here. The bacon was crispy the vegetables matched in crispness and the patty was not only perfectly seasoned but also perfectly cooked. The fish and chips had a crunchy but not chunky batter and the fish flaked apart showing it was not over nor under cooked. The fries had a slight crunch and soft inside and were lightly salted which was all they needed. Also, wow, the buttermilk chicken! What a coating and seasoning. The chicken was done just right and the mashed potatoes were a crowd favorite, although the one who ordered was not exactly happy to have to share them. Lastly, the pork and mushrooms. I was told they were sensational. I don't eat mushrooms or things that have been touched by mushrooms but have it on good authority that no better mushroom dishes exist in our dining universe. I could write another novel about the drinks and desserts, but I will end with the fact they were phenomenal and you will not be disappointed here.

Lovely neighborhood spot, serving American bistro style food. Burgers, gourmet sandwiches, steak, fried chicken. It's got a nice small bar area too. I eat here regularly and always enjoy my meals. Plenty of places to park on street or near City People's. Excellent staff.
