Nielsen Pastry - Seattle - Photo album

Relaxed authentic bakery with friendly service. Tried the potato and it lived up to the hype. It’s cream puff shell filled with custard and just right amount of sweetness, with a marzipan on top. They also have a good selection of coffee/espresso based drinks.
Tasty cinnamon roll that’s (almost) just like the ones we get back home in Denmark. Not super expensive, but definitely not cheap either. Restrooms and reasonable fast WiFi available. Kind staff.
Went specifically looking for this place since my SO remembers the poppy seed danish from half a decade ago and it was one of the best pastry he's ever had so he wanted to share Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - this pastry shop definitely lives up to his memory and everything we tried was so good!! Poppy S
An absolute lovely place for a coffee & Danish pastry. Helpful staff and everything is SO good. Lovely atmosphere with books, comfy chairs, music, and it is below street level which makes it even more cozy to me. During our trip to Seattle we started every day here after finding it down the street f
Whoa. These were phenomenal. Only picked up the potato and tosca, but they were both fantastic. The potato was not overtly sweet and the perfect custard consistency. The tosca had an amazing almond paste that went perfectly with the raspberry jam and chocolate dipped on the sides. They also packaged
Small cafe in lower queen anne. Yummy danish pastry and good selection of coffee. Huge selection of other pastries too. Nice place to chill - I came here on a weekend thankfully wasnt very crowded.. they have books and games for you to read/play while you're in!
Love this place! The box feels old fashioned, the food seems robust, and it is. I got the potato and a ginger shortbread. Potato is perfect, the marzipan is just pure almond flavor. The ginger shortbread is ok, not much ginger flavor. Will definitely go again! Staff are friendly as well. Wish I coul
Súper friendly and tasty the cinnamon apple roll it’s very good !!
Best pastries I’ve had in Seattle. They had outside the norm pastries like a cream cheese and poblano danish which was bomb. Coffee was excellent as well. Parking enforcement in this area is militant though.
My favorite bakery in Seattle. All of the food in fantastic, the coffee tastes great (get the spicy mocha) and everyone who works there couldn't be friendlier. I tell everyone to go here, because Nielsen's is a truly special place
