Where do I begin. The staff was super nice and greeted us as we came in. Our waitress gave us some food good recommendations. Two of us shared the mussels, prime rib with smashed potatoes and butternut squash, and a half Green and Grains salad. The mussels were probably some of the best I have ever had. Served in a tomato soup type sauce with baked bread. To die for. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it was huge, and came with yummy garlic butter on top. The smashed potatoes were amazing. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. The salad was yummy and had just the right amount of everything. We were totally stuffed and glad we shared the entree. Definitely going back!

The humble store front of this unassuming restaurant does not do the delicious food justice. The pork tenderloin and house-made sweet potato English muffin were highlights of the Classic Benedict, but the generous portion of silky hollandaise and herbaceous roasted red potatoes truly set it apart. What a unique and delectable brunch spot. A must try!

Treat yourself to this place! Everything was perfect on Saturday night for me and my husband. The wonderful Kail took care of us for the evening. Although the other young lady working with her that night made sure we had everything we desired too. We started with the seared Ahi Tuna. See pic. It was perfection. I had the ribeye and my husband had the boneless braised beef short ribs. I’m so sorry to not have a pic of our entrees but we were half way done with them before I realized I hadn’t taken a pic. A testimony to how good everything was. My steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The short ribs melted in your mouth. Oh yeah, we had drinks too. I can’t wait to go for brunch!!

This restaurant had a nicely curated menu of specialty and common cocktails, a small selection of taps, and a reasonable menu of high quality American standards. I was able to get the ahi tuna sandwich made as a lettuce wrap so that I could avoid the gluten. They accommodated this without batting an eye! Candles, attentive but non-intrusive service, and generally a fun atmosphere made our visit excellent. Thank you!

First, service was excellent. My girlfriend and I shared several items and the waitress made sure things came out one at a time so we could take our time and enjoy the food and drinks. The salad and seared ahi were excellent. However the fish part of the fish and chips was extremely disappointing. The breading was like wet paper when the dish came out, appearing as if it had been microwaved. It's a shame because it was good fish.

Second time there. It's a beautiful space, and the staff is amazing. I ordered the risotto. It was not good. Tasted like wet cardboard smells. The first time I was there, the food was great!!! Our server was very kind and took it off our bill. Honey loved his burger! Don't be discouraged from going by this review. It may have just been an off night for that particular dish. I will definitely go again. Just won't order the risotto.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I've been coming here for years. Always had a positive experience. My bf and I came in for dinner last night. They had just two staff members waiting on the entire restaurant and bar, but they did a great job with service. I was worried at first, but they nailed everything and service wasn't overbearing, which I appreciate. We ordered two drinks: my standard Beefeater on the rocks with olives, and my boyfriend always orders the Blue Glass Manhattan with Buffalo. You wouldn't think restaurants could bungle a Manhattan, but some do, which is why we're always pleased that they do it so well here. And I'm always so pleased to have Beefeater available. The food: we order the burrata every time, and it's always so tasty. I love the chopped olives. I wish they confited the tomatoes a bit, but that's me being nit-picky. This app is solid and pleasing. I ordered the crab gnocchi. It is a soft Parisienne style gnocchi, which I haven't seen in a long time, and I appreciate the care that went into making it. Lots of delicious crabmeat was mixed throughout. The butter sauce was good, but I wish it had a touch more salt, and again that the tomatoes were cooked a bit, maybe blistered or something to liven them up, but I still enjoyed it. We also ordered Brussel Sprouts as a side, and they are so darn good! Always cooked well, and the sauce is delicious. This is once dish that I appreciate where the salt is not noticeable and overwhelming. You can just enjoy the veg and thoughtfulness of their vinaigrette. My boyfriend ordered the chix sandwich. He loved it! Next time we might bring his beloved mustard so that he can adorn his sandwich and enhance it his way (lol!l, but that's just his thing. The sandiwch was lovely, and I dunno where Blue Glass gets their fries, but they are BOMB! So good. Had to stop myself from taking an order home. The restaurant is always CLEAN! Thank you!!! Please keep it that way! This establishment is 21 and up, so it's an adult outing venue. People who have complained that they cannot bring their children here, you should brush up on the Seattle laws. This restaurant doesn't have the room for the Seattle mandated rail that must separate the bar area from the rest of the tables, so they are in compliance for the space they have available. It's just that simple. I've noticed over the years that this establishment really tries to branch out and keep the dinner menu fresh and attempts new things, and while not everything is a home run, I love the passion and effort! Great neighborhood spot! Hope you'll go and enjoy!

Had delicious cocktails (rye old fashioneds) and food here this past week. The Blue Glass came as a recommendation and didn't disappoint. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the staff was kind of cranky. Not once did they smile or really show they cared about us as customers even though we were sitting right at the bar in front of them and tried to open a dialog with them. Don't get me wrong, the service was fine, it just could have been a lot friendlier. Give it try for yourself.

Sat outside. Waitress was really nice and friendly. She got all the drinks orders quickly and correct for our party of eight during happy hour on a Friday night. Food was OK but nothing special. The fries were average at best.

Oh. My. Gawd! Lol no further if you actually like flavor!!! This food was done of the best I've EVER had!!! The service was incredible and respectful and timely. The food was quick and seriously sale of the best food flavor mixes I've ever eaten. The steak bites melted in my mouth and the brussel sprouts were cooked absolutely incredibly perfect!!! The creme brulee l'orange was the perfect mix of crunch and creamy, again with the flavors on point!! I don't care if I live an hour away, I'll come back!!!

This is a neighborhood gastropub essentially. I think it is underrated and not super well know but that’s okay because it means I can get a table when it strikes my fancy. I love the mussels and the ahi tuna. Their salads and sandwiches are good fare. The atmosphere is hard to describe and not sure it makes sense. You could call it artsy or chill or neighborhood vibe. But that is possibly part of the charm. I like the outdoor seating so I usually go more in the warmer weather. The relaxed vibe, although nice, does not match the gourmet prices.

Had a great breakfast this morning. The Blue Glass does a very nice job with creating breakfast foods where they are paying attention to flavor. There is a standard breakfast, but a small menu and focus on flavors, i would absolutely recommend this spot. I believe they just started doing brunch... so before it gets Seattle busy, go now.

We enjoyed our brunch at the nicely covered outdoor patio. Nice brunch menu! I had a braised short rib and kimchi benedict. My daughter had a carbonara. Her friend had a dungeness crab benedict. We all liked own picked😍 I boxed up my leftover for later, but I forgot to take it from the table....😭

Some of the best food in Ballard. Very innovative & interesting small plates & entrees. Their fried brussel sprouts are always cooked perfectly with a very complex flavor and can be shared by four. The in-house brined, local oysters were crunchy on the outside & juicy on the inside. So good! The boneless ribeye steak is amazing & the price can't be beat. The carbonara substituted fresh asparagus for the traditional peas; we all thought that this was much better. Cocktails are wonderful & the draft beer selection favors great local choices. Save room for any of their great desserts. The rice pudding with cardamom had just enough for four of us to share after a very filling meal.

Had a wonderful time catching up with a friend and enjoying the Ballard gem. Don’t sleep on 65th street, it’s not in the “downtown” part but it’s got some incredible little shops, including The Blue Glass. We were seated on the small patio they have then the windows are open which provided excellent people watching all while sipping freshly brewed coffee and catching up. We were there pretty early on a Sunday so it was relatively quiet, but perfect time to enjoy the morning sun before it got too hot. Our fantastic server was attentive without being pushy, super personable (nail polish twins with my bestie) and kept us watered and caffeinated throughout the meal. We took forever on deciding what to eat partially do to not having seen each other in so long, but mainly due to the fact that everything on the menu made our mouths water. My friend is a vegetarian and she had so many options to choose from. I ended up going with the Brunch Carbonara (pasta for breakfast? Count me a convert) which has perfectly cook asparagus spears, crispy and yummy pancetta bits, with a beautiful runny poached egg right on top and oh so cheesy. She got the Eggs Over the Sun; Parmesan polenta with heaps of savory goodness and 3 eggs on top. Our whole experience was so wonderful, we never felt rushed, we needed for nothing, and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I’ve now got even more of an excuse to make the trek to Ballard, because I definitely want to still try their entire menu.
