I’ve been here three times. The food was good but there weren’t a lot of choices. They have pressed sushi roll and it feels like just regular rolls. The food was decent with the cost.
The uni shooter was like a tiny bowl of uni roe bowl since they have rice underneath the uni. You can’t really sho
This place has amazing food! Our favorite was the tuna appetizer. The pressed sushi was also very good. The udon dish was almost like Mac and cheese. The cocktails were all amazing as well. The atmosphere and servers made it warm and inviting as well.
Came here for the 3rd time while taking a girl out on a date and I did it right this time. Ordered off the daily menu and got a plethora of things to experience the feel of the restaurant and I can say this is one of the best Japanese meals I've had. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was spec
I really love suika for their uniquely flavored sushi, their creamy Uni Udon, and honestly everything else on the menu. While the portion sizes are small, the food is amazing. Go there for the Happy Hour!
Awesome Izakaya with unique dishes - from different types of Kara-age, to a take on Bibimbap! Tako Kara-age highly recommended. A wide variety of sake/cocktails round out the culinary experience.
It's pretty packed, even on week nights, so reservations definitely recommended.
Excellent service. Go
Very popular place. We had to wait about 30min. We checked a couple of near by stores til they called us when our table was ready. If you were not in rush, this notification system works great. The interior was nice and cozy feel. Food selections was decent. Lots of fried food, chicken, tuna, pork,
High quality food high quality place. Often has a long wait so make sure you book in advance. Had an unfortunate experience where I bit one of the chillies in their ramen and burnt my mouth. They were kind enough to find milk for me and even waived the cost of the ramen. Would definitely go back to
We've been looking for a go-to izakaya since moving here and, until further notice, Suika is it! There wasn't a single dish that was bad and several dishes were just plain awesome. The uni shooters and kakuni bibimbap were nothing short of delicious and the potato mochi special that night was quite
Hidden little gem right on Pine, a Japanese traditional and fusion spot. Had a handful of appetizers that were great, along with a nice assortment of main dishes. The Rainbow Uni Shooter was delicious, especially if you are a fan of roe. Started with the cold ramen salad which was phenomenal, wou
Stopped by Suika a few times with friends on a whim (we were super lucky and managed be seated without a reservation), and we loved the experience. We split a few plates between the 3 of us: chicken karaage, grilled octopus, seafood ramen, wings, and we were decently full afterwards. I could have do
I've been to this place twice, and of my experiences here, I'd say it's average. The pros and cons balance each other out, and I'll list both below.
Pros:
Food is unique and creative, and so much fun to look at and experience. The staff are all stellar. The interior looks cool, almost like an under
Seated very quickly despite the restaurant being nearly full. Service was quick and courteous. Grilled mackerel, creamy uni udon, tako wasabi, sashimi set, matcha creme brûlée with red bean sauce, and sake sangria were all excellent.
Very impressive Japanese fusion restaurant. Energetic vibe with extensive choices of cocktails and seasonal menu of food. The ox tail ramen was really good - meat was cooked to tender, broth was flavorful and the noodle was done just right. Another must get is the uni cream udon. We also got the gri
Great izakaya selection that is beyond the typical japanese American style. Lots of choices for Karaage (chicken, octopus,etc..) as well as batera style rolls (they're actually square rolls)
The Japanese cuisine here is seriously delicious, and bonus points for playing Gundam in the background. We ordered the uni shooters, uni creme udon, a saba sushi dish, and warm sake to go with it.
The drink menu is extensive and I wish I had more stomach room and cash to try some of their watermel
Went there for dinner before going to the Paramount. Good service. Loved the Smoked Tuna Tataki and Moscow mule with house gingerbeer. Delicious. We'll be back for sure
The place is really cool! The food is very nice as well but the Sashimi was just so-so. I like the hot dishes more.
Best Japanese fusion that we have had in the Seattle area. The most delicious and smoothest Uni udon that we have ever tasted. A beautiful work of art! Wonderfully seasoned and balanced QQ Mapo Rice Cakes! Perfectly cooked Soft Shell Crab. Excellent cocktails. Friendly and attentive service. The spe
