Hands down one of, if not the best burger in north Seattle. This place was amazing, quick, and child friendly. I am not a huge go out and get a burger type of guy but I will def drop in any time I'm up north, or possibly make another special trip!

Just tried the new range-free vegan burger -- AMAZING!!! The City Slicker is also great -- spicy and flavorful -- but the range-free is meatier and the closest thing I've had to a beef burger in 30 years! Thanks for adding it to the menu.

2 adults 3 kids - all very happy with their food. The burgers were amazing and the salad bar was the best I've ever had. Loved the cauliflower side dish too. Will definitely be back to try more menu items again. Thanks for the amazing lunch!!

Love this place. Great food and beer! They offer a lot for the lighter appetite as well. Great salad bar, veggie burger and they offer lettuce wraps. But you can absolutely not beat their burgers.

I work with New Roots Organics in Ballard and visit their facility twice a month. Every time, I HAVE to pop in here after for a brew and burger. They have a great variety of high quality beers, ciders, spirits and even Kombucha on tap, and their White Bean Burger is amazing. I'm not even a vegetarian and I order it most visits, it's THAT good. The service is excellent, speedy and the bartender/servers are always laid back and friendly but extremely efficient. Highly recommend.

Excellent fresh food, some really unique choices on the menu for vegetarians (greens, fried cauliflower, salad bar), and an amazing tap list (B-BOMB PINTS!!). Kids loved it too. Great place.

Loved this place. Cool chill family oriented place to eat. If you sit at the bar you can definitely notice how everyone works hard but at the same time always give you a smile and talk to you no matter how busy. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. Awesome place!

Excellent burger in a great atmosphere. The lager was a perfect combination for the Kit n Kaboodle burger - I'm not into deep fried onions but these definitely made the burger stand out! Give it a try :-)

The boyfriend and I finally made it here. The bf says that 8oz have got a competitor in Giddy Up Burgers and Greens, and I think they're better than 8oz Burgers. We both liked the big open space too.

Great burger spot in Ballard! Nice burgers with a good selection of drinks. The fries and tots were both really good... The potato inside was soft while the outside was still crispy. Only negative is that the "large" sides were on the small side. Variety of seating options, inside, outside covered, outside uncovered. Large place. Huge bonus is having a free parking lot right outside.

I really enjoyed my food here and it seems to be set up well for families with kids (and possibly dogs if you sit in the covered outdoor area). If I had family visiting this would be a top choice to bring them to. Took off one star because the prices are a bit too high for the burgers not to come with fries.

Loved the vibe and burgers! Such good flavor. Recommend the OMG burger - carmelized onion, sautéed mushroom, and gruyère topped with tasty aioli

So it's late and me and the crew are half cut on some local brewery and my boy Nick is like "yeah let's keep this party going at a family restaurant!" It's affordable, tasty and filling. What's not to love? Great family place or late night booze sink. Would happily go again.

This. Place. Is. AMAZING! I don’t even know where to start but I’ll start with the burgers. THEY ARE AMAZING! The most juiciest burgers ever and you can customize them to your exact liking. The drinks are also really good and they have an awesome selection of beers. The dipping sauces are behind delicious and you will need pretty much all of them for your fries. GET THE FRIES!!! The staff is also extremely nice and helpful and there’s just nothing bad to say about this place. If you haven’t gone you need to get on it. GO NOW!!!!

Decent burger joint, nothing fancy here. The 13$ burgers are pretty good, but not great. They don't ask how you'd like it cooked. You get what they serve. There's a bit too much sauce taste in your mouth. The burger should be served hotter and less wet. It's too much dripping, and the drip is not beef juice. It's sauce. The bun is thin and not toasted crisp, a bit soggy. It's a good burger, better than fast food, but not great. Seating is hard wood chairs and benches, and saddles even. Nothing fancy or comfortable. Dig in, eat, and go. Big screen TV overhead. Outdoor and indoor seating. Facile parking. WCs are very good, water nice and hot, and abundant paper towels (no dysfunctional dryers here). Service was friendly but business like. Wait time is very short. The menu is big, so think about it, take your time. The fries are a small mountain. So, IMHO, it was a bit expensive for the experience.

Clean and comfortable. Western style atmosphere. Great sloppy burgers! Beer, vodka-lemonade, ice cream, appetizers. The service was good and friendly and the food came out quick. We went to the zoo and were looking for a burger joint and this looked good so we went and were pleasantly surprised.

Great little burger place, and the best sweet potato fries I've ever tasted! I got the Swayze burger, added avocado and their fabulous fire sauce (not pictured) - it was superb! Cider on tap, too. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I really enjoyed my time here - definitely will be back!

A great place for a Friday night burger, when you’ve tried the whole Asian food scene this city has to offer. Loved the sweet potato fries! So grips and juicy. The Elk Burger was also a great catch. Distinct flavor from the Elk but paired very well with mushroom and truffle aioli. Would come back next time I’m in the city!

I like this place, and the food is good. The building and decor is really unique, with benches, saddles, and booths with lots of wood. The haystack onion rings are a different take as a side, and definitely designed to be used on other things (like on the burger, in the chili, etc.). It’s been a while since we’ve been here because of the pandemic. The menu has changed a bit, as I remember a sloppy Joe they used to serve, but not anymore. What I did notice is how much more expensive it’s become. Just a burger and fries, and a cup of chili with onion rings and drinks was about $40.

Giddy-up is a very nice lunch place for folks in the area. It’s a self-serve place where you order at the counter, pick up a number to place on your table, and a server brings food to you afterwards. Giddy Up Burger has a very nice ambiance, with some great decor. I definitely enjoyed sitting on a saddle in the patio. The patio itself was great, very welcoming, warm and bright. Prices are reasonable. Quality of food is rather good. While tasty and flavorful, the burgers are rather small and seem flat. However, there’s a wide variety of food you can choose from, from a salad bar to burgers and other bbq things.

Love this place and try to come here anytime I am in the city. Selections to appeal to all, the city slicker vegetarian burger is my favorite (they also offer a vegan burger, and regular meat burgers). Salad bar, fries, onion rings, tater tots, and even fried cauliflower to choose from. So many choices You won't leave hungry! Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, cool decor and its very clean! Most everything you could use thats single use is compostable which is freaking awesome, and they have actual cups and utensils as well. I can't say enough good things about this place.

The burger and Totts were top notch. One of the better burger places I have found in a while. For me the Ranch had to much dill, but minor complaint and I am a ranch snob! But I will be back, saw a few more items I want to try...
