The most authentic dumpling and noodle soup in Seattle! Cheap too! Service is fast, parking is iffy since it is street parking only. Don't go on weekends, especially Sunday! The dumplings are a generous size also, much bigger than I am used to growing up with homemade dumplings!

You can tell how good the wonton noodle soups are going to be when you can smell the delicious broth/soup (i.e. shrimp roe) from across the street. A small but very popular restaurant we waited about 30 minutes at lunch time. We ordered a few bowls of wonton noodle but rather than choosing the traditional egg noodles I got the thick rice noodles (one of my fave noodles). Congee seemed like a popular dish here so we also ordered pork liver congee to try. The wontons were on point and had a good mixture of prawn and pork just the way it should be. Soup was tasty of course. The congee was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Mike's Noodle House is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

If you like simple HK style noodles, this is the place to try. It was a rainy and cold day, so it was a good day to try this. The special fish ball soup was very good. The fish balls are actually filled with fish roe and minced garlic, and very hot. Best way is to bite off the tip first.

One of my favorite places to go for soup and congee. My favorite is the pumpkin congee. I actually like the serving size; it's not too much. Frequented this place throughout my childhood, and is still a good place to visit.

I visited Mike’s noodle when I had craving for Cantonese style wontons and could not conveniently be in Vancouver BC. The wontons were pretty big with thin wrapping and small crunchy shrimps plus nicely marinated, peppery, tender pork with a little fat. The soup, however, seemed to have changed from what I recalled. Mike’s noodle’s congee, or rice porridge, was also one of the better ones in the Seattle area. Not too runny nor too thick, it was creamy with very simple flavors. I liked the fish congee with tender fish fillet and ginger; and the version with creamy thousand-year old eggs and well salted pork.

This is my go to spot for congee in the Seattle area. I have never been disappointed with the cod congee here, except for when they run out. For those who are not familiar with what congee is, it is soupy white rice dish also commonly known as porridge. Doesn’t sound too glamorous but it is great for those cold, dreary, rainy Seattle days.

Mike's Noodle House in Chinatown, Seattle is my favorite place to get quick and cheap congee and noodles. Consider this place like Vancouver's Congee noodle house but much smaller. My regular meal here would include an order of fish or perserved egg and pork congee , an order of wonton noodles and an order of tripe to share with friends. Yes, tripe, an order of boiled trip comes with cilantro, ginger, and boiled lettuce with a side of spicy soy sauce. This is the only place that I'd order and eat tripe at, mostly because they have great crunchy texture and that they don't taste funny. The wontons in wonton noodle soups are always delicious. The filling has very nice pork and full sized shrimps. You can order the noodle soups with 3 different noodle sizes. I like mine with thick noodles. This place never disappoints, especially when you have a hangover. If you are looking for a nice bowl of congee in Seattle, this is probably one the best places to go. [Show as slideshow] [Vie

Hot and tasty. Came here early (about 9:45 AM) to avoid the usual crowd. Tried their "beef brisket and wonton noodle soup." Great comfort food, though, in my opinion, the broth had bit too much soy sauce. I did love that the noodle soup came to the table so hot that it was, at first, difficult to eat. That's the way noodle soups should be served.
Not an overly friendly service, but quick and efficient.
I will return to try other noodles and congees for "breakfast."

Best Noodles in Seattle. This is not a place for fried noodle enthusiasts. Mike's has soup noodles and lomein which are the best I've had in Seattle. The Suigao are very well made and soup has a great flavour. The noodles are made just right with the right amount of chew. The congee is also very good. It took me over 2 years after moving to Seattle to find a place in Seattle that had authentic tasting Chinese food, and I finally managed to find it at Mike's.

Great congee. The pork congee (or really any of the varieties) is great--try it with a chinese doughnut for dipping.

This shop is very small but their food won't disappoint you for sure. We got beef brisket noodles, beef, and wanton noodles. Meat is so soft and flavorful. This place is CASH ONLY. Don't forget to grab cash before going there. We would love to go back to another menus.

I been to this location 13 years ago and have been a fan since. A true hole in the wall that fits 20 people. CASH ONLY. If you are from Portland, Kenny's noodle house is the Portland location, owned by a different relative or something. The menu is exact. This is a fairly authentic Cantonese style restaurant. I recommend the wonton. It had a good mix of shrimp and pork. The soup is more rich and not a common flavor. The beef brisket is quite tender. It is the fatty kind. Their congees have a generous portion of meat compared to most places. The soymilk is whatever. They do expect you to make up your mind quick since they want to turnover tables quickly. Overall there is no service. Come here before 1130 if it is a football Sunday weekend! There is no place to wait but outside. They don't have texting system to notify you.

Authentic cash only noodle and congee shop in the middle of Seattle Chinatown. Our fav Cantonese noodle and congee place in town. The braised beef and tendons are the best. Also highly recommend the fresh fish balls - chewy, tender and so rich in flavor. Tip: get cash before you go… there are no ATMs nearby and they don’t accept Venmo.

We hadn’t dined in for long time due to the pandemic. We ordered squid ball beef brisket noodle soup $13, special fish cake noodle $13.5, mixed meat congee $12(pork, liver, kidney & stomach). The quality is as good as before and they were all tasty, very authentic Cantonese style! Highly recommended.

This small and tasty Chinese restaurant is awesome. My friend and I walked in and ordered a bowl of beef soup to eat. This is like the most memorable place I have ever been. Feel like I'm in Hong Kong or back home in Asia. Because of the food, people, and the friendly atmosphere. I'm hungry and what about you??🤤🤤

Please bring CASH. Mike’s Noodle House only accepts cash. There is Bank of America nearby for you to withdraw cash. The four of us ordered the Plain Congee, Pork Liver & Kidney Congee, and Clam Meet w/ Preserved Egg & Salt Egg Congee, Chinese Donuts, Sui-Kau Noodle Soup, and Handmade Fish Balls & Fish Cakes. My favorite was pairing the plain congee with the Chinese donuts. Our waitress wasn’t nice nor rude - they were ok. Overall, our experience at Mike’s was good and memorable. The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was cozy.

No riffraff, just fire Cantonese dishes without the fuss. Constant dripping faucet seen through the kitchen window is very authentic. Wonton soup W/ beef brisket, ADD EXTRA wontons, is my go-to! *** If you’re ever in PDX, try KENNY’s NOODLE HOUSE, which is their sister (brother) establishment! Fantastic! Soup’s on! …and you don’t need a coupon!!!

This place surprised me with how good it was inside Seattle's Chinatown. The Pork and Preserved Egg Congee was delicious as well as my Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. Although it's cash only there they give you your money's worth there. I left there full which is a great thing to feel when you leave a restaurant. The next time I go to Seattle I'll be returning there to try the other food options they offer.

The rock fish congee is good, and the noodles and soup of the black chicken soup is good. Unfortunately pieces of black chicken in the soup was rubbery and unchewable - almost like I was trying to tear raw meat off the bone. The pieces they gave also felt like scrap cuts with almost no meat on them, like the end portion of a drumstick. Would not recommend it. They also upsold us on some fish balls that wasn’t really worth it. If you stick to the basics here, you’ll like what you get. Cash only

$$$ CASH ONLY $$$ Mike’s noodle house is a no frills and good food restaurant in the international district at a good price. The wontons are hand made by the staff and are absolutely delicious! Food I’ve had a chance to try both the soup dishes and dry noodle dishes as well as the wonton and sui kau. I really enjoyed the soup version over the dry noodle version. And I liked the sui kau over the wonton, but that was just a preference based on the filling. The sui kau has vegetables and mushrooms whereas the wonton has shrimp! The noodles are the same in both types of dishes and are very thin. Atmosphere No frills and casual setting. You can find people swinging by right after work for a nice hot meal before heading home. The inside noise level was not too loud when I went. Pricing $$$ CASH ONLY $$$ Good prices for the amount of food that they give. Service Good service from all the staff working there and have good English. Make sure to bring cash. Food comes out really fast too. Other Street parking available in the international district so it can be challenging to find some days and times. When I went there wasn’t too long of a wait (dinner time).

The best noodle soup resto I've been to!!! Super affordable and the beef brisket noodles is to die for! 😍🥰 I'm going to recommend this place to friends and family. This restaurant was actually recommended to us by a Cantonese friend so he knows where the good Chinese restaurants are in Seattle 🤫😉

This place only takes cash! Be prepared! Aside from that, the food was really tasty. I got the beef brisket noodles which were very flavorful. The only thing I didn't like was that my beef brisket was 75% fat. I would have preferred more actual meat. The portion was a good size though. The Chinese donuts were okay but very greasy. They currently have indoor seating and try to space everyone out which is nice.
