Probably the best spicy salmon I've ever had. It's not minced here like other places do. It's chunks of the absolutely freshest salmon topped with a drizzle of spicy mayo and Sriracha. The bowl is a very complete and well rounded meal, including several types of seaweed, edamame, pickled ginger, lettuce, Krab meat, roe and rice. I'm blown away, and we apparently stumbled in while they were 'slow': only 2 people were ahead of us & we only waited 5 minutes, but I would gladly wait 30 or more for food this good.

Loved it but what's the use now? The line is 40-50 deep. Cross town drive and hour wait? Time for a larger or second location. Please??? Still recommend though.

Best poke bowls around and price is just right. It's pretty busy around lunch time so get there early. Only a small counter to eat but there are chairs outside too.

I stopped in for a salmon poke bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious and a bargain of a price. Also great, the regular convenience store finds of inexpensive cups of coffee, snack foods, and a fridge full of drinks.

The salmon, tuna and eel are really nice. They keep the fish, salad and rice etc separated so you can choose how to mix it. The value is really good, everyone working here is nice, and it's usually pretty fast after 7 pm.

Freshest poke around! Really enjoy the salmon and spicy tuna poke bowls here, as the fish is always super fresh. The service is speedy and the caliber of poke always reminds me of Hawaii. They also have a little convenience store in case you need beverages or other little snacks when you stop in.

Don’t let this unassuming place fool you, their poke’s great. You choose from only a few options, and then you’re served a hearty, well packed bowl of poke. Fresh and tasty, perfect for satisfying a craving. There’s a few spots to park out front on 45th that can be a bit tricky if traffics in a rush, otherwise you can park around the corner in the neighborhood.

I loved the flavors and taste! I appreciated having a veg option while the rest of my group could enjoy authentic poke!

Love the poke bowls. The flavor is great but there is no verity of different seasonings to choose from. Unfortunately I wouldn’t consider this place a “great deal” anymore after their $5 increase with no change to the proportions of fish. The photo is 2 salmon (non spicy). I continue to go because they’re fast, convenient, and tasty. The other Asian market snacks at the shop are fun to try too.

Fast and delicious poke situated inside a cute convenience store (with Japanese treats). No frills ordering process with few customization options (you can choose the fish and some add-ons). There's some counters and bar stools for dine-in seating, but it's really the perfect grab and go place. I always get the salmon, which has amazing texture and flavor. My only complaint is I wish they had sliced cucumber instead of capers.

You wouldn't expect this quasi-bodega to be one of the best poke spots in Seattle but it sure is. The fish is divine, a perfect amount of delicious sauce, and a size big enough to feel like you've had a real meal. The people who work here are chill but efficient, I will definitely be back.

Salmon and tuna were both high quality, no greens were old/slimy, fresh ginger, sauce wasn't overbearing, quick service but the bowl was packed efficiently and well. Honestly, extremely impressed with the poke. Best spot in town.

Bottom line first: Good fish, well dressed bowls, and AMAZING burritos served in quite the unassuming setting. Supposedly this is the best poke shop in Seattle, as rated by an Eater poll. It definitely lives up to the hype. I was particularly blown away by the poke burrito. For $11 this burrito was worth it. Filled with yummy poke, well seasoned rice, and an assortment of other goodies, this burrito was packed with value and flavor. The poke bowl was also good. The fish was very good. I tried the tuna, snapper, and eel. The bowl was filled with lots of other goodies as well, similar to the burrito: rice, lettuce, edamame, Japanese pickles, ginger, seaweed salad, and nori. Not sure why the bowls are loaded with so much lettuce, but so be it. I added "avocado" to my bowl for $2, but was actually guacamole. I was expecting fresh avocado but more bang for your buck than chipotle for sure. Overall I thought the food was great. Value was definitely a plus, but I would have preferred for some more fish and less lettuce. I absolutely loved the burrito and will be back for another one!

Best poke in Seattle. I always get the two-fish bowl, half-rice and half-salad. Spicy salmon and unagi with extra sauce. So good... Quick service, nice folks. Small convenience store attached with lots of beverage options.

I've known about 45th Stop and Shop Poke for years (they've been around since before the poke craze) and finally went on a whim. I visited within 45 minutes of closing so they were already cleaning up, so I felt kind of bad for that. For those unacquainted, the place is a small convenience store with the poke operation running in the back of it. I was expecting a bigger convenience store and a smaller kitchen but I was there for the poke. I guess I had not done a lot of research but I was surprised that all I really needed to order was the size of the order, the seafood and the rice or salad. I was expecting to have to order the sides but no need. I placed my order for spicy tuna and spicy salmon with half rice and half lettuce and waited a probably 3-5 minutes before it came out. While I was expecting a little more fish (maybe it's because I came in an hour before closing), I was really impressed with the spicy marinade on the poke. It was flavorful and complex and not too salty or sweet. I also enjoyed the sides a lot. I enjoyed the imitation crab salad and seaweed salad. I also really liked the crunchy topping on the dish. Overall, I'm glad I've finally visited and will probably come back again.

Unlike poke places that give you slivers of fish or attempt to over complicate with decoration, they just cut through it with the bare necessities and succeed in every aspect. Plenty of fish and thick chunks too. The tuna and salmon were flavorful. I got half salad and half rice and there was still a huge amount of rice pressed into the bowl. It seems expensive but I think when you get high quality like this, you gotta be a little willing to compromise on price.

For years and years and years it has been the best most consistent and delicious poke I’ve ever had in Seattle. I don’t know how they continue to provide the same awesome service time and time again but they do. It’s the place I recommend most in Seattle. I love it so much.

This place brilliantly mimics the stop and shop poke shop you find on Maui. I go here quite often and will say 95% of the time the fish is exceptionally fresh, firm, well seasoned (if getting spicy) and without the fish fibers found in dreggy poke spots. Sure every now and again I might get some fibers, but these guys nail this crucial element of a great poke bowl. The krab, seaweed salad and other sides are perfectly fresh and well constructed in a bowl that comes out FAST (as you can add more sauce to your liking). Sure you can drive to Edmonds or get boba tea some place with your fish, but this is the most legit poke spot in Seattle.

Amazing as always! In 2016, 45th Stop N Shop gained rapid popularity with a spike in earned media. The quality has remained consistent since its rise to fame and lines are no longer way out the door. Less wait for the same great poke. Recommendation: Double check the hours before heading over • Take it to-go and eat it at nearby Gas Works park and offers amazing Seattle views! Pros: • Fresh fish. • Good variety without an overwhelming number of options. • Always super fast. Cons: • This is not a 'build your own Poke Bowl' spot, bowls come with standard toppings with limited customization (pick your base and your protein). • Very limited seating, don't plan on eating there.

This is te two fish poke bowl with half rice, half salad for $13! It was delicious and a huge portion! I definitely like the tune better than the salmon, but both were good. And based on the seaweed salad in this dish, I'll definitely be getting a seaweed salad side next time! Highly recommend! Also excited to try the wrap things!

Deeeeelicious! Service was a hit/miss. It felt pretty rushed. However, the portions of the fish pieces were THICCC and fresh. There weren't a lot of fluff toppings that you would find in Poke chains that have taken the nation by storm. It's simple, not full of frills, and just plain good.
