The food was delish and very flavorful. The staff at Adana was very accomadating and considerate of my shellfish/seafood allergies. They ensured me that the food did not cross contaminate and each time instructed me not to try my party's food because it was cooked in the kitchen with seafood. Overall the experience was great and pleasant and I would suggest this restaurant to my friends and family! Thanks for such a wonderful experience!
We can't wait to return to Adana. If you're hesitating to try the 7-course tasting menu, don't. It's well worth it, each course is beautifully plated, and more and more delicious as you go on. I could eat the pork belly all day, every day, forever and ever, amen. If you're an adventurous eater, and even if you're not, this place is not to be missed!

This was by far one of the most exquisite culinary experiences of my life. My husband is a chef and it takes quite a bit to impress him. Throughout each course, he was floored by the innovation, complexity of flavors and delicious combinations. Not only was the food exceptional, the drinks were surprising, but genius, and the staff blew us away. It was a perfect way for us to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you, Adana.
I think Japanese food is only fish, but meat dish was very good based on soy sauce. I especially recommend pork ribs. The dessert was also very good in Japanese style.
For what you pay, this restaurant is an absolute steal! This is the former "Naka" kaiseki ryouri place that has changed name and price point but the technique is still there. Chef Nakajima is awesome too! Highly recommend this place!

We had the opportunity to have the 3 course dinner in the dining area, as well as dine while seated in the bar! Both menus offer excellent choices for all. The presentation and explanation of each dish allows your imagination to hit your palate first, before indulging in its flavor! Tasty and affordable, but still elegant! Don't forget to order the side of Miso soup and rice because even the rice is prepared with love! Thank you for great service, atmosphere, food and beverages!
Fabulous in all respects. The presentation impeccable, the service flawless, informative and friendly, the decor zen. Well worth a repeat visit for a special occasion.

Bartender Cameron was outstanding, very friendly staff. Food for happy hour was awesome, drinks were great!
Currently holding down my #1 spot for Seattle. I love this place. The tasting menu is absolutely amazing, one of the best dining experiences all time for me. I also have to say that the staff is second to none, always premier service at Naka. Lastly, BAR MENU, whoa, be ready.

Delicious dinner tonight at Adana, with Paul and Denis. The new design is lovely and more cozy, Aimee has been a lovely hostess / waitress and chef Shota's food is as delicious as always.
Food and the service was excellent. Had a 3 course meal, still hungry, got recommended to get the Miso Clam Chowder by the awesome bartender last night. I am amazed and hooked by the tastiest soup I ever had!
Walked in was greeted right away which I appreciate. Sat at the bar, was given a glass of water promptly and menus to look at. The bartender was great! Made a mean old fashioned. Food came out well. Amuse first then the first choice. Pork belly and cabbage was seasoned well and had a lot of texture. But the highlight was the beef nabe. If I could live in that dashi I would. Beef was cooked well, nice and tender but had a bit of texture. All the veggies were cooked perfectly. Seasoning was delightful. Will definitely be back! Great job the everyone at Adana!
The Food and Service were impeccable!
My taste buds felt like a blind person seeing color for the first time. Every bite was exciting, delicious, complex and yet so comfortable. I’m not familiar with Japanese food, and I don’t even know if this was traditional cuisine. All I can say is Adana served us a meal to remember. Even if you’re not a foodie, you’ll enjoy the wonderfully pleasant flavors. Nothing scary or overly spicy. Just exquisite tasting food!
The food was amazing...service is stellar and very warm. Recommend to anyone looking for a new gem in Seattle...the chef really puts care and expertise into every bite you take!

A traditional, modern and seasonal Japanese kaiseki restaurant with an exceptional dining experience. Loved the attention to detail which reminded me of restaurants in Japan. Amazing staff and hats off to the chef! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. There's word that they will soon be opening a casual version of this restaurant a few blocks away so I'm really looking forward to that.
Came to Adana for the three course tasting. Ended up getting three desserts in addition too. Overall a really good experience and every dish was delicious. I think the stand out for me was the butter oyster and mochi gnocchi. I do wish they just had a few more pieces of poke and octopus. Service and atmosphere were excellent and I really appreciated the small things they did to enhance the experience, such the chef thanking us as we passed by the kitchen while leaving. Give this place a try if you are craving something different! I

A wonderful place in Seattle! I had the best sake I've ever had in my life, a Strawberry nigori sake. Very light, sweet and so easy to drink. The food was delicious. We ordered the three course tasting menu and we weren't disappointed!
Great, great food. Japanese dishes that are homey and refined at the same time. Friendly service. Nice selection of sake. We had the seven course chef choice and wow. All were great but the beef was outstanding. As were the veggies the little appetizers and the dessert. Will be coming back soon.
IMHO this is the best restaurant for fancy Japanese comfort food. I came with my wife and a friend and our party shared 9 dishes in total and were blown away by the service, presentation of the food, and most importantly the taste.
We can't wait to come back again!!!
A fun tasting menu. Wasn’t blown away, but would totally eat here again. Portions were perfectly sized, most of the flavors were spot on. The tempura was over salted, but had a nice batter to tomato ratio, and the mushrooms were nice and fresh.
Amazing. We did the 7 course chef's choice menu and every single bite was amazing. My husband enjoyed things he typically doesn't eat, like the lamb. The salt and smoke cocktail is amazing if you like peaty whisky flavors.
Chicken and shishito pepper katsu on a delicious aioli, awesome fried okra with bonito flakes and the best miso black cod you can find in town? Check check check.
Adana has great ambiance, very good service, and ridiculously good food! The three course menu is enough to leave you satisfied and with some room for dessert.
Adana offers probably the best take on Japanese food in Seattle. We tried the "second chapter" tasting menu, and every single course impressed us. Top-notch ingredients, fantastic preparation and creative presentation – all the right components of a dining experience to remember! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place no less that the food. Definitely one of the starts of the Seattle culinary scene.
Very sleek and modern Japanese bar & dining spot in Capitol Hill - the staff was really friendly and we loved their happy hour menu. High quality food and mood & lighting inside was perfect for a Friday night dinner meal. Loved their Passion fruit cocktail with yuzu juice, and pork katsu sandos!
It was a delicious place but the chef forgot to salt our Ramen. I'll give it another try because it was very flavorful without it and j quite liked salting my own Ramen but we'll have to see. The peppers were great. The smoked ice cream is amazing.

Upon entering I'm greeted and server Alex is super friendly and nice.
Seated, we are served water and Rose Wine. I called-in in advance and let them know I'm celebrating my honeymoon and this accommodation was prepared for us which we are greatly appreciative of.
We are served a weird concoction of sesame seed gaspacho, olive oil and other ingredients to cleans our tastebuds. Which is delicious!
Tasted the a Cowboy sake and tasted delicious. I'm grabbing a glass of that.
Fries with brisket, zucchini, and okra were freaking amazing! I cant even describe how good this tasted with the sake.
This waiter man just brought the most delicious dish of 2018, Turkey dish with cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes... this is great. I'm gonna finish eating and tell you how my duck is.
Shortly after, this god-man brings put my duck, damn....
This restuarant is the epitome of delicious during my time in Seattle... this is great, beautiful and scrumptious wrapped in one.

Excellent service and food. The ambiance was super chill. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner out. A bit pricier than what I normally go for but it was well worth the price. We tried everything on the December 3 course menu and enjoyed the majority of them. Hands down favorite bite of the night was the octopus. It was super tender and just melted in your mouth! Best octopus that I've ever had for sure.
Food is on the pricey side (as expected of Seattle) but it’s absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for some eclectic dishes this is a great place to go.

The katsu sando is 100% worth your time here. The dessert is very tasty as well, but I've been dreaming of that sando ever since.
