I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sal Y Limón, and I must say it was an outstanding experience! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, providing top-notch service that truly enhanced my visit. The vibrant atmosphere, with soccer matches playing on big screens, added an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience.
As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find that their veggie burrito was not only delicious but also packed with flavor. The combination of fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned fillings made it a truly enjoyable meal. I absolutely loved it!
In summary, Sal Y Limón has an amazing staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, a lively vibe with soccer matches playing, and a scrumptious veggie burrito that is an absolute must-try. I highly recommend this place and give it a well-deserved five-star rating!
Great overall experience! We sat at the bar, the gentleman there from Michoacán was very attentive and friendly. We got drinks, appetizer, and a meal and it was very well prized. The food was delicious!
We went for happy hours. My friends like their drinks. Chips Frescos with 3 salsas and guacamole was good. The presentation of tortillas shop was interesting, my friend said her soup was good. We ordered nacho without cheese because i am lactose. The bean was good with the salsa.
Lately, dining out hasn’t been pleasant because we are served microwaved ready made food and sometimes even stale food. This restaurant was a breath of fresh air. At the beginning they served us complimentary veggie taco which was yummy. Our main course and the sauces were fresh and tasty. Servers are attentive and helpful. I would definitely come back when I am around the neighborhood.
Good flavors. I got the tamales raja and they were perfect! The ceviche was good sized and fresh, good value for the cost! The spanish rice had good flavor too. They serve small tostadas as your free appetizer instead of chips& salsa. Food came out quickly. Overall a great experience! We already started eating when I took the photos, so expect better presentation lol
Excellent place to go for drinks, have fun with friends and partner, eat delicious Mexican snacks and above all, excellent service from the staff.
Very pleasant and fun music, I will definitely return to that place to have fun!
Fun place. 3 of us shared the mixed Molcajete,
A Stone Mortar Filled With Prawns and Skirt Steak, Vegetables Cactus Leaf, Pepper, Adobada and Tortillas. Plenty for before the show.

Food was great. Loved the portion size. We got a burrito and fajitas. The horchata was probably my fave.
Food was delicious. No meat no dairy and I was accommodated perfectly. Great presentation. Drinks were fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Service was excellent.
We stopped by here for lunch during happy hour. We realized this was a more upscale Mexican restaurant and didn’t know what to expect, this could either be really good or really bad. We were greeted at the front and promptly seated in the upstairs area. They gave us these huge jugs of water so we could refill our glasses as needed. Instead of the usual chips and salsa we were given a small complimentary tostada which was a nice touch. It was a bean tostada with cabbage, cotija cheese, and salsa on top. Service was a bit slow but this was most likely due to it being full, happy hour, and it being the weekend. I ordered the horchata and chorizo queso fundido. The horchata was good but nothing to rave about. The queso fundido was the star of my show. My plate was small but it was delicious and very filling. We came during happy hour so my dish was only $9, which I think was a great price. Keep in mind you are essentially eating a plate of cheese with meat sprinkled on top. My husband ordered the chicken mole which can be very hit or miss due to there being so many variations. The mole was amazing though, although it had chocolate and green apple, the sweetness was not overpowering and the flavors were well balanced. The dish was fairly small priced at $21 but that was expected due to the restaurant being a bit more upscale in downtown. For three people who consumed three dishes, we ended up paying $60 which we were surprised because we expected to pay more. Overall, we loved our experience and would definitely come back. If you’re in the area and want to try a more modern/upscale take on Mexican food, this is definitely worth a stop!
I was delighted to visit here. I usually only eat at tiny mom and pop shops when it comes to Mexican restaurants. But Sal y Limon demonstrates you can have good authentic Mexican meals and not have to trek to the South side of Seattle.
I definitely will be back to try the rest of the menu.
I have visited this restaurant twice and enjoyed it both times. The location is great. It’s a ten minute walk from Climate Pledge.
The Margaritas are flavorful with a good taste of tequila in them…. I tried most of the offerings. They even serve anejo which is what I prefer.
I had a torta sandwich and it was well above average. In a region full of taco trucks and Mexican joints, it’s better than most. My wife had the chorizo plate and my opinion was the same; above average. Pricing is typical for Seattle and there is some local parking relatively close by.
I’ll visit against when in Seattle.
If you're looking for some mouth-watering Mexican cuisine in Seattle, head to Sal Y Limón!
To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we stopped by for some festive fun and were blown away by their tasty offerings. We started with some loaded nachos, and I washed them down with two delicious drinks - the tangy Tamarindo and the heavenly Mint Mango.
For our main course, we shared some scrumptious tacos and a hearty steak plate, complete with rice and beans that were out of this world. The food was authentic and bursting with flavor - we were in Mexican food heaven!
The speedy and perfect service made the whole experience even better. The staff was friendly and attentive, in an authentic atmosphere.
Overall, Sal Y Limón is a must-visit for anyone craving some authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine. So gather your amigos and head on over for a fiesta you won't forget!
This is my new go-to spot for when I'm craving a margarita. They have a fun variety of flavors but I had to try my favorite cucumber jalapeño marg. The flavor was strong and definitely spicy, but what I really loved is that they did not hold back on the tequila either. So many places will give you a marg that tastes good but masks the alcohol but this place does right so you taste everything and it's well balanced.
After getting a good buzz, I was ready for the food and it was exactly what I needed. Tender, beautifully seasoned steak alongside cheese enchiladas that was hot enough to still give a good cheese pull. We also tried the salsa trio and the guacamole which were awesome.
Some parking to the right of the building as well as limited street parking in this area.
I live insanely close to here and am ASHAMED of myself for not coming earlier. It was absolutely excellent. The Happy Hour looked like a great deal, but we got there right after it ended so I’ll have to go back for that. But what truly sent it home for me was the Alambre (steak, bell pepper, bacon, and cheese) street tacos that our waitress recommended. I literally froth at the mouth at the thought of how good that steak was. I dream about it now sometimes. I feel like it’s rare that I’ve had incredible carne asada that wasn’t kinda dry, so this was almost like being blessed. Will definitely be coming back for that.
We also got the Ceviche and Quesadillas. These were less good but I don’t mind bc the tacos stole the show.
I also sat next to a lady who tried their Enchiladas Del Mar and exclaimed that it was the best Mexican food in the country. Bold statement but def makes me wanna try that dish next time too!
Spacious venue, they have a private room for our group of 10 people. Gracious server who’s willing to keep the checks separate for many of us. All the dishes we had are delicious.
The only issue is parking. It’s not easy to find parking in this busy area so give yourself extra time to find parking.
Don't let the unassuming exterior deter you from coming inside. It's a beautiful two story story restaurant that is well decorated and has a wonderful menu. They meet you at the table with refried bean tortas- AMAZING. the menu is comprehensive and flavorful. We went with a group of four and everyone loved their food and left happy. Margaritas were great too. We will definitely come back. This feels like a hidden gem.
I went on a Monday evening around a quarter to six. It wasn’t too busy but was gradually filling up as time went on. Service was friendly and attentive. Usually they have happy hour from 3-6pm, but on event days that is not the case. I got the chips frescos and a prickly pear margarita. The margarita was wonderful. They do not offer blended margaritas. Initially, I was a bit disappointed about that but once I tasted the margarita I no longer cared. They also served a small complimentary tostada. The chips and the tostada were both quite tasty. The chips, salsas and guacamole were very fresh and delicious.
Extraordinary quaint bar, in the heart of Queen Anne. Great customer service, outstanding choices of tequilas, and delicious food 😋 About a 10 minute walk to Climate Pledge Arena. It's the pre-funk spot for the Storm games and concerts, for me.
