Close to football and baseball. Awesome rotating beer selection. Cool historical vibe. Some beers are on ice. Pull tabs, lottery, and an outdoor patio that faces traffic amd everyone walking to/from the stadiums. It could change, but as of 8/19 there is also smoked ribs and wings on site. Tiny place, but Brian the owner has 11 tv's in the main part, and 2 facing the patio.
Oh man, this is pure nostalgia right here. You walk into a different era in this little pub, and are welcomed like family. The locals start talking to you right away, and love to banter. This area is amazing with great bars!
Absolutely visit sluggers and this place when you are making your rounds!
Busy, crowded, touristy, loud. I’m not knowledgeable on breweries or pubs, so I rated based comparing the few I have visited. (There’s so many in Seattle and West Seattle...) There was a short wait for dining, which is always a good sign I suppose.Took a friend from out of state and he bought an expensive t shirt here I believe. If you like that, then worth checking out one time.
Classic Seattle dive bar. My go to before Mariners and Seahawks games. Great prices on drinks and there is an awesome BBQ stand before events and ganes. Staff is friendly and it’s always a fun crowd. Standing room only on game days but it makes for a great atmosphere.
Do not let the crowd scare you away, the lines move fast and the drinks are cheap! This place is a must stop for me for any football, soccer, or baseball game. Its a Seattle legend! Super secret tip...shhhhh....there is a basement bar on game days arpund the corner inside downstairs, it looks like your weed dealers apartment but its ok when you have no line for strong cocktails and cheap beer, with a friendly smile. This place rocks!
Always a good time before and after any sports event if ur into a good dive bar. It has a cheers type of vibe. Even the regulars there are really welcoming. Sometimes the Hot Dog King sets up on the patio before the games which is super convenient and really tasty.
Friendly staff, and the bartender made me an excellent margarita
This is the go-to spot before any Seahawk or Mariners game. Cheap brews, cheap food, and a nice rowdy atmosphere. Perfect for pre-gaming before any sporting event. The only con is that it does get crowded.
Still standing 100 years later, holding up that EMC2 you spot from 99N as you enter downtown, the Triangle is a dive bar gem. Fried food lunch to 5pm, cheap pints of cheap beer always, "bespoke" 😉 cocktails made of things you'd find in an estate sale liquor cabinet. Game days are impossible, every other day is tech and construction workers having a happy hour... Or 4.
When I lived in town, it was a frequent hangout. After several many years of pretending Vashon was hip and affordable, living in town again. It shall indellibly be back on my day-off rounds now that I live in town again, even if it's startling to have sunlight in the bar with the Viaduct gone. The C route is once again convenient for bussing. At 71, that is important.
Very cool place! Small in size but large in heart, definitely go have a brew here if you have the time.
A Seattle historical landmark for dive bar/ place to go before a game. Friendly people who are always ready to chat! Start here with friends and head out to the game.
An absolute must! Especially on gameday, pre and post game. Have never been to the triangle and not made new friends. Not to mention Brian is hands down the best, wanna see a guy on top of his game? Meet Brian Honda!
It's small so walk in and be prepared to rush to the bar for what libation you desire then do the standing room only dance with your drink.👍
This place is just as awesome on the inside as on the outside. It’s worth a pop in while you are the area. Decked with historic memorabilia and surprises throughout the pub.
A good place to learn some local history. Small and quaint. Kind servers. A bit Dusty and rustic but worth the experience
