This is a great savior for Indians visiting Seattle. Very pocket friendly and quite close to authentic Indian food. They have limited items but taste is good. Try the Dal Tadka and pulao rice, it won't disappoint you.

My second visit to Chutneys so that speaks for itself that the place is worth revisiting.
-We ordered samosas and they were perfectly spicy and crispy.
-The paneer/chicken butter masala were good and the garlic naan ordered was okay (except for a portion that was a little burnt)
-The portions served are more than enough for a meal for two and the pricing is reasonable.
-The service is prompt and the place is friendly
- For the ambience I would say, I was really happy to hear Indian music playing.
There are pictures on the walls showing moments captured from the every day life which are simple and lively.

Overall, I would recommend it for a simple homely Indian lunch or dinner as you please.. :)

##They have deals running on Groupon which will also lets things easy on your pocket. Do check them out!!

I really loved eating butter naan with the Kashmiri Kofta while sipping on delicious mango lassi! The place also has a great vibe with adorable pictures adorning the wall.

Unique Indian food. The reason I say unique coz I cant find some of the dishes in seattle area. I have had some of those in New York but not here. The Lamb jardaloo was fantastic. We tried their Salmon Jalfreizi and for desert we had their famous saffron Kulfi. Everyting was spot on. Great service. Would certainly like to visit again.

Surprisingly Good. Tried this restaurant for dinner because we had a Groupon. The place is contemporary and clean, with nice booths. We had the Onion/Cilantro Stuffed Naan, the Lamb Vindaloo and the Roasted Eggplant Bharta; we ordered them "hot" for spiciness and they were just that - hot, lots of good flavor, but not enough to make you cry. It's not the best Indian food I've ever had, but it's flavorful, and a nice atmosphere, and I'd definitely go back. The service was friendly, if a little slow, but overall a good experience.

Delicious!. We're from Vancouver B.C. and dined at Chutneys Queen Anne on our visit to Seattle. It truly was the best Indian food that I have ever had! I preferred it over Vancouver's Vij's for it's flavours, atmosphere and service.
The butter chicken and prawn korma are to die for! We'll definitely be back every time we visit Seattle; we look forward to trying everything on the menu!

Nice place. I was very excited when I received the gift certificates from Restaurant.com as I have always been a fan of Indian food and have heard some mixed reviews about the restaurant and it was about time I tried it for myself. For our main meal we ordered the stuffed naan to share. I ordered the tandoori tikka and he ordered the Gosht Vindaloo. The chicken in my meal was perfectly tender with a nice light spice aftertaste. I am so Glad i tired this place not looking at previous yelp Reviews cuz this place has changed their owners, menus and have expended their menu serving vegan dishesh. now that ment a lot cuz i have friends who r vegan..
Wow, what a comeback!!

Billed as "extraordinary" Indian food & lives up to it. We had coconut curry and saag dishes as entrees, veg pakoras for appetizer, mango lemonade - saag was a little salty but so tasty it didn't matter. Everything was so good!

My favourite Indian food place in seattle. We were a table of 10 and food came out quick and was SO GOOD. At the end the chef came out to ask us how we liked the food. Super friendly service - our waiter was extremely friendly, and they even gave us free rice to take home with our leftovers.

We are frequent flyers at this restaurant, maybe three or four times a year. We love the Indian food. The red lentil curry, dahl, is my number one favorite. You can see the wide variety of dishes in the pictures. The ticket for three of us was $72 or about $24 each including tax. That's really good I think! Parking has always been easy in the lots surrounding the old Wallingford Center or Wallingford School House. It's at 45th and Wallingford. The hosts are more than congenial, they are fun guys. They always make our stay extra enjoyable.

First of all, I really love this restaurant and I had already reviewed it before without putting anything in the box. I have gone back multiple times for a lovely Tikka masala that they make and of course many other dishes. I'm treated like part of the family and they remember me as a regular customer and they take care of me whenever they have me there. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere, and just wonderful and a lovely experience all around. I would definitely recommend the amazing Chutneys Bistro.

We absolutely love this place. We have been going here for years. We take all of our out of town friends here and our clients. Hands down the best Indian food in town. The staff is always super friendly. The food is always top quality and fresh. One of the cleanest restaurants I ever been to. Outdoor seating available. Current menu pictured.

Friendly server. Nice ambience with outdoor seating. A bit warm in the restaurant (during heat wave.) Little confusing regarding prices with both old and new menus displayed. Chicken biriyani was pretty tasty and mild as ordered.

5★ To-Go food. Deep dish plates with loads of meat (2 choices on these plates), cups of rice, & a handful of seasoned veggies. Full at the moment, and these dishes were grade A. Chicken was tender & sauce had the right amount of seasoning. Mango beverage was amazing to close out the meal. Highly recommended bistro. Will definitely order in the future. Garlic Naan was light and fluffy. ♪

Chutney's Bistro is a great local establishment that has been in the neighborhood for decades. All of their classic Indian dishes are on point, including some of the harder to find ones like Malai Kofta. If you're dining in and want a special treat the Mango Margarita is killer. Dine-in or take out here are both great options, and I've even have them cater an event which everyone loved!

Curries are good and you have the option of getting seafood, chicken or beef with them. Menu includes alfredo pasta curry variation and lamb specials. I enjoyed the panner

Food and service was good. We ordered mango chicken and chicken tikamasala and they looked and tasted very similar, also not very spicy although it was 6/6. Root beer wasn't good, tasted a bit too artificial.

The food and service were great! I'd recommend for lunch buffet, or any other time. It was a good deal for the city. The outside patio was beautiful and calm.
