Too bad its gone. Seattle's best was a great local chain and the Pike Place cafe was their jewel. Starbucks bought SBC and killed it by rebranding it as a generic-looking chain and coffee machine brand. Truth is, their coffee roasts, from Vashon Island, were far better than Starbucks. SBUX has been very effective at buying out their competition.
