My friends and I have heard about Ping's Dumpling House before we moved to Seattle. We came here finally. If you are looking for an inexpensive, yet delicious homemade dumplings/pot stickers/soup dumplings, this is a place for you. Please don't compare Ping's Dumpling House with Din Tai Fung as the food here tastes just like what my mom makes back home. Also, the owner makes her own herbal tea which you can't find somewhere else. It's soothing enough, sweet enough, and warm enough for Seattle weather. Highly recommend!

Beat dumplings in Seattle. Have tried almost everything on the menu and it was amazing. The people that run it are also very nice and will suggest things if you don't know what to get.

Best dumplings I've come across. Din Tai Fung was our destination the night before, which was excellent, but the dumplings at Ping's are simply unmatchable, and the tea that comes along with your meal is delightful.

Don't waste your time with Din Tai Fung. Ping's dumplings are every bit as delicious (or even more so), and more different kinds to choose from! Not to mention more dumplings for your money and the friendly service. Also, clearly a family run business. All around winning combination!

I’m a huge fan of mom and pop restaurants and will go out of my way to support one rather than eat at a big chain restaurant. We’ve been passing by this place every few days for months and thought we’d give it a shot. In the entry room there’s a big bubble tea counter (always a good sign) with a great assortment of smoothies and bubble tea. The main dining room is full of bright line green tables right out of an 80’s movie set. The food and service smacked of the foods we got at the night markets in northern China. Small hand formed dumplings and buns prepared in house and all of the standard sauces. Nothing was mind blowing but everything was good. It’s a nice spot if you just want some quick comfort food or something fast before a game or concert.

This was such an unexpected find and we loved eating here. Shocked at how many vegetarian options there were. I can never find vegetarian dumplings in my home town. Great food. Would recommend!

the woman working here told me to order online and was pretty rude when I told her the online order wasn't going through, which is frustrating because there should be an option to order without having to go on your cell phone. She was a lot sweeter later on though and I understand her frustration. Chicken soup dumplings were tasty but some of them seemed undercooked. Food is affordable and the place is nice.

For the most part it was good. The food was pretty decent, service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant to be in.

I love this place and I have loved it for many years. The folks that work/own the place are sweet as pie and the restaurant is clean as heck. The food is absolutely delicious and so comforting. Get the pancake. Get the soup dumplings. Get the steamed dumplings. Get the bun. Get it all. You’re worth it! This place is worth it and I plead with y’all to help make sure they don’t get displaced from the CID. Bless you, Ping’s. You’re the GOAT.

SUPER cute shop. The lady in the shop was so sweet and appreciative of our business. She gave us a coke and some candies and was just so sweet. BEST soup xao long bao we've had. Wishing I could go every day!

Service and food was amazing. There were so many vegetarian options, I ordered #16. It came with 12 dumplings and amazing sauce. The owner was really nice and understanding.

Enjoyed authentic dumplings and Bao(?). The serving size of each dish was very generous and both tasted wonderful. Spoke with the owner for quite awhile and she was pleasant and friendly. Enjoyed our visit to China town.

Delicious food, everything was awesome and so tasty. The fried foods were not greasy at all (we had green onion pancake and some fried gyosa), the dumplings were incredibly fresh, the soup was refreshing, and the boba tea supper flavorful. The food came out fast, too, which is a plus but i'd have been just as happy waiting a while for this food. So good. We'll definitely be back: this is our new favorite dumpling restaurant. Significantly better than the big chain restaurant across the street.

Excellent and affordable dumplings. The xiao long biao was firm enough to lift, yet thing enough for a poke to penetrate the layer, with awesome.mouth feel and plenty of broth inside. Pot stickers where crisp on the bottle, yet soft and moist on top. Green onion cake was alright (can't win them all) and could have used more onions. Price well in a nice interior, with friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the food and want to do their upmost to give you a great taste and product for you to enjoy.

Just the same as it’s always been with a few appropriate upgrades. Lovely wonder still making the rumblings. Much more my style for a mom and pop eatery and cheaper than the chain dumpling house down the street.

Their milk shakes are double the size and half the price. Most importantly, it’s fantastically delicious! The vegetables small dishes and marinated chicken wings are also recommended! Hidden hem in China town. Dumplings are a rare find too.

I lived in China 25 years ago and this place does that cool brain phenomenon. As soon as I took my first bite , I was back in the “hutongs” of Beijing and Shanghai. The authenticity of the food is there. I’ll definitely return
