Warm and busting, and top quality drinks. A must visit to try their unique cocktails, which aren't too sweet. The dumplings were unremarkable, though I love that they have 3 vegetarian options.
Drinks were amazing! They weren't too sweet or too bitter. I got the Eva Peron and Over and Out. The risk taker was also solid, but the Eva Peron and Over and Out were definitely better. The Atmosphere is nice and fancy. Over all it was a perfect date night! The bartender was also super sweet and kind. ♥️ For four drinks it was about $60, so solid for a cocktail bar. I highly recommend if you are considering going here!
Food is amazing, if limited (dim sum pot sticker dumplings only). Drinks were varied; a few were very good while others were just average for a nice cocktail bar. They also seemed quite strong overall. Ambiance is nice and decidedly not upscale.
Atmosphere was artistically interesting, based on a historical “orientalia” theme;
Friendly sociable staff, good service.
Conveniently located in walkable, pedestrian-friendly Capitol Hill; Beware the street parking can be scarce.
Cocktail menu is updated seasonally, and handcrafted with fresh juices, syrups, and bitters .. albeit not strong enough (alcoholically weak) for my taste.
Great food! Dumplings are amazing- I had the leek dumplings. Also one of the bartenders can make the best PB&J I’ve ever had!
Cool little cocktail bar nestled away in a peaceful pocket of Cap Hill. We stopped by for happy hour and enjoyed the masterfully crafted cocktails we ordered. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.
Great neighborhood bar in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Cozy, dark, intimate, awesome cocktails. Kevin is fantastic. I’ll miss this place when I move away from the neighborhood.
Neighborhood cocktail bar.
Dumplings until 1AM.
Drinks are fine, but parking is hard to find.
Great cocktails, delicious dim sum late night bites, cozy atmosphere. Love this Cap Hill hidden gem.
Great place for an awesome cocktail. Chris, our bartender, makes some great drinks and provides a great atmosphere! Super personable and happy guy.
Lovely cocktails on a bustling corner of Capitol Hills quiet residential area. Ample outside seating.
Sol is a cozy cocktail bar with indoor & outdoor seating that I recommend for its happy hour, which includes speciality cocktails (5-7pm)
Very laid back during the week, heard it was busy on the weekend. Had the root beer float and a vieux carre, would recommend to everyone! Very nice place to chill for bit and have some high quality cocktails!
The egg nog was terrific. The bartender was friendly.
Sol Liquor, formally Sun Liquor is under new management but still offers just as good cocktails. Make sure to swing by for Tiki Tuesday the first Tuesday of the month.

Sol Liquor Lounge has a very special place in my heart. I picked this place as a first date back in October 2019. I was 8 minutes late. He arrived early and ordered us each an old fashioned while I rushed to the bar in the rain. Little did I know two years later we'd be engaged and planning our wedding. I like to attribute it to my exceptional taste in date venue, but part of me thinks maybe it was just destiny. Either way, Sol Liquor was a big part of our story and we are forever grateful.

Charming and cozy, very friendly and amicable staff. I enjoyed the lighting and decor. Outside seating was open and it was very nice to enjoy some fresh air with our beverages.
The drinks and atmosphere was not bad. Some of the drinks tended either toward quite strong or a bit too sweet. Still enjoyed them. The food however was terrible, and would not recommend. They were $8 for 4 pieces, and the hargow and jiaozi tasted like they were microwaved from some really terrible frozen brand. Plus they only had soy sauce to dip them in (no black vinegar for the dumplings or mustard sauce for the hargow).
