The best Korean Dolsot (Sizzling Stone Pot) Bibimbap I've had in America. The flavors, setting, and cooking style reminded me of my time in South Korea. Every meal is served with authentic style banchan. Very close to the light rail.
I live across the street and have been ordering from Kimchi Bistro once a week for takeout.
A couple reasons why I keep coming back:
1. The portions are generous.
2. The kimchi pancakes have a great mix of kimchi, onion, and chives. Other places will skimp on those ingredients and you're left with
The bibimbap was delicious and perfectly prepared the way I like it... well cooked egg (slightly running yolk) and the rice at the bottom of cast iron pot was not burnt! The dishes are mildly seasoned and it was nice to be able to taste the food.
I love how this hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant exceeds all expectations. As you're walking into the small arcade, you don't expect much after seeing the facade of the restaurant. You walk in and you're greeted by an older Korean lady, working with a younger Korean lady. The almost unintentional
The bibimbap was amazing. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Even the rice, usually the ingredient most likely to be just ok, was notably delicious. The egg in particular was cooked to perfection and the whole dish was tasty and filling.
Their bulgogi and kimchi were both superb as well.
This place is amazing! The portions are very large and the meat in my bibimbap was very tender and flavorful. I love their kimchi too. This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I will definitely return and try other things on the menu.
This is the typical asian restaurant that's own by a family, small and super good. I was impressed with the variety in their menu. The service was good and quick.
The only feedback that I will provide is that they need a contingency plan if the card reader stop working. I believe Square provide a go
This little restaurant reminds me of many places in Korea. The food is ok there, not the best Korean I have ever had but it’s not bad either. The server is super nice and attentive.
A very cozy and enjoyable location.
The food is amazing and the service is top notch.
The Gyoza it's delicious!!! 😋
My aunt and I were visiting the Arboretum, and couldn't decide what we wanted for lunch. I finally said soup, which to me has become synonymous with korean cuisine ❤️ My aunt likes bibimbap, so we checked out nearby options. I'm SO glad we stumbled across Kimchi Bistro! It's a little tough to get a
Came in craving some kimchi soon Doo boo (kimchi tofu soup) and I was pleased. For some strange reason, there isn't any AMAZING Korean food in Seattle, so in terms of what's local, this is 4/5, but if you're looking for legit fantastic korean food, go to Bellevue/federal way.
The restaurant was sma
Amazing food, really enjoyed the kimchi fried rice with the egg cooked just right.
Friendly, fast, delicious! This is my half eaten original Bibimbap with tofu. The presentation when it was brought out was beautiful.
This is a great hidden gem. I ordered Bibimbap to go and not only did it taste great but also they even put some side dishes with it! I've never had any other Korean restaurant provide side dishes for take out orders.
Additionally, it is a really cute restaurant inside and the place was super clean
My favorite restaurant in Seattle. Affordable prices, generous portions, amazing food. It’s also where I took my parents the first time they came to visit me here, and they loved it too. My favorite dish is the beef dolsot (served in the stone pot). It’s my comfort food.
Soooo good! Some of the best Korean food in town. Highly recommend!
Great food in a very low key environment. We have been eating the dol sot here for years. The kalbi plate is also very good.
