The Noble Fir - Seattle - Photo album

Each beer and cider was really good and high quality. Food options are enough, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The owners are super friendly and are knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We also really appreciated the option to sit outside and enjoy the Summer evening.
My fiancé and I stopped at this bar on our visit to Seattle/Washington. We had a lovely time trying wine and Washington ciders, browsing the hiking books, and speaking to the owners. They were very kind and knowledgeable about hiking and plants - two of my favorite things! I don’t think I’ve ever l
Had an engaging conversation with the owners about life and travel. Special people, who love their bar, care about serving the best beers and know their trade. More than anything made us feel welcome and at home. If we lived in Seattle, this would easily be our local.
Quiet and relaxing bar, perfect for meeting friends and having conversation. Unlike a lot of the more trendy places in the old Ballard area, this place keeps the menu simple and high quality. We had a cider flight and cheese/meat plate. Salami and cheese were both very good if not standard. Cider fl
It’s a really beautifully decorated (sports)bar, with a good selection of beers and wines. The service is good and it’s a pleasure to have an afternoon hang. The snacks menu is nice but it’s very overpriced! We had a tiny block of cheese, a few slices of salami and some artichokes for $20.
A fav local spot, especially when the sun is out. 21+ means no kiddos running around, so a great respite for these parents. 😉
Got two sliders that were fairly good. The ham seemed a little simple along with the bun. I got the Passionfruit Guava mimosa which was not too sweet. They didn’t give us any water which was interesting, but we also didn’t ask. The cheddar and goat cheese were very delicious along with the prosc
How have I not left a review here yet? I've been coming to The Noble Fir for nearly a decade and I hesitate to call it a bar. When I want a fantastic cider or beer, a quiet and mature ambience to spend time with my partner or a friend, nothing is comparable to The Noble Fir. Everything else seems l
The Noble Fir is a place you can go and not worry about your order. Every beer and every wine choice is excellent…and Rich and Ellen are happy to make a recommendation. Small snacks are a great pairing for a lazy afternoon and a couple of drinks, while chatting with the folks at the bar. One of our
Rick runs the stick, Ellen runs the floor. This bar is the passion project of a cool couple who’s actually stuck around. Good drinks, calm soothing ambiance, half an explorers club type bar and half a chilled out sports bar - this place is a unicorn, a real institution. Serious regular potential. Do
One of our favorite spots in Ballard! Awesome craft beer and wine selection served by lovely people! Great spot to pop in for a pre-or post-dinner drink, or to people watch during the Sunday market. They also have great little nibbles like a cheese plate and sliders. The maps and trail guidebooks in
We come here as often as we can - very solid beer selection and great recommendations too. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, love the map room!
Great atmosphere! We enjoyed the snacks and grapefruit rose!
Who knew you could meander around Ballard and end up in a cozy forest lodge? Great selection of on tap beer and cider, sides and sliders. Great indoor seating, lovely lighting, and the proprietors feel like family right away. This will be my “let’s meet up in Ballard” spot.
Such friendly staff! Perfect spot before or after the Ballard Farmers Market! Really good seasonal drinks! Tables outside and inside perfect for relaxing and people watching!
Wandered in for a drink before dinner and had a lovely time. The owners Rick and Ellen were very welcoming and lovely people, wish I had more time to hang and chat with them. Great music, ambiance, and beer selection.
This place is so great, we ended up there 2 days in a row. Small, but excellent wine selection. The owners are awesome. And delicious charcuterie board selection! Will definitely be going again and again.
One of the best beer selections of any Seattle bar. They do rotating draft list that are very interesting and feature hard to get/lesser known beers. The owners are friendly to chat up. Great place to grab a beer and relax while passing through Ballard.
The Noble Fir was great. Their current tap list is fantastic. They even had multiple sours. My friends and I all ordered different beers and they were all delicious. Most of their drinks are stronger/higher abv; they're not cheap, but definitely quality. I look forward to my next trip.
