Made my day! Easily among the best Indian restaurants in Seattle. Tried a few starter items here with wife. She is a finicky tea drinker and she loved the tea here. Tandoori chicken was juicy and flavourful, fish Tikka was delicious, we also liked the samosas. Chutneys accompanying the items really added to the flavors. Quantity was generous too, and service was 5/5. Recommended!

Great place to eat. The tandoori meat was cooked to perfection, it was tender and well cooked. The curry was good with garlic naan. A very good North Indian cuisine. I didn’t get a good feel about the biriyani but the meat in it was cooked perfectly. So no major complaints.

My son and I love Indian food. We found this place by happenstance and WOW. It is now a new favorite. We are vegetarians and split the Tofu Tikka Masala. (I also got falafel, but took it to go because we got full from the tikka masala). My son said this was one of the best meals he’s had in his entire life, and I’d have to agree! Very kind staff and amazing food. Can’t recommend enough!!!

We got the coconut curry with chicken, lamb biryani, roti, and Chai tea. On previous occasion we had the lamb Rogan Josh and it's all absolutely amazing. The coconut chicken curry is like no other Indian curry I've ever experienced, very coconutty and delicious. The lamb biryani was full of flavor and lamb, the medium hot was the perfect heat balance (on the spicier side). They generously refilled my chai and we loved every bit of the meal. We got full at lunch and had enough leftovers for a hearty midnight snack.

I walked in minutes after they opened for a quick lunch between sessions at conference I’m attending around the corner. The staff were quickly attentive, sat me down and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. I ordered the Chicken Rogan Josh - Hot - and was happily surprised they prepared the heat level on the spicier side! Most restaurants don’t trust my heat level since I’m not Indian. Daawat got it perfectly and the portion was extremely generous, not even taking into account it was lunch time. Their portion size is larger than I’ve gotten during most dinners at restaurants in my hometown of Tampa Bay. I would definitely recommend Daawat to any traveler finding themselves in between conference sessions, perusing the downtown streets for some flavor and spice, or to any local looking for another great spot in downtown Seattle.

Good food and service is on point. For the location the price is not bad at all (plus tax and tip). The atmosphere is welcoming, restaurant has a nice and spacious layout. We were also served throughly.

Portion size is generous, flavor was immaculate, service was great and managed the room and incoming orders very well, and mango lassi was the cherry on top to a stellar dining experience.

Easy pickup right in the entrance, nice interior, one curry comes with rice enough to share for two people! The naan was soft, and crispy! The butter special curry was delicious, this will be my go to Indian food in Seattle.💗

The food was really good. The Fish Tikka Kebabs were great, perfectly well cooked and soft inside and crispy outside. ( It’s not breaded) . The Chana Masala was also delicious. They were super nice and offered complimentary fritters cause the fish tikka took some time. Definitely a good recommend.y
