Great little place. It's in the U-District, so it's college-y. It's half cafe, half coffee shop. There's good table space and good menu. My husband and I split the Veggie Omelette. It was just enough for the both of us.
EXCELLENT coffee.
Variety, plug-ins, all-day breakfast!. I really like this place. The variety of food options is impressive and it has a ton of vegetarian options. The best thing is that they offer all day breakfast. But that's not all. Espresso? Got it. Beer? Got it. Wine? Yep. Tiramisu? Uh-huh. Pat Bingsu? Um... not sure what this is, but yeah, they have that too. Plus, it's a la carte (cafeteria style) so you can keep ordering more and more stuff and our own leisure and not feel weird! Wifi is free and many come with laptops in tow. To me, it's a good place to write and people watch. And write about people watchiing.
You can only get good eggs Benedict here.. I walked in here for breakfast one morning. The place is quaint and clean. The people behind the counter were awesome. The menu had such a large selection that I merely ordered what the counter girl recommended without giving it a second thought. The eggs benedict were so good that I now joke that I will not eat eggs Benedict outside of Seattle. The coffee was ok at best, but that is a minute detail given that the food, ambiance, and customer service more than makes up for it.
Nice and cool !!. Had a chicken club sandwich and alki beach sunrise
spend couple of hours on my laptop it was awesome.
Good food, and a great place to hang out and study. The baristas are great, and I appreciate the organic and fair trade stuff.
The traditional breakfast was good. Perfect amount of food. The toast was delicious, as well as the eggs (scrambled) and hash-browns were crispy and cooked wonderfully.
Great spot but ran out of Sapporo right after ordered it and forgot the blue cheese on my super Cali Cobb Salad. Person at the front taking orders was very nice and helpful. Very nice atmosphere and cool vibe. The spaghetti with meatballs was very good.
Our food experience was amazing overall. I loved the fettuccine Alfredo and everyone in my group enjoyed their food. My only complaint is, my mocha was pretty much half ice. Felt like I only got half a drink, but very small complaint compared to the amazing food.
A nice place to get a quick meal! I went here twice and had breakfast and lunch. I love that they serve breakfast all day which was convenient. I found the carbonara to be a bit oily but it satisfied my craving.
Also, this establishment uses self-bussing which I’m not used to for more formal dining places but it was no issue. Would definitely come back again!
A decent place to get breakfast or lunch. The tea and coffee were pretty good; although we had to get the coffee we made because they forgot the caramel.
The chicken and pork karaage were pretty average; I would order something else in the future.
Great local study spot with a wide variety of food options.
This restaurant has decent food, abundant seating areas, and a wide variety of drink options if you are looking for a more Cafe-like experience. If you need a charging port the options are a bit more sparse, but I've never had any issues beyond a short wait at peak times.
Skillet was amazingly hot and delicious, pumpkin spice latte was one of the best I had even with them training a new barista. Pay at the counter when ordering, self seating and silverware is located by the water station with napkins, butter, jelly, hot sauces and coffee supplies.
Came in to town for a procedure at UW and stayed down the street from this little cafe. In three days we visited this place at least 4 times. Great service and atmosphere. Ate here twice as well as multiple coffee orders. Everything was on point and delicious.
Really great value and large portions! The selection of food is great and it is a really nice spot for students to study and have a meal. Priced accordingly for students and fast and friendly service.
This place SLAPS. 11/10 food & smoothies. Get the green matcha one, you won’t regret it.
I love the music, the views, and the red velvet mocha. Also recommend the milky way drink. Don't forget to ask for them to be extra hot, if that's your preference!
Cool cafe spot! Salad had a good balance of toppings and was giant (which it should be for 14 dollars at lunch). It reminded me of a local version of Panera. I'm not saying it's the best thing I've ever had but it was solid. Would go back. Side note, it has covered outdoor seating which is another plus.
